Also it looks like markets are beginning to react on the new upgrades and news.

Are you blind holder? How many markets do you see? There is only one exchange - Shittopia and CHC price is 0.21 USD  Grin

Its on Novaexchange also...

Most of them are anonymous, and I can't really blame them with all this BS you guys spread.

And here is the proof that CHC is scamcoin!
Their main developer left and now he is telling us the truth - someone behind the scenes is using CHC community and devs like Brakmic to make Pump and Dump money from CHC!

Just read what Brakmic is saying!

https://steemit.com/chaincoin/@brakmic/farewell

Dear readers,

Today, I've decided to leave the Chaincoin Project.

After having waited long enough it became clear to me that in future still only a few members of the Core Team will be publicly known by their real names and faces. As you already know I have been visible to you from the very beginning. And I think that when someone does an important work for others the customers have a right to know who does the work and who is responsible if something goes wrong. I think I should not invest too much time in persuading you that developing software which aims to replace fiat money is something of utmost importance to its users and investors.

I've joined this project without forcing any of the older members to reveal their identities but I was clear from the very beginning that I am absolutely against keeping own identity cloaked. And I've communicated this very clearly in our internal discussions. I have also refused to become the public face on the Chaincoin website which was offered to me in July, because I would have only accepted this if the complete team would have shown their real names and faces.

It is no secret that I sometimes behave like a stone when it comes to certain principles that are near and dear to me. And user satisfaction and professional transparency are two of them. Of course I've never tried to force my philosophy on others but an ideal is useless if you are not ready to fight for it.

My personal fight was to help develop the best possible Cryptocurrency for our users and investors. I have thought that during the future progress and growing success of our software other members of the Team will understand why the Team should be visible as a whole. It would tremendously help raise the trust in our project and make it look more seriously. You can't expect other people to take you seriously if they don't even know your first name! You couldn't even go as a joke. And you should not wonder if they think you are scam.

However, no matter how successful we were nothing had changed. I've also stopped talking about it, because in the end it's everyone's personal freedom to show it's face on the internet or not. And if you add sloppy communication and sudden absences (for days) of some important members then one can easily anticipate that working under such conditions isn't the right way for people with my philosophy. It was too much of everything. Sometimes I didn't even know who does what because it seemed that all do something and in the end no one anything. You can't see any faces, only nicknames.

Please, don't get me wrong: I have complete understanding if someone wants to remain hidden. No discussion here. This is one of the fundamental freedoms and I have only to respect it.

However, working in a project like this, where money flows continuously and trust in developers is vital, demands certain sacrifices. And simply spoken: I don't want to be the only public face that helps in maintaining and raising trust in Chaincoin anymore.

Either we do this as a Team, because our users and investors deserve it, or I have to leave the Team, because they deserve at least to know the truth why I don't want to work on Chaincoin anymore.

And at the end, if you allow me, I'd like to clarify a few things regarding my former colleague Arz Bhatia a.k.a nx85:

I like him very much as a person and I truly respect his work. Check out his website for more details.
We both were the public faces of Chaincoin, in different segments (coding, marketing, website, product management etc.)
We had a close, open and very friendly communication.
We could say everything to each other, without having any reservations. Full trust, full honesty, no crybaby drama.
We had no unfriendly discussion before we have decided to leave Chaincoin.
We have left Chaincoin separately and without having planned it together.
From my perspective, we both were partially jaded because of several things in Chaincoin and the atmosphere too wasn't very helping.
But the things that have happened didn't happen, because we didn't like each other anymore.
Any gossip one can now find on various forums is unfounded. However, gossips serve certain purpose: they're emotional equivalents of restrooms for releasing some steam.
We were no freelance devs as some people have written in certain forums. We were simply Core Team members that had joined the Team based on personal motives.
Arz' duties were manifold and one of them was to coordinate the Team as product manager. He wasn't just a dev. This was my role. I was only a dev.
We did not leave Chaincoin a bit sooner than expected as you also can read in some forums. There were no plans to make us leave the team anytime soon. Quite the opposite. For example, I was already developing a prototype for a mobile wallet for Android. And Arz knew it from the very beginning. We had certain plans and discussed many upcoming features for core wallet, mobile wallet etc.
However, I've stopped any development of the mobile wallet, for obvious reasons. And Arz also released his work to the public in the Slack channel.

Personally, I couldn't care less what people not involved in Chaincoin might write about us in future, but because I'm already clarifying things I'll do this now. So everyone will have a chance to read the upcoming gossips with a grain of salt.

And again: this has nothing to do with hurt feelings, egos, or anything in this area. It's simply a culmination of things that could only be controlled for so much time. Sooner or later people will get enough of some things and will make decisions that could potentially make lots of people unhappy.

However, working in an open source project that affects the well-being of so many demands open faces and clear names. This is the way how I want to work for other people. This is the only way for me. I will never ever accept anything that violates this principle. I did it once, with Chaincoin, because I was too optimistic and have hoped that future success will persuade other people to join me in openness and accountability. I was wrong. And I am very sorry about this.

I wish you all the best.

Everything I have done I did it for you, dear users and investors.

Good bye!

How is this proof? There are still 9 other devs working on it. Brakmic was freelance...

I found a good excerpt on basic tips on investing in microcaps! Hope this helps. Happy trading!  Smiley

Quote:

"Picking Out Microcaps 101.

Microcaps have proved to be the most profitable coins for me, and the process by which I pick them out is pretty simple.

www.coinmarketcap.com: Click view all. Order by market cap in $. Scroll all the way down to the coins with a smaller market cap than $250,000 (these are the ones that can be the mega-winners over time). Note down all the coins below this mark with a low to medium coin supply i.e less than 50m. For all of these, also note down their 24H volume in $. Cross out the coins with a lower than 2% market cap to volume ratio (if X has a market cap of $100k, it’s 24H volume should be $2000 or more). This is simply to filter the microcaps that are getting a decent amount of attention. From these remaining coins, cross out all the coins that have a far greater total supply than their circulating supply (this is usually indicative of a large premine, and fuck that noise — there’s plenty of coins to pick up without this added liability). The ones you’re left with (there’s usually quite a few) are the ones you need to do further research on.

2. Head over to Bitcointalk, and read through the announcement threads of every single coin that you have left on your list. Make a note of the level of activity in the thread, the number of pages it contains, the last time there actually was communication on there (some coins will be dead ones), and get a general feel for the community of each coin. Read through the announcement itself to find out where the coin has come from and where it is heading — look for roadmaps, Slack and telegram channels, and active devs. Have a look at their websites and explorers. Remove coins from the list of remaining ones that do not have at least a decent standard for all of the above (room for improvement can be a profitable thing).

3. You should now have a smallish number of coins on your list. These are the ones you’re looking to pick up, but whittle the number down even further by doing further research on how they are currently trading. Fuck anything that trades only on Yobit, remove it immediately. Of the other exchanges, CoinExchange, NovaExchange and Cryptopia are great for microcaps. Look at the charts for each of these coins, and spot accumulation patterns: contricted ranges with mid to high volume; spikes of high buying volume etc.

Another research tool is the Block Explorer for these coins. Some may have rich lists or largest wallet tabs. Keep tabs on movements within these addresses. Are the largest wallets getting larger over time or are they being depleted? Screenshot the top 25 richest addresses and then screenshot the top 25 again a few days later. Compare your lists. Are these coins being accumulated?

4. Take the plunge and buy the ones you’re most confident in. It may take you weeks to accumulate a decent amount of any single coin. And it most likely will take months before you start seeing serious returns on them, but it’s worth it if you have the patience." -end quote

I agree on several of the points except marketcap smaller than $250K. IMO less than $1 mill is a better number to be considered microcap, but the you will miss some great coins with bright future with the potential to x100, like SafeX.

Just my 2 cents. But I think that it may be possible for Unify to be worth more than $1 by this time next year. With the POS switch, new website, aggressive social media campaign being started next month after switch, strong & helpful community, other goals along with the Unify marketplace by next year, there is a possibility that Unify could go up to a maximum of $5 by next year as long as we stay on schedule. That would be nice!

Yeah, $5 isnt impossible this time next year. If the devs continue to work like they do the value will increase with it. The marketcap is still micro and for the price to be $5 the marketcap would be about $80 mill. This is nothing in the cryptoworld.

Number 13 on biggest gainers list on coinmarket cap within 24 hour period! Very good! Keep it up Unify! Consistency day by day is key!  Cheesy

This is just the beginning. Soon we will get a new ATH I hope:)

Unify and its community would like to take this moment and show appreciation to its supporters of this project and to its traders. Thank you! You're patience has paid off and now the wait is over! Now it's time to move this project full speed ahead!

Stay tuned for POS switch and brand new website, in next few days,  and September when we get listed in new exchanges. And good luck to all crypto traders out there. Make good decisions and trade responsibly.   Smiley

Do you know which exchanges?

Hundreds of coins had had a pump and dump in mid july. Did max own all the coins?? I mean, just get over it. What can you do about it anyway? It wasnt Max that dumped, but everyone else that was in panic... I get that most people are new to this cryptoworld, but things here are very volatile and this happens to almost every coins, even Bitcoin....

I never accused Max as the sole dumper of CHC.  It's totally OK with me if other people dumped their coins.  If Max dumped his while urging his followers to HOLD, then that's called hypocrisy and scamming.  Surely you can see the difference between a casual investor and a leader of a movement/scheme who would ban his followers for admitting to selling CHC while he could be the whale that dumps CHC behind his followers' back.  I'm not blaming him for the crash of CHC.  I'm exposing him as a scammer who does not practice what he preaches and using his followers to fatten his pockets.

I can agree with the point that if he sold while he told everyone else to hold he would be scumbag, but its naive to think that he didn't sell atleast 20 % of his holdings -  he always says "When its green: sell some of it to get back your investment." I can also see why Max don't want to show his history on Cryptopia because if he sold even 1 CHC he would never hear the end of it because he said on discord that he did some swingtrading.

Honestly I don't see the point of pursuing this any further. Nothing good can come out of it. Even if he dumped his coins while he told everyone to hold you can't do anything about it. Max revived CHC and he's still in the game. Everyone wants to move the coin further and let the past be the past.

Hi everyone.   It's obvious from the posts above mine that Max Lee is trying to fix his image of a scammer.  I had a conversation/discussion with someone named Max Lee in the chain coin slack earlier tonight.  It sounds like him, but there is no way to prove that.  The screenshot of the conversation is posted here:  http://stitchandshare.com/iVk56ww9gwU

Read and judge for yourself whether he is a scammer.  Notice he kept dodging the question why he has not shown his cryptopia sell/buy log to prove his critics wrong that he did not dump the coins he preached his followers to buy and hold.

Regardless of adding to bittrex or not. Cryptopia would be the next logic step. Anyways price will reach $1 dollar the next few days with so many new investors. Shame its on Nova or we could reach $10.

FYI this coins will se some gains in value in the next weeks. Max Lee from Highoncoins who has about 400K subscribers on YT has looked into the coin and recommended it on his recent video and on his discord group. Thats why the price is up from yesterday and price will continue to rise the next week.

Hello everyone, I have such a problem with Masternode
At the stage where we write in the console "Masternode start", I get this text (not capable masternode: Could not find suitable coins!) Coins on my wallet have 1004 coins CHC. Who faced, I will be grateful for help

Did you send 1004 coins to the wallet? I think you need to send exactly 1000 chc.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CHC] ChainCoin - Cryptopia & Novaexchange - Required update 0.9.3.0 on: August 17, 2017, 06:55:58 PM
The way to deal with CHC (psychologically) is to put aside the alienation and get on with the fascination.  I've got my masternodes generating CHC, and it is fun to watch the coins come in.

I have a Windows-based consolidated wallet with copies of the private keys from my five masternodes running on Amazon AWS.

With the Windows-based wallet, I get the pop-up notifications whenever coins come in from any of the nodes, so I just leave the Windows wallet up 24X7.  The Address field shows which masternode the coins came from.

Right now I'm running the latest 0.9.3.0 (beta) so I'm ready when the consensus rules change so that masternodes get 45% of the block reward earnings.

So, instead of fretting and panicking about the price, I'm kind of saving up for another masternode.  Right now I have 471 CHC which is both masternode earnings plus a few extra coins from trading on Cryptopia.  So while the value of the coin is low, it is more a game to see how many masternodes I can get running.  Eventually, I think we'll look back on this as a "fun" time when price wasn't a big concern.

We all need to do this: don't worry or take it so seriously.  Take some money and buy a masternode, or buy another one if you already have one.  It is so inexpensive that everyone can afford one.  If we all do this with a sense of fun instead of a sense of dread, we'll eventually lock up enough coins for the price to start moving upwards.

I have only 1 masternode and it has been running for 13 days now the total income for 13 days is 4 coins which does not equate to what the http://chc.masternodes.pro/ website says. So if i had started with current reward i should have had 8.8 coins but i have 4. When i started the masternode it was showing 1 coin a day. I have no idea what the reasons are but i assume the nodes are not rewarded equally which does not make that system very fair in a way. Please share some insight if you do have one .

I think its random. Over time you should get what you are supposed to. Some of my nodes can go a week without payment, but suddenly I get 6 coins in one day.

I don't wanna play on your nerves guys, but CHC is dead. There is no supply. You can hodl it, but it's not enough for it to bounce. Also, many people are trapped and will be jumping out of the coin once it reaches breakeven point.

How can the coin be dead when the devs are working on it? I get that you have sold and dont want it to succeed, but the coin is very much alive. There is a hodlgroup, 3 different discord groups and 2 different slack groups.

Hello everyone. I'm sorry that I was away for this long, just had personal issues to deal with.

For those who are shocked to see the pricing this low - it might be caused by many different reasons. Maybe it's because I wasn't too active on the coin lately and people started to be afraid that I'll run away. However, I'm still here and will try to do my best to get this coin worth more.

As for right now, the plan is to get it from PoW to PoS and we're currently in progress of that.

Good to hear from you! Smiley
