81  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans are cheap good time to use loans for Investment in btc on: March 14, 2021, 01:07:55 PM
The use of other people's funds in one form or another, always carries a certain danger and I have always opposed this, but there are such moments, especially at a time when quite good forecasts sound, such as for the whole of 2021, I want to take a risk and earn enough money by taking a loan and investing it in the highest rated and most demanded cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum. I believe that many will do just that, But I will refrain, because I am stopped by the fear of losing everything.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How much will ETH be worth ten years from now? on: March 14, 2021, 12:06:21 PM
The fact is that Ethereum can quite realistically take a leading position in the cryptocurrency market. After the London hard fork, the network will switch to the PoS algorithm and this will significantly reduce the commission inside the network, while the transaction speed is already higher than that of bitcoin today. In addition, if the team realizes its plans, then Ethereum can become a deflationary asset. Based on this, even $ 10,000 in 10 years may not be the limit.
83  Economy / Economics / Re: Becoming wealthy and social responsibility on: March 14, 2021, 11:20:35 AM
You are a kind person and God will take care of you. I hope that every rich person can make a certain contribution to society or humanity. This will make the society more stable. Social responsibility should be the most important for the rich. Once the rich people lose their sense of social responsibility, the world will become uneasy, and now I have seen it.
i agree.  very rare that you will see people who have so much think of others.  sometimes, we forget that we are blessed so we can be a blessing to others.

In fact it looks like really wealthy people (like Bill Gates or Mark Zuckerberg) didn't care about poor people. They mostly think about their own wealth and about reducing population of unable to work people (those are old and ill who need to be paid governmental dotation).

I believe that wealth and helping the poor are practically incompatible things, since they are quite rare in the world. The fact is that the majority of millionaires who even do charity work, in any case, in one form or another, thanks to this activity, receive some kind of benefit for themselves or for their business.
84  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which exchange do you use??? on: March 14, 2021, 10:31:08 AM
Very often there is information that there are attempts to hack or real hacking by hackers of different exchanges, and therefore, first of all, I am concerned about the security of my assets. following my choice According to the specified criteria, I choose Binance because I can protect my account in several ways at the same time, while Binance offers double confirmation for any transactions, and Binance also has a fund that guarantees coverage of all losses in case of unforeseen circumstances.
85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China Declares War on Bitcoin (?) on: March 13, 2021, 11:01:36 AM
The only understandable benefit from the actions of the Chinese government is the fight against environmental pollution, but their actions will be successful if they, along with the ban on bitcoin in their country, stop all production and ban internal combustion engines. That's when the Chinese will get clean air. I suppose you understand my irony. In any case, the future Chinese national cryptocurrency is far from being called a "cryptocurrency", since the main feature of cryptocurrencies is decentralization - the absence of any internal or external administrator. And this means that no government authorities, including banks, tax and judicial structures, can influence the transactions of cryptocurrency users.
86  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk again on: March 13, 2021, 10:42:35 AM
Perhaps the current situation will affect people and they will react less to Elon Musk's Tweets. Of course, the abbreviation TBC is very strongly associated with a fraudulent project and it is quite possible that Elon Musk also understands this. There are two options here: either he is trying to reassure readers about his tweets, or maybe he is really speculatively trying to once again raise the excitement around a project that is profitable to him.
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China Controls Bitcoin's Future on: March 13, 2021, 10:20:19 AM
China and chines companies and organizations are already invested a lot to bitcoin and crypto. Also, the blockchain technology is used there more often. But, bitcoin is not centralized and it's not going to be centralized in the future. It's decentralized and can not be controlled by any government including china. Back in 2018-2019 many of bitcoin miners were from china but time after time more countries are entering this industry and china is getting less share than before.
I think that in the future we will witness a very serious confrontation between Bitcoin, that is, the owners of the cryptocurrency, and the government. The fact is that the government always does everything to control people, as well as their income and expenses, but even today Bitcoin is very strong against this. But since today very large capitals are included in Bitcoin, this suggests that in the future Bitcoin will be a reliable storage and will replace banks with great success. Of course, the government will not agree with this, but they have no other choice. Proceeding from this, until such time as they understand and realize this, they will create problems in all sorts of ways.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum to 100k? on: March 10, 2021, 03:36:26 PM
I don't understand though, why is it if ETH's technology is more advanced and has more utility, why is Bitcoin king? Is it only because it has limited supply?  Shocked

After the next update, due in the summer, ethereum will also become a deflationary tool in the cryptocurrency market, thanks to the fact that the network's commissions will burn. Obviously, this will have to increase the value of ETH, but it will still be impossible to reach the price of $1000
Once Vitaly Buterin made a statement that Ethereum, under good circumstances, would be able to reach 10k or 15,000 dollars without any problems. I believe that it is today that Ethereum is taking the path that will yield similar results. But a few years ago, I very much regretted that Ethereum did not have a limited amount, like bitcoin. Today, the ETH team has made the right decision to make Ethereum a deflationary asset. therefore it is more likely to reach $ 10,000 than $ 100k and on that I totally agree with you.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the point of so many cryptocurrencies? on: March 10, 2021, 03:05:54 PM
I believe that it is thanks to the popularity of Bitcoin that a lot of cryptocurrencies appear every year. Initially, the developers' actions were aimed at improving BTC and eliminating shortcomings. For the entire existence of the cryptocurrency market
a very large number of projects appeared and immediately disappeared, which could not even interest investors and other users of the cryptocurrency. But today, many cryptocurrencies survive due to competition with each other, and each of these cryptocurrencies has its own fans, thanks to which these cryptocurrencies do not feel bad in the market, having large trading volumes and volume capitalization. But if we consider cryptocurrency from the point of view of real benefits for society, then cryptography can be used with great success in various sectors of human life, including genetics, bionics, pharmaceuticals, genetic engineering, as well as in space and nuclear industries. Based on this, I am sure that we will observe the emergence of new projects and, accordingly, new cryptocurrencies for a very long time, but only the most popular and promising ones will survive.
90  Economy / Economics / Re: Can the world be without poverty on: March 09, 2021, 05:33:31 PM
The story has repeatedly showed vivid examples of socialism, where the goal is the equality of people, but as it turned out in the socialist country, people were slaves, but the rich only in the government. In addition, rich and poor will always exist even because one can work more and learn better, but to lazy to be lazy and lazy once again.
91  Economy / Economics / Re: 'Cryptocurrency is not legitimate money,' says Nigeria's central bank governor on: March 09, 2021, 05:13:29 PM
As usual, too many people are just missing the point out there. It is only for the community to decide if Bitcoin is legitimate.

Also, banks would always say things like that with cryptocurrency because they see it as their competitor. However, things will still depend on how we deal with it. Despite the negative accusations that banks might throw about cryptocurrency, it still depends on how we trust it.
Many bankers are negative about cryptocurrency, but I am more confident that among their secret capital there is a certain amount of cryptocurrency. They also understand the irreversibility of the process, but at the same time they do not want to recognize this public.
92  Economy / Economics / Re: Economics of perpetual poverty - R. Kiyosaky and the dude on the street on: March 09, 2021, 04:47:28 PM
Rich Dad vs Poor Dad is not actually a guide to become rich, its like a beginner book for a common fella to understand about money, debt and the investments. Because many people thinks that they can become rich someday when they are getting salary but it is not possible unless they become CEO of Google or big companies like that.
I believe that wealth is a relative thing, because each person has their own framework for wealth. Someone lacks several hundreds of millions of dollars, while others will need tens of thousands of dollars for a quiet life. At least you can start your own small business and enjoy life.

New York Attorney General Shuts Down Bitfinex And Tether Trading in State; Groups Agree $18.5 Million Fine

“Tether’s claims that its virtual currency was fully backed by U.S. dollars at all times was a lie," New York Attorney General Letitia James said as she shut down its trading in the state.

The State of New York shut down the the digital currency trading platform Bitfinex Tuesday, accusing it of hiding losses and deceiving clients, in a move that could have significant implications for bitcoin prices.

New York Attorney General Letitia James said Bitfinex claimed its so-called 'stablecoin', Tether, was backed by one-for-one holdings in U.S. dollars. However, James said iFinex, the Bitfinex platform operator "made false statements about the backing of the “tether” stablecoin, and about the movement of hundreds of millions of dollars between the two companies to cover up the truth about massive losses", which it pegged at $850 million.

iFiniex, Tether and related entities were ordered to cease trading and pay $18.5 million in penalties. The groups were also told to increase their reporting and transparency with respect to Tether's U.S. dollar backing.

....

Controversial case emerging in new york where bitfinex was fined and tether is now banned.

I don't understand criticism towards tether's dollar backing. It may not be 100% backed at all times. But it enjoys a far greater backing than every asset on markets aside from bitcoin and precious metals.

It is hard to believe new york can seriously commit to fair review of cryptocurrencies when they ban tether on kneejerk reactionary whims rather than hard evidence.
Given everything that you have already said, it is confidently assumed that in the near future, hiding behind the government, New York is unlikely to become a center for cryptocurrency. But if we take into account the migration of institutional capital on the cryptocurrency market, I believe that there is still a chance of success.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP to hit $589 on February 30th. on: March 08, 2021, 03:43:46 PM
I believe that it is high time to close this topic, since the time of February 30 has long passed, and the Ripples have not even reached 0.5% of the named amount. Today, the administration of the company must solve the problem with lawsuits, and then it will be possible to talk about the prospects.
95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee charged with fraud over cryptocurrency on: March 07, 2021, 05:03:09 PM
This news isn't new at all... On October 6 he got arrested for some crimes to the economy while he was bumping his coins:

https://news.bitcoin.com/john-mcafee-arrested-23-million-crypto-pumping/

Is fun because maybe Elon musk ends this way too in some years, is the price to pay to be part of the party.
If Elon Musk also speculates with his tweets, then it is quite possible that he will have the same story, because once he already influenced the Bitcoin and Doge coin market, although it is unknown whether this happened on purpose or not.
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC vs GOLD on: March 07, 2021, 04:48:59 PM

Bitcoin is digital gold and that means it's faster. I can move it to a thousand places in seconds. He is stronger. I can pawn a hundred million dollars for three hours in Japan on a Saturday afternoon.

Considering the fact that Bitcoin is an infinitely hard commodity while gold can be produced by people with sufficient motivation, I realized that in the long run, Bitcoin is a harder commodity than gold.
The fact is that when trading gold, a trader does not carry metal with buckets from seller to buyer, but also operates with numbers in the market. In addition, today Bitcoin is mostly used as a speculative asset, while gold for many is a real storage. Undoubtedly in the future, Bitcoin will also achieve the same capabilities, but today the differences between Bitcoin and gold are significant.
97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How way you choose way to saving Bitcoin ? on: March 07, 2021, 04:36:14 PM
The fact is that I do not have so much bitcoin that I can store it in several wallets, and buying a hardware wallet is too expensive for me. But nevertheless, I prefer to use the  blockchain..info wallet. At the very least, I consider this resource safe enough to store my Bitcoin, thanks to the multi-layer security system and individual barcode. In addition, the safety and security of his funds depends on the user himself.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is your bull run profit 2021 on: March 06, 2021, 02:46:50 PM
I believe that there is a very vivid example of very good profit making thanks to the AMEPAY project. A few months ago, I bought this coin at $ 0.005, and today I had the opportunity to sell at $ 0.14. Over the past six months, quite a few projects have shown good results, thanks to which cryptocurrency users have made good profits. And for this period there is an opportunity to buy this coin again and wait for the price of $ 0.3.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will Binance be the next Ethereum? on: March 06, 2021, 02:30:19 PM
The fact is that today the main problem for many users is high fees, but over time, the throughput of Ethereum will definitely improve. it is the Ethereum 2.0 update, which will take more than one period, to improve the scalability of the network. When this happens, many users and new product developers will not look for other platforms and will switch or return to erc20.
100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a Lifeboat on: March 04, 2021, 03:16:04 PM
It seems to me that Satoshi Nakamoto originally planned to create such a cryptocurrency, which acted as a reliable storage for every person and was in demand all over the world. Only at this stage, Bitcoin is still a speculative asset, although at this time, Bitcoin is preferred by many more investors than before. After a time, when the capitalization of Bitcoin will increase several times, the price of Bitcoin will be more stable and, accordingly, this will confirm the appointment of Bitcoin as a reliable storage and real salvation.
