This isn't a solution. And there isn't even a problem in that regard that needs to be solved.
It must be a joke.

Isn't any currency that can be transferred electronically virtualized to some extent? Being virtual does not affect its use in reality.

Nice graph.
However the question is: What happens in Bitcoins Heaven?

If I could vote I'd vote for Bitcoin Megastore.
However I also like the all-blue logo from the insulting robot.

Earning interest on frozen funds seems to be part of their business model. Avoid paypal, use bitcoin.

If I'm not mistaken, the cap for Novacoin is technically 2 billion, although the point is that it doesn't reach that for a long time. Not too sure about how many exist atm. Technically yes, but emission is very slow, ~ 1200 coins per day generated by network. Thank you for the information + the coin!

But if you want wider adoption, companies are needed to make bitcoins easier to buy, and keep secure.
Paypal is the very last entity I would be trusting to keep anything secure. I think most would trust it more than the new bitcoin businesses, that are much more susceptible to hacks than Paypal. Now, I have no need for this, because my bitcoins are secure in cold storage and desktop clients. But you have to think about people outside of this forum, who are going to make up the majority of bitcoin users. What does this mean? Handing funds over to rip-off criminals out of fear they get stolen by hackers? No thanks. People first and foremost need to learn to use their brain.

C'mon guys.
PayPal? Really?
Aren't we supposed to be using Bitcoin INSTEAD of them?
I can't find anything cool in this ripp-off business either. I'm so happy bitcoin is here for relief.

I understand that most users only stay temporarily in the newbie section and that it would mean work to sort posts into categories. On the other hand since newbies have to do their first activities here it would be great to have some structure to guide them. At least rudimentary.

Seems interesting but also a bit complicated.
Is there a short summary of novacoins most important attributes?

Hi I'm brand new but I already have a suggestion.. What about subcategories in the newbie-section? That's because I find it quite overwhelming with so many different threads. If nobody answers quickly they only stay for minutes on the first page, too. Even few subcatergories (for example: "mining-related", "marketplace/giveaways", "general discussion") could very much improve this and make reading and posting more enjoyable.

It's back up to $158 but of course it went down to $50 so anyone smart enough to sell and buy back woud have 3x as many btc and 3x as much wealth if you timed it right.
I think that's a little bit of strategy + a little bit of luck. But honestly, nothing to do with "smartness". I think that's a little bit of strategy + a huge load of luck. FTFY
