Hello, Why Not possible to use Pollard Kangaroo for CPU/GPU in Random mode? I think It would be More effective While searching wallet from More than 100 Bits isn't??

or can i use it for specific ranges?if yes, give me a link please or post command with ranges.

hey guys what is the key range for 64 bit address? I'm having trouble figuring out how to calculate key bit ranges and google doesn't turn anything up

 ( In Decimal )
for #64

start = 2^ 63    =    9223372036854775808
end  = 2^ 64-1 =    18446744073709551615

use this site to convert decimal to hex https://www.rapidtables.com/convert/number/hex-to-decimal.html

Hello I see this today, I was trying to solve #105 puzzle, but  i see it solving time today, nearly 4700 years to solve,I think this is random search, how it can be  take too long time, no chances to find it early that mean?

Congratulations to the winner who had found the #62   Smiley

I wonder which was the privkey  Cheesy

Pubkey is 03231a67e424caf7d01a00d5cd49b0464942255b8e48766f96602bdfa4ea14fea8

I'm going to try cracking it with baby step giant step, but I think I'm right at the edge of memory that my compiler can allocate for the table. Trying it anyway.

Hopefully the person who claimed the prize is just waiting for several confirms before revealing the details. Or they're asleep Smiley

Great! Thanks for your help.

I'm trying with the Pollard Kangaroo script. Let's see how much it'll take  Cheesy

can anyone share kangaroo script for CPU please?

what i don't understand is , if 2^50 bit address can be found in 570 second.
then why, we can't find 2^105 bits of puzzle address in 1140 second? or bit more? but why it takes so much time than it should simply do...

i use the random funktion and the --share funktion

so when i take two hex keys and make share and betweeen these shares i take the random starting point generation is it good ?

with -p 3500 i have 24576000 random starting points between the shares

and i also run pollard kangaroo for 105 Smiley

i have 3 gtx 1070 each one make 250 Mkey/s

Do I still need to buy pollard kangaroo ? or it is free on the internet now?

I can understand  this puzzle wallet not in Ethereum,
But i think Vitalik can seize the funds from any ethereum wallet whether it's in trust wallet or any other wallet, he can seize the funds if the coins are earned by stolen/hacked is not it?

Don't know.  Don't care.  You are in the wrong thread in the wrong section, probably on the wrong web site.

Since your posts are about Ethereum they are off topic and will be reported and deleted.

Your complaint/discussion belongs on an Ethereum related web site.

sorry ,If it's restricted on this group for talking about out of topic,I will delete those posts my self,
and i know, where i am , and why this channel is made for, actually, it's just my curiosity ,sorry to ask here.

Why we need this for? as we already know bitcoin puzzle wallets are randomly chhosed by the creater?
so, what's the goal of it calculating this? ( sorry if I am wrong, I don't know)

Hello, in which wallet should i recover the found keys (wif, hex format) , i need a decentralized wallet , so people can't seize the money even if they want,

i need solution for this please
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin puzzle transaction ~32 BTC prize to who solves it on: July 23, 2019, 11:06:27 AM
can anyone know, or explain to me please,

how it will be easy to find private keys which has spend transaction for the wallet  in compare to wallet which hasn't spend transaction ?
please explain if anybody know , i am confused so, thanks.

When there is no spend transaction the search method is:

Next Private Key -> Public Key -> Hash -> Bitcoin Address -> Compare Bitcoin Address, repeat until found

Note that due to the hashing functions used the Bitcoin Address match is expected within a private key range of only 2160

A spend transaction exposes the public key so when there is a spend transaction the search method is:

Next Private Key -> Public Key -> Compare Public Key, repeat until found

Note that the private key range in this case is the full 2256 but there are ways to speed up the process so the effective security is reduced to only 128 bits.

See the following:

Quote

So the two situations are:

Full entropy 256 bit private keys with multiple spend transactions have 128 bits of security

160 bit Bitcoin address from a full entropy 256 bit private key with no spend transactions have 160 bits of security

So Bitcoins kept on a Bitcoin address with no spend transactions are safer (160 bits of security) than Bitcoins kept on a Bitcoin address that has spend transactions (only 128 bits of security).

thanks, let's say we got a spend transaction on bitcoin puzzle wallet #120, we got hash of it, so how do we calculate with bitcrack for 2^128 possibles?

okay, if there's no secrets on private keys for bitcoin puzzle wallets,(if choosed randomly)

how it's puzzle wallet then? it's not puzzle, it's just searching for luck for the one random of keys between trillions of keys.
we can't solve , because there;s no secret in it, but we can keep searching and try our luck, is not?

Your question could be answered by reading the very first post in this thread.  Do that.  Did you do that?  I am betting not.

Perhaps the title of the thread should really be "Mysterious Bitcoin Transaction" but instead it is "Bitcoin puzzle transaction".

i did not read that bro, sorry if i am wrong,
can you share the link of it, i am interested to read.

but the creater of the bitcoin puzzle transaction had told us, there's no pattern on keys on puzzle wallets no secrets ,but just a random numbers/keys is not it?

This puzzle is very strange. If it's for measuring the world's brute forcing capacity, 161-256 are just a waste (RIPEMD160 entropy is filled by 160, and by all of P2PKH Bitcoin). The puzzle creator could improve the puzzle's utility without bringing in any extra funds from outside - just spend 161-256 across to the unsolved portion 51-160, and roughly treble the puzzle's content density.

If on the other hand there's a pattern to find... well... that's awfully open-ended... can we have a hint or two? Cheesy

I am the creator.

You are quite right, 161-256 are silly.  I honestly just did not think of this.  What is especially embarrassing, is this did not occur to me once, in two years.  By way of excuse, I was not really thinking much about the puzzle at all.

I will make up for two years of stupidity.  I will spend from 161-256 to the unsolved parts, as you suggest.  In addition, I intend to add further funds.  My aim is to boost the density by a factor of 10, from 0.001*length(key) to 0.01*length(key).  Probably in the next few weeks.  At any rate, when I next have an extended period of quiet and calm, to construct the new transaction carefully.

A few words about the puzzle.  There is no pattern.  It is just consecutive keys from a deterministic wallet (masked with leading 000...0001 to set difficulty).  It is simply a crude measuring instrument, of the cracking strength of the community.

Finally, I wish to express appreciation of the efforts of all developers of new cracking tools and technology.  The "large bitcoin collider" is especially innovative and interesting!

Just a reminder for those who joined us here lately ...

This guy, saatoshi_rising, is certainly the creator since he moved the range  161-256 as promised on July 11th 2017

Thnx, by the way has anyone tried using AWS for this?

I think , I have little clue about all this bitcoin wallet

First:
 I try use formula x/2^n

Which means  "n"= the key must be start
                    "x" = the private key

Example for key wallet 60= fc07a1825367bbe->to decimal(1135041350219496382)
                                     =1135041350219496382/2^n
                                     =1135041350219496382/576460752303423488
                                     =1.9689828764301732198782612925924695446155965328216552734375

from there maybe 75 or 25 means some thing about next wallet or how much number length need Smiley
