You need to adjust ram timing by rom flashing. Use atiflash tool.
80C seems quite high even for mining. It's safe below 65C. Fix your fan speed at 70 or 80% using afterburner.

You can run two different miners simultaneously. Mine ZEC with 1060 and ETH with 1070.

3GB version has limited life for mining ethereum because of increasing DAG size.

For equihash mining. there's hash difference about 5~10% between 3gb and 6gb version.
Hash difference is not big, but 3gb version may become unable to mine ethereum because of DAG size in about March 2018.
In case of the equihash coin becoming not profitable anymore, I recommend purchasing 6gb version.
Price seems little expensive than my country, but it has variations. Check out your local PC components price.

ROI seems to be about 15 months. Start mining ethereum with 6 way rx580 mining rig or GTX 1060.

Is there 1050ti 6GB? I haven't heard it before.
Rx5 series are becomming easy to purchase in most of countries, it's one of the best gpu for cost efficiency.
If you are willing to choose Nvidia GPU, 1060 is the best considering GPU cost and power consumption.

You can just trust Whattomine. There are a lot of altcoins which shows better profitability than ETH, but most of them make it just for a short time.
For now, there was no altcoin which made stable profits other than ETH for now.

There's not very many things for maintenance. As you mentioned, using air blower to clean up dust is almost everything for mining rig.
I do it every 3 months.

Difference of pool side difficulty.
Difficulty from pool varies on the ability of mining rig. Number of shares has not that big meaning.

It is not that difficult to start mining. Just try it.
1. register to mining pool like flypool or miningpoolhub or etc.
2. install ETH miner(Claymore's or ethminer) or Zec miner(EWBF ..)
3. Run those miner with adequate setting.
Try mining and look how much profit comes out daily, electricity usage, heats and noises from your PC. It will help making decisions for additional mining rigs.
