Specs (all used parts mainly off craigslist, prices in CANADIAN dollars)

running claymore dual mining in eth only mode  at 54.4 mh/s top end. + nice hash on CPU at like 50cents a day but hey its profit.

2600k+asus maxmimus 4 extreme w/ 8gb ram = 320 bucks-craigslist (overclocked to 4.6 so far on air no prob could prolly do 4.

gtx 1060 6gb evga ssc=300 craigslist (from mobo cpu guy in a bundle) 80% power, -100 clock +875 mem

gtx 1070 asus 6gb strix OC =500 craiglist 80% power, -100 clock +675 mem

Samsung 256 ssd (was supposed to be a kingston 120bg ssd i got for 60 on amazon but it was delayed i wanted it running, so i pulled one of my samsungs out of my main gaming rig and got mining too lazy to redo the instal, atleast until i get better with linux )

every single spare fan i could find  XD lets say 30 bucks worth.

potato cpu cooler since the 212 evo that came with the mobo was too tall. 15 bucks

3u 21in deep used server chassis = 35 bucks

PSU is a 750W EVGA P2 platinum PSU that i got on sale for 120 way back for my main rig, which i downgraded to a 650 P2 since it only uses 450W max. =120

Total cost 1350 Canadian Rupples. 54.4 mh/s , doing about 190 $ a month as of posting.

i have risers on the way and am watching out for more GPUs. il eventually gut the entire fron end of the chassis and mount 6 GPUs ( max for this mobo ) along the front with push pull 140-180 fans rather than the random assortment of 120s i have just sitting in there.

Temps on the GPUs are in low 60s at 40 % fans or so, the Red Green style 120 fan cooling is working for now at least 2600k is at 4.4ghz @70c with potato cooler, will put a half decen lowpro cooler on it eventually.

let me know what you think, appreciate any tips, im using awesomeminer for management, i have 2 960s in sli in my main gaming rig, only have a 1080 60hz panel so they max it out all day playing elite dangerous. saving up for a 3440 x1440 panel and will prolly put the 1070 in the main rig at that point. when im not using the gaming rig i let it run equihash at 280 sol/s. 6600k at 4.5ghz, 32 gigs gskill 2400, maximus 8 hero, samsung850 evo 256 gb (os) 2x WDblacks, one for steam library i never play, one for backups of basically all my crap.

Hope im doing well for a first timer. let me know have been dealing with health issues and getting back into DIY PC shenanigans has helped a lot. cant wait to find more GPUs to finish my rig and if the market all crashes thats fine, power is cheap where i am, il put the rig back towards folding@home.
