1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is going down? on: January 10, 2018, 08:54:55 PM
It's just like stock, there is up and down time. Maybe this down time is a good opportunity to buy in.
I think since bitcoin reached 18000, it's hard to push it higher. A lot of money stream out to find some cheaper but valuable coins. Capital always wants quick money.

3  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Online Dating on: January 09, 2018, 05:33:50 PM
Most of the online dating is motivated by either one night sex or bilking money. If you want to do the online dating and you want a good relationship, you need to be very careful. Safety is always the first concern. You must be very patient if you want to date with this person.
4  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How can you become an important person in society? on: January 09, 2018, 05:04:57 PM
I think the most important thing is how much you can change people's life.
If you are very rich, such as Buffett, you might be very famous, but it does not matter to most people.
If you can change people's habit, such as Mark Zuckerberg, you will have the impact in society.
5  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why are people scared of taxes? on: January 04, 2018, 05:22:03 PM
I am not scared of taxes. What I really concern is the taxes I paid is not used on my family and the place I live. The tax may goes to many unreasonable ways. I don't want my money wasted. For example, I paid a lot of taxes, but my kids cannot get good education, and the road outside my house is so broken. So where is my money going to?
6  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Database of stolen coin addresses on: January 03, 2018, 10:36:58 PM
The cryptocurrency address could be generated very randomly, which means the thief can generate a lot of addresses to transfer the money, and the old address is just dumped and will be never used again. Unless, you are using some coins are not totally decentralized, which is more easy to track the trace.
7  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How Putin became the richest man in the world on: January 03, 2018, 03:47:06 PM
I don't believe he is so rich, but I think he is really a powerful man. I don't believe the money is so attractive to him. He is much more obsessed with power. He had controlled Russia since 2000.
What he wants to do is to make the Russia strong again, that's why he wants to suppress those super rich guys.
8  Other / Politics & Society / Re: do you think that corruption can be deleted totally in your country? on: January 02, 2018, 09:20:04 PM
I don't think it can be deleted totally, it could be legitimized or hidden. People are always greedy. As cryptocurrency is more and more popular, government officials can accept bitcoin or eth for bribery which makes it more difficult to track down the corruption. In the past I need a case to hold 1 millions dollars cash, but how about 100 bitcoin now?
9  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Master Degree Important? on: December 21, 2017, 04:10:36 AM
It depends on what kind of job you are going to take. Many jobs such as developer, sales man, master degree is not a must.
For some jobs, they only open to master or above. Some company may use the master degree as measurement for promotion, but in most of the jobs, a master degree does not mean "you are a master in this area".
10  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Artificial intelligence. on: December 20, 2017, 07:44:14 PM
I don't think AI will become terminator of human life, but, in reality, AI will eat a lot of job opportunities.
Think about it.
If the taxi can drive itself, the drivers will disappear in the future.
If the computer can make better decision than human beings, like trading, trader will disappear.
AI can terminate job opportunities.
11  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Hypnosis on: December 20, 2017, 05:26:19 AM
Hypnosis can help me more relax and focusing. It works better on kids than adults.
I know a boy who is good at some sport, but he is super nervous in competition. After some hypnosis, he can more focus and more energy in the competition. His performance really improved a lot.
12  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin vs other cryptocurrencies. on: December 15, 2017, 06:19:54 AM
I don't think any other cryptocurrencies value could really catch up bitcoin price. The train already passed. But there still a lot of opportunities for other crpytocurrencies, since blockchain technology is so useful in many ways. And now the stock market and real estate market is already quite high, a lot of money would come to cryptocurrencies, there are a lot of coins are in the low price.
13  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Money can buy happiness? on: December 15, 2017, 06:01:56 AM
Not all kinds of happiness could be bought by money, for example, you cannot buy the girl you love and you cannot buy a new life.
But money still can bring you happiness. Buying a big house, traveling the whole world and retiring early, all these happy dreams, would require a lot of money.
14  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to deal with stress? on: December 15, 2017, 05:48:06 AM
In many times, I just try to ignore the problem happened around me, this is how I escape from stress.
Doing sports can really help me reduce the stress. Sometimes, I go for light music.
But the most useful way for me to reduce the stress is sleeping. One sleep can make me forget a lot of problems.
15  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to get girls when you're not handsome? on: December 13, 2017, 07:41:29 PM
If you are rich enough, that's not a problem, girls will come for your money (or your cryptocurrency) but not you.
You still can get girls if you are not handsome. You can lower your expectation, you can get a girl who is not so pretty.
Or maybe you are just a lucky guy.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Innosilicon A4+ setup tutorial on: December 09, 2017, 08:13:30 PM
ok, any idea how to change the fan setting on this A4+ machine?
the fan is always operating at 100%, and the sound is like plane ...

all other asic miners, antminer, baikal miner, could change the fan setting and speed ... at least I would not have 80 db plane in my room...

but this innosilicon A4+ is a noise beast !!  Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed
17  Other / Politics & Society / Re: benefits of meditation on: December 08, 2017, 05:36:06 AM
Meditation can help you focus and calm down. Every time I am in a struggling status, I use meditation to help me relax before go to bed and it really help me to get a good dream. I use meditation to remind me something to do, so I can really remember things in the later.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Will ETH ever follow Bitcoin's rise? on: December 08, 2017, 03:21:03 AM
It seems that this post would be best suited for the "Altcoin Discussion" thread. Here is the link to it:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=67.0

However, my answer is YES, Ethereum will surely follow Bitcoin's rise. It's the 2nd largest cryptocurrency for a reason. The technology behind it, specifically the smart contracts, has advantages over bitcoin and it is already also gaining massive adoption. It's a coin that is easy to speculate that will rise in value over time.

At the peak several months he ago  , ETH market cap was a bit more than half of bitcoin market cap, while currently Market cap of ETH is just over 1/6 of bitcoin
So totally agree , ETH could really reach the price at least double to 900 dollars or 1000 dollars, I think it is just about time , and of course , patience
I also think the same price scope could apply to litecoin , too

Just waiting for people continue to sell tech stocks from Nasdq and buy more ETH Smiley
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: BAIKAL Giant X10 brief introduction --Giant X10 utility download link on: December 08, 2017, 02:53:40 AM
So people are actually buying this used, worthless junk from Baikal? Is it some sort of masochism? You know they are over-priced and treat their customers pretty badly. Their equipment will never ROI, I think the way they treated their costumers means the end of their company.

I totally agree about treating customers badly, but over-priced and never ROI? For a 7 algo asic, show me something of better value! I'm currently on track for ROI in another 20 days (32 days in total).

OK, it's not as powerful as a D3, but since non X11 coins provide 4+ times more profit currently, it's a better ROI. As for the future, who the hell knows!  Smiley

C.

Yep , absolutely agree that this little machine is nothing about over priced or bad value, at least for now and in at least several months.
25-30 days ROI is still best in class among all the asic miners in the market, while all other miners are struggling for ROI over 6 months, including GPU miners ...
What can you expect? ROI in 5 days? Why would baikal even sell that if they can keep 5 days ROI?
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Baikal Giant X10 on: December 08, 2017, 01:22:32 AM
Are these made in Vietnam? Nearly everyone listed has a Vietnamese name..

Notice the top hasher has around a 100 machines.

Maybe those Vietnamese people have a connection like asicminermarket. Who knows anymore, unless you can speak their language, don't expect special treatments. Sort of like when i go to a Chinese restaurant, and I see people come in after me that speaks their language, they get served better/more attention... lol
Actually the first person in this forum who had received the baikal x10 miner is in Malaysia. Although both Malaysia and Vietnam are in the south east Asia, Vietnam is even more near to China, so it does not feel strange that all those Vietnamese miners got miners way early than the rest of the world , and make tons of money ahead of us

Although it would make more sense for baikal to balance the delivery strategy instead of current the near the early Strategy... but anyway they do not care , right? So what can we do except waiting ?
