1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] unibright.io - Blockchain based business integration - on: August 16, 2021, 11:31:48 AM
And now is July Wink
looks like Baseledger is still not ready to launch, the team is still working well to build Baseledger as a part of a productive stack, using UBT (+staking and proxy-staking) as the Universal Business Token that is mandatory for using the products and services and at the same time acts as a revenue share and reward mechanism.
yep for now. but i think it will be ready in early nexy year or maybe in q4 this year. The hackcaton in october will be attended by many big corporate and they will trying to build something on baseledger. there is a lot bread crumbs if you follow all the news like Naviporta, port of rotterdam and new europe client that will be announced when ready.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if Elon musk launches his own coin? on: August 10, 2021, 06:43:33 AM
I do believe it would be one biggest coin and get on top 100 immediately but i dont think its good think for him to make a coin cause the regulation would be go bad for him and also its not his focus. Better he keep focus on aerospace technology than this kind crypto asset thing.
3  Economy / Economics / Re: Can blockchain replace the traditional banking system? on: August 09, 2021, 09:02:29 AM
Blockchain technology adoption is still yet taking place, right now i believe blockchain about to be adopted in sector supply chain and many other sector that helping businesses more efficient and less cost. I do think soon blockchain could replace the traditional banking system such as DEFI that could works to replace the traditional banking system. We also see many crypto project that working on sector lending which is similar to banking product.
4  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it easier to HODL if you are already rich? on: August 09, 2021, 03:49:50 AM
One of those successful cases of bitcoin hodling was a friend of a friend. They (a couple) took an important risk by investing 60k of a dismissal compensation into bitcoin and making a x100 on it before selling half. I do not know what they did with the rest. Now, these people were not rich, they took an enormous risk compared to their total wealth. They had to really believe on the project and pass though some of bitcoins usual "tests of faith".

For someone with letīs say, a net worth of 1M USD or more plus house, hodling 60k until they became 6M would have been not that much of an stress. Do you think it was easier to benefit economically from bitcoin if you were already a bit up in the ladder?
Sure i do believe if you are rich you are okay to invest in certain ammoun of money and it will look bigger for most people but it might be just not to much for them. The best advice to invest for long term is always invest ammount of money that you willingly to lose. I do invest and hold almost 4 years and it does make me stress but still i able to manage to hold them and have a big profit from it. Sometimes its depends on how people think and how they able to manage their financially to be able to hold that long.
5  Economy / Economics / Re: Why would people ever use bitcoin if its expected to always go up? on: August 09, 2021, 12:25:29 AM
I couldn't put the full title in the subject line due to character restrictions, but here is the full question:
If bitcoin was fully adopted into everyday life, why would it ever be used for day-to-day transactions if the general consensus was that the price would always appreciate?

After reading several posts on this forum many people seem to think that Bitcoin will always go up. If this were to be the case, why would people spend Bitcoin at all? In this theoretical time, wouldn't it just be a poor financial decision to do?

Or is it thought that in this future where there is widespread adoption the price would stop being so volatile and for the most part stabilize?
well its like why you invest your money into bitcoin in the first place?. im sure because you believe bitcoin could give you bigger return from other investments which you can use to fullfil your needs or buy something that you dreamed. Also bitcoin is made for transaction that are trustable and easy and many people start to accept it which no wonder why people shoping using their bitcoin.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba inu on: August 08, 2021, 12:21:31 PM
is it a joke or what?
i personally dont think that its a real deal to go up with.
Rumors that shiba inu is like bitcoin yet i dont see many websites using it. is there any earn-money site paying in shiba inu?
I do think the coin is completly joke and no fudamental, what they doing make a swap like pancake? i do believe its just pure hype coin that made by elon tweet on twitter. You need to becareful to buy coin like this, its not advice but there is always something fishy with coin like this.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Passive income on: August 07, 2021, 10:27:18 AM
What are some of the best ways to earn passive income right now? I was thinking about staking $CAKE, just staking it and not using liquidity farms. But not sure how profitable that would be, compared to some other methods. I have a 5000$ capital.
Staking definetly good way but did you ever think about where the staking rewards coming from? i think cake would not be so good for long terms. I do recommend you to staking unibright (ubt) that will soon come out maybe this year.
https://baseledger.net
from that website you can see a picture how the flow of ubt as a reward flow, no new coins all on circulation. Also the project is quiet promising, UBT already works with COca-cola , servicenow , microsoft, splunk, and also many big enterprise that still yet to be announced.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best 5 Altcoins to buy right now. My picks on: August 06, 2021, 10:06:01 PM
My picks would be
1. UBT
Real businesses with big company such as coca cola and servicenow. i think UBT is the biggest project in crypto space that interact with many big enterprises and also good token model

2. ETH
which is bluechip coin in my opinion

3. CTSI
Good project in layer 2 adoption
4 matic
same as CTSI matic is doing really great making layer 2 adoption.

5. ARPA
The ceo is related to CZ binance and good for staking.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what you worst experience on crypto on: August 06, 2021, 11:58:13 AM
Here i am going to discussed worst cases. Because lot of people adopting to Crypto space and some getting more and some ended up with nothing.

back 2017 i have no experience and new so some execution not got timely.

My worst experience was Not exit at the correct time. there was a ICO it gave me 10X.  (6500USD) but i did not exit at the correct time so it went for 400usd.

I sent ETH to unknown escrow. 200$ lost. scammers

Not aware of USDT. Its a very bad experience.

Not concern about Technical analysis.

so today i have massive experience so i know how to play the game. Lets share experiences so enrich newbies knowledge.

Cheers
Yes back in 2017 so many scam and ICO mania become the biggest ponzi scheme like tulip fever. Its no different with this year which many moon and dog coin that launch which promise you to get a profit by doing it together. I think most people never learn and think crypto as a way to get a fast money and they do trying the luck that they have and i do think its completly wrong and a flaw in crypto investors. My experience in 2017 is worst like yours, i lose almost 80% of my asset but luckily i manage to get a lot profit from coin that i hold.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High discount in presale on: August 06, 2021, 03:07:07 AM
Is 75% discount in presale of a project way too high? What do you think will happen to such project giving away too high discount for a presale? Will this cos huge dump or you've seen projects that survives after such massive discount

UPDATE

I meant 75% not $, that was a mistake and thanks for understanding
well it depends , it does feels too big but i think the best think to consider when investing is the credibility of the team and what kind of project they are doing. So many project are too delusional and dont have a great basic to build a businesses sometimes the make an ICO, fund the money and they just go away telling people they go bankrupt. So i do think fudamental is the best part of investment and you need to know who build it and what kind person that doing it.  I also think giving a discount is unreasonable and its just a trick to attract customer to make some kind of FOMO buying which is not really good.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest on alts suggestion on: August 06, 2021, 02:48:58 AM
I am plaaning to invest on alts 2024. For the moment i keep my usdt. I am thinking that these coins still at higher prices , they  will sure more 80-90% down.

How about your views?
You want to invest in 2024 but you asking in 2021, dont think its good think sir. i dont think there will be huge correction like that, lets say there will be huge correction but i do think there will be huge spike before the huge correction, if you hold money you should think about inflation, i think currently the rate of inflation is really high and its not best idea to hold fiat, better to invest your money into something else.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Cardano overthrow Ethereum? on: August 05, 2021, 12:01:28 PM
Nope i dont think so cardano could overthrow ethereum. Cardano right now cant even make their own smart contract in time. I mean how long they been talking about it ? . I think in matter of development Ethereum is still few step a head and it will be hard for cardano to catch up the real use case that ethereum has.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Elon Interested in Dogecoin? on: August 05, 2021, 04:11:21 AM
As, we know that Btc & ETH are the top two Crypto in the market but I am confused why Elon interested in Dogecoin?
ELon love doge cause its completly a meme which he can playing around to make the price spike and down. Seriously what elon contribution to crypto market? he only bark and make all of the followers bark to buy doge coin and make the spark of new dog coin in the market. He got the affection but he use it in the wrong way for his own benefit. I hope people to stop following him as a signal cause  i think he doing a bad thing to crypto market.
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which blockchain should a novice developer choose? on: August 05, 2021, 01:53:00 AM
There is a great idea for implementation in the cryptosphere, but I am a beginner developer and I do not have enough funds to afford the creation of a token on ETH. (unjustifiably large commissions with a high price of the Ethereum itself)
Is there some kind of cross-blockchain to implement my ideas with very low fees?  Huh
well i think you could learn a lot in baseline protocol. Baseline protocol is a group who trying to leverage ETH blockchain for enterprise, they doing a lot work that you can join and contribute. I think its free and you could just jump in into their slack. You also could learn from annual meeting about technical thing on youtube every wednesday.

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum last forever? on: August 04, 2021, 09:51:50 PM
i would say yes, Ethereum will survive cause i believe they always trying to be better. I do also believe ETH will be use by many enterprise as a public blockchain, we already see so many cases in supply chain that can help enterprise to reduce cost and it will be adopted by many enterprise, and currently i think the best blockchain for it is ETH.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you define rich? on: August 04, 2021, 08:03:14 AM
RIch for me is i have a free time that i can use for the thing that i love , so i think being able to live your life without worry to fulfill your basic life and also could do things like hobby. I believe it would be different for each people and i dont think there will be perfect answer cause people never satisfied and always seek for more.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to understand that you are making a mistake? on: August 04, 2021, 02:02:30 AM
Have you ever had a situation when you realized that you were making a mistake, but you just keep on doing it. For example, buying some kind of hype shit coin about which you are absolutely sure that in the end it will become garbage, but in the short term there are chances to get a good profit, but in the end everything turns out the other way around.

Share your stories.
Well I did buy doge which i think pump dump coin, cause i know this is only meme coin i sell my doge at 0.05$ then doge increasing like 10x , Now i know its a mistake to sell it too soon. Patient is the key definetly. But i do think i would never touch doge coin again better buying some project with good project such as axii and UBT which will give you more return.
18  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat and cryptocurrency on: August 03, 2021, 10:37:53 AM
Fiat and cryptocurrency are the same but people in society differentiate them and value fiat because its adopted by the government far back, and since the existence of the world and also a specific country, so from my research I find out that government just disliked cryptocurrency for nothing,
So differentiating fiat from bitcoin is valueless because irrespective the importance and massive adoption of fiat currency from  its existence before cryptocurrency, it's obvious that fiat is money and bitcoin is money, their functions and contribution in society never depart from each other, so bitcoin now is the shortest way of transactions across the world without much process or procedures, using bitcoin everything buyable is easier to purchase without stress, so from my perspective I prefer bitcoin than fiat currency due to fast transactions process across another country, and nothing fiat can purchase bitcoin can't purchase, so no difference between both because all are currency.

I do think cryptocurrency and FIat are definetly different, Not every merchant even accepting bitcoin and i do think crypto is so volatile and more like asset of investments rather than currency. Its true the technology behind cryptocurrency is so magnificent but i do think a lot crypto are not good for purchasing, i do think soon stable coin from central bank would help the transaction but will people use it? cause goverments will be able to trace all your transaction.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why do you keep allcoins? on: August 01, 2021, 10:23:01 AM
many of us are aware that sometimes the coins that have recently gone up are quite drastic, even though we have made quite significant profits, but still hope that in the future it will rise more than the coins btt, doge and others rose from the golden age they have peaked now.

if that happens how long do you have to wait 2 years, 3 years, 5 years or...?

while new coins are popping up all the time, still waiting for him to peak again?
Well right now i did hold my coins more than 3 years. I also never regret my decisions until now cause i do knew what im holding. I keep following the news on my coins and i do think they will did really great in 2022 so i still hold it till now and hope i it will be bloom in 2022 as i believe.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If Musk doesn't tweet Dogecoin, can it still soar? on: July 31, 2021, 10:20:48 PM
Dogecoin is a coin without team and core technology, but Musk made it appear in the general public. Many people who are not cryptocurrency traders are buying Dogecoin, just like buying BTC. Why does it succeed? Is it just because of Musk? Dogira, Shiba, HOGE, who will be the next Dogecoin?

Or is there only only one unique Dogecoin?
I do think doge coin have their own way to make it success, First its old coins and people use it to transfer money and its cheaper than using ETH and BTC. I do think dogecoin could soar with bitcoin. If you looking the next doge coin i do think it will end up hurt cause its just pump dump scheme that people doing to gain fast money, so be careful
