Perhaps someone just deployed a large amount of GPUs? I find it unlikely anybody would deploy ASICs for Ethereum given they can easily change the algo if ASICs are created for it, it would be a massive waste of money if it happened like that.
I hope so. Release of ethereum ASIC would be a total disaster for GPU miners. It wouldn't be for too long as IIRC Ethereum's algo was designed to be ASIC resistant. If it no longer was I'm sure the devs would make the algo different again. Because of this I would expect it to be FPGAs and not ASICs as the cost of programming FPGAs is usually less than designing an ASIC- that is, if it is NOT GPUs, which I doubt. I got it. Thx for kind explanation.

They say 'winter is comming'.. As I know, it is a programmed course for converting Ethereum system into PoS(proof of stake) from PoW(proof of work). By continuously making decrease of the mining output..
At last, we should find other altcoins to mine with..

Ice age, or so called difficulty bomb. Planned difficulty jump after 4.1m blocks, it will happen again after 200k blocks.
|
|
|
|

There was almost 150T increase of network difficulty in last 2 hours.
Pool hash of ethermine-asia is skyrocketting..

Musicoin, digibyte..try some minorities.

There was a big increase of difficulty after 4100000 block. Because of ice age, you would see again every next 200k blocks.

I bet east eu. But some Chinese place their mining rigs right next to hydroelectric power station, which they can get electricity for almost free. No one can beat them on profitability,..

Recommend more budget for mining. with USD 1000, 4way 1050ti is maximum, which gives you only 3$/day.

Go with Claymore's. Even though nicehash changes algorithms with best realtime profit, Well optimized RX480 is almost totally suitable for ethereum mining. Nicehash will keep mining on ethereum.
Claymore's the best solution for your situation.

Did you try setting virtual memory more than 40GBs?
|
|
|
|
|
It depends, but most of them survives 2+years even in mining mode.

If you have enough place, several 6way GTX1060 mining rigs.
But in these days, difficulty increase is so fast, just buying ETH could be more profitable.

try adding one more line in your batch command:
cd C:\your\directory\of\claymore\ ethdcrminer64.exe -epool us1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal 0x53564581a45A5520243083ce050f76eF933A1E66.Miner1 -epsw x -mode 1 -tt 68 -allpools 1

Try adjusting dual mining intensity -dcri value You also can change it by pressing + or - button on Claymore console.

I saw some case using triple PSUs. They are using it because it's far cheaper buying single or double PSUs which has same total power.
You can use by using dual power connector that people using for double PSUs
main psu - connector - second psu - connector - third psu will work fine.
Discard for some possibility of increased PSU failure, it could be a good solution for cost-effectiveness
