It's difficulty is skyrocketting. Everyone around are mining electroneum.

With GPUs, it's just wasting electricity. Mine other GPU friendly coins and exchange it to BCH.

Heard that its testnet has started, is it well being mined now?

CPU doesn't matter. There are mining rigs with 775pin CPU. Internet speed doesn't matter. Data size between mining rig and pool is very small.

I'm algo-profit mining on MPH which runs based on PPLNS. Theoretically there is no share loss on PPLNS system.

The HASH is the same like 470?
Yes. It's just renamed version. It has same GPU chips on it. You will get about 28-30 MH/s per card on eth mining.

If you don't have a problem with electricity and cooling issue, 295x2 is one of the best option. It shows the best ethereum hashrate among ALL single graphics cards, consumes a lot of power. Very cost effective if you are free from electricity bill.

It claims that it could be a good option compared to mining with CPU, but i7 2600 also is a very old fashined one. It seems meaningless for profitability.

Wow this tread is about a long time ago. I couldn't think that I will buy 1060 at normal price in future.

RX470 has been discontinued, it could be difficult to find new one. How about considering Rx570?

It's very easy. just install cards, OC them with afterburner and turn on EWBF.

Its profitability has sharply decreased from crazy may 2017, but people thinking of long-term investment are still purchasing GPUs.

Those hardwares are one of the most power consuming. If you don't care for electricity bill, try mine ethereum with GPU and monero with CPU.

I'll go with 570. 1060 3GB mini has many issues. With its 3GB VRAM you are going to be unable to mine ethereum since March 2018 due DAG size. People don;t recommend mini version because it lacks power supply and cooling power.

It's possible to split into 5GPU/1GPU with -di options, but 10%.. I doubt you can.

Mostly PSU, tell us the model.

I use 64GB ssd but recommend 120GB. My rig only has 5GB free space because of virtual memory.
