1060/6Gb 920 (Alexis78 910Mh)
1080: 1530Mh 189W (KlausT 1180 same OC)

But the problem is with running on many GPU rig (6 in that case). Receive cuda_errors, while each GPU one by one runs smoothly.

Hi, natan069 has posted a solution:

OUT OF MEMORY ERROR SOLUTION:

increase windows memory pagefile!!

I increased from 16gb to 32gb the windows pagefile, and it worked.

And I've added more detailed instructions to the first post of this thread.

Please, try it.
The problem is that many rigs have 60gb ssd. I can't make 48gb swap for 8gpus with them.

how can i reduce the number of CPU threads used in the mining software ?

Usually it is "-t" setting. -t 3 for three threads for example

Well trading at Cryptopia seems to have resumed.
Trading is resumed, but coins are still nowhere.  Angry

Actually - now neoscrypt is for 1080 also. Almost 2 times performance of 1060 which it should be.

But the problem is with running on many GPU rig (6 in that case). Receive cuda_errors, while each GPU one by one runs smoothly.

P.S. More info in miner window would be great. For example the intensity used by default.
405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Making 2000 usd / month on: December 22, 2017, 12:28:41 PM
I do not know how you use your OS. I have Windows 10 with the latest updates weighing 17GB. And notice this on the work computer, and not on the rig.
That's all is clear but anyway there are a lot of reasons to have an optimal 120Gb drive for ordinary 8*GPU rig. It is possible to have 60Gb but not very comfortable, if you use many miners, some kind of algo switching software, frequently experiment with drivers etc.
If the guy want's to get 2000/month he will definetly need that Smiley
But he can also run 8Gb flash with prepared linux .... and forget about 2000/month  Grin
406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Making 2000 usd / month on: December 22, 2017, 10:30:52 AM
a total of 18 gpus and I don't make make anywhere near 2k
It just means that you mine wrong way.

Hello everybody, I've been doing crypto currency for 4 months only, but I've already understood a lot, I have no problems for mining on video cards, but for the first time I encountered a problem while mining Yenten, I tried different miners, I do not get results, I can not adjust Miner, can anyone write in detail what is the correct miner to download, how to configure. 408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: December 22, 2017, 07:55:53 AM
1 thread does same hashrate like alexis miner +- 0,5%
Of cause it is the same, as it is alexis work with some compilation tricks. The difference is the same as between different compilations of alexis miner. Most of the time Cuda7.5 is the fastest but with some algos/GPU cuda8 or cuda9 could be faster. Alexis is capable of running 7000-7200 at 200-215W

With more power (90TDP of Gamerock's) alexis can easily do 7400-7500

Sp_ again sell fools his "improvements", which are not visible even on screenshot's. But I can't blame him - there are a lot of bensam1231's here.  Grin
409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: December 20, 2017, 09:19:46 PM
Slightly off topic, but if one were to be building more nvidia rigs today, is there no major disadvantage to simply going with 1080tis, assuming recent expectations for average profits? Perhaps considerations to be made with respect to the GDDR5X and currently profitable algos? 1070/ti may allow for more versatility in that regard. My op currently only has only 1060s because at time they were the most effective hash/$ card at the time, not counting the sold out AMD models. Based on the current retail pricing (in Canada at least), it seems that profitability projections for almost all nvidia cards scales linearly with the price. That being said, by going with the more expensive cards you save money on other rig hardware when scaling up and increase your output density, while better preserving future card value. Curiously, assuming you maximise cards per rig to the fullest, 1060s (3gb) actually do seem to still edge out as the most effective $/hash assuming resell value is not a factor, but I believe it's negligible enough that it does not outweigh the benefits of the higher end cards.
Real off. Sp just gathered enough money to buy ONE 1080ti. And you are asking about the farm  Grin

The djezo solver is pretty fast and opensource. I have already done a euqilhash mod that's +10%
Bla bla. How many sols on 1060/6?

1. I am trying to find the optimal OC settings for these cards, while stable. I've heard to try and OC each card individually. How can I do this in afterburner and save the profile, so that on a reboot all of the cards use those individual settings? It seems like in afterburner, when you individually OC the cards, the profile does not save for all cards, only one.

2. Does anyone have any OC settings for these cards so I can baseline off of?

3. The 3 GPUS at the end of my rig are a lot hotter than the others. (these cards just spit the hot exhaust above and get sucked into the ones after it) What is the best way to Exhaust some heat away? Put a fan above the rig and exhaust the hot air upwards? Or blow cool air towards the front of the rig(the front of the cards).

Thanks!!

The Ti SC Black edition series is my favorite 1080 and 1080TI. They run perfectly, cool easily and overclock great. When you install Afterburner it will automatically link the GPUs together so that any changes you make will be applied to all of them. Since they are all the same, it will be much easier to overclock them than if you had different models. The Tis usually run ok with +100-+125 on core and +75-+100 mem. I always max out the power draw to 120%, then apply my overclocks. After I find a good setting, I slowly reduce the power limit until my hashrate goes down. No matter the brand, the 1080 chip can run about 2100 core and 4700 on the memory. The Tis can run around 2050 core and 5100 memory. My goal is to slowly apply the overclocks until I can get the card to hit those speeds. Above that, they start to crash.
You have very slow memory clocks. 5400-5600... is usual for  them

Best algo/coin for nvidia now ? ( for day profit ) .

Alot of options now. Many coins give a good profit. Did you try bitcoin gold?

but you do not offer sp optimized version )
He can't. No open-source miner to steal improve from.  Grin

Now wanted to withdraw their BTC with stocks.exchange
Transaction Fee:0.004 BTC HA-HA-HA LOL Why so little... Can have them make a commission of 0.05 BTC.. Shocked Shocked Shocked

It's 0.002 BTC withdrawal fee for me, how can it be double to you? Anyway 37$ is still unacceptable.

It s possible to buy another crypto, like XSH (or any other with low withdrawal fee) and transfer to another
exchange with not so high fee.
No it is not possible. XSH is only traded on stocks like ITNS. The biggest coin that can be moved to another exchange is ETH. But look at buy orders and volume there - you will need to week or two to move let's say 1BTC. I sold XSH earned BTC - I had many times more BTC than ALL ETH buy orders.
So there is no way not to pay 0.002BTC on stocks to withdraw.

Then split it to many coins cheaper than BTC like LTC, BCN, etc. It's also good to check the withdrawal fee of the coins you are about to deposit on any exchange.
Oh really. Can you count people?
LTC-BTC -  Only 19LTC for sale at high price even 10 times more than actual
ETH-BTC - Only 9ETH for sale at high price even 10 times more than actual
BCH-BTC - Only 2BCH for sale at high price  even 10 times more than actual

And how am I supposed to move 1BTC with all this? So there is no way to do it.

414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: December 20, 2017, 10:06:16 AM
Mmm some of these markets are really juicy, glad Nicehash is still down.

Electronium does $4.63 per day on the gtx 1060 with the sp-mod..

SP mode is faster about 30-50khs per 10603gb vs open source

do people actually buy his mods?

At 500 per 1060 that's an additional 10%. Depending on what yours runs at the closer to 400 you get, the bigger that percent gets.

well ok if one has 1k cards "ok"

My  1060 3gb gets me about 557  (sp mod screenshot gets 580) so who cares

Conveniently get the same speed as quoted mod after you said otherwise. Sure... As was mentioned earlier, people have more then one 1060, especially since those are cheaper cards.

you Dont believe the 557hs? on samsung mem?  If I  provide evidence then what?

what did i said otherwise?
1060/6 can make 590 with miners like xmr (but it is not good idea to run it 24h on that settings) so 570 is better.
And around 630-640 with spmod. But again better to run at 610-620.
Anyway it's not good idea to mine cryptonight on nvidia.

this coin is amazing has grown so much Cheesy
Yes - dev&co with millions XSH are doing good job of pumping the price and increasing the market to make real money later. Not very common situation - usually dev's just dump on first pump.

I don't see the value of Electroneum either. If I have to choose, I would definitely buy shield instead of electronuem.

Only USP of Electroneum is their mobile miner, but this is only enough for a short hype. The rest is average.
Do you know any USP of XSH? Seriously?
418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XSH] TOR/i2p, Quantum proof, MN, PoS/PoW, Fully ano, SHIELD on: December 20, 2017, 07:24:03 AM
I can doubt that it was your firtht or second coin that you have explored Smiley for me it was 1st

i have mined 5000 of them  Smiley it will be good to see 5 $, but what is value of Electroneum as cryptocurency?

blockchain? - we have many:) much better.
is it anonymous? - no
Any MPV? like SONM or Golem or Sia? - NO
good DEVS? - i dont know, i think NO

Its all about HYPE, thats why it pump and dump Smiley you can look at shield, it grouse by itself less pumps an downs, look at great cryptos, look on there hystory charts

i am 100 % shure that electroneum company down there web by own. because people were dumping coin. and hacker one is just a star dust to eyes. i dont beleve that it can go to 5 $, maybe in 10-20 years.

there is only one chance for this coin to be go more than 1$. it should be acepted in shops, restaurants and other places. but unfortunatelly even BTC can`t make this nowdays. will HODL because every new in crypto will recognise this coin as god, but when he will read and watch a lot of stuff, he will dump Electroneum.

You are wrong about Electroneum. Bookmark this post and come back to it around this time next year and tell me what you think about Electroneum's price.

By the way, 10 years from now Electroneum will likely be much higher than $5.00, and it will probably be one of the most widely used cryptocurrencies out there.
It's not good idea to measure in $. For example ethereum looks like it is rising in $ but in reality it is dumping very fast since it's highest in summer.
Your 5$ can be achieved easily - the ETN just need to drop a little bit slower than BTC rise.
419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Storj - Decentralized Storage on: December 20, 2017, 07:01:21 AM
The more I Storj the more I think it is bad project.
1) Lack of any transparent profit calculator is awful. You know nothing how much you earn.
2) Extremely amateurish and hidden way of earned coins distribution. Some idiotic spreadsheets, no exact dates of distribution. No clear understanding what is earned for what. You only see that you earned some cents for huge drive capacity you've provided and that's all.
3) No normal analogue of blockexplorer, no site where I can get clear and understandable information. This is frustrating.
4) This f'king eth token instead of normal coin. For what this connection is needed? I hate eth and I don't want to use it. I don't have "gas". But I cant move my storj without it. Idiotizm.

It's sad that there are no good projects with HDD "mining" of some sort.
420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: December 19, 2017, 09:12:39 PM
most profitable now are nist5, neoscrypt, x17, blake2s, lyra2v2 ... you have no good miners for them.

My farm is currently farming 4 more profitable algos than the ones you have listed with the sp-mod private kernels.
you wanna sell them - then explain ))
But I highly doubt ... you have more than $5/day now from gtx1060?
Ghmmm, I made 5$/day from each g4560/4600. So 1060 can be much more profitable. Of cause if you are not bensam1231 - than 2$ from 1060 will be extraordinary achievement.  Grin
