1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: August 17, 2017, 03:06:23 PM
Signatum is the riskiest bet right now imo. The last flash dump was very suspicious. I'm holding some but I stopped mining, the difficulty is not great right now.

Anyone care to do the math? lol this is what 1x1080ti is earning = basically $2.10 a day if I convert them right now.

I may be doing something horribly wrong lol

Mining ZEC using 0.3.4b ZecMiner

speed average is 700 sol
TDP 90%
Runs at 1835 mhz

Use flypool, currently paying 3.8~4 per 1080Ti

Hi all, i have used ewbf's cuda zcash miner since its inception, but recently Kaspersky identified the 0.32b version as having a Trojan:Win32 Skeeyah.A!bit. This seems strange because it is a miner, why wouldn't it detect it as crypto miner and a trojan instead?
Seems like a false positive. it's not a trojan in any way.

If he downloaded from less trustworthy sources it can be a trojan.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: August 15, 2017, 02:43:14 PM

The most profitable mining for 1080 ti now is Skunk Nicehash paying minimum $5/day

5 a day per card?

5 USD = 4,25425106 EUR...

I'm doing 6+ eur at hashrefinery. Skein and Nist 5.

Edited: Oh yeah, 6 EUR = 7.05177 USD

Been using this miner for past 3 months on all of my 7 rigs, very happy with it, no dramas whatsoever. Just out of curiosity - is this the best one out there ? Or are there any other public/private miners that give even better hashrates ?

There are always private miners with better performance. None are available though.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Any word on amd vega hash rates? on: August 14, 2017, 03:53:06 PM
The Vega 56 manages around 31MH/s for Ethereum, and the Vega 64 does 33MH/s. Overclocking the VRAM helps boost both cards closer to 40MH/s right now. So at launch, that's not super promising.

http://www.pcgamer.com/the-amd-radeon-rx-vega-56-and-vega-64-review/

40 MH/s on overclocked settings.  Probably 45-50 Mh/s with BIOS mods and driver optimizations?

Vega Bios is locked, Gamer Nexus stated this on their review. Maybe AMD will focus their drivers for mining after they see that only miners want to use this card as it's a bad cost benefit for gaming.

This card will be very good for those who don't pay energy. Anyway, ETH miners should be scared right now.

I'll save everyone some work. The coins giving "more" profit are Solaris and Signatum. BUT, it's a iffy profit because the pools are not reliable in the short term and small miners.

I hate people "hiding" their game, it's childish
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: August 12, 2017, 06:17:16 PM
A lot of misinformed or ill-intentioned people will say they make 50%+ more than the best profits in whattomine. That's a lie. Mining only becomes more profitable if the price rises through community adoption. There is no such thing as a "secret" coin no one knows about that is making better profit than everything on whattomine.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: I may have been dosed with malware on: August 12, 2017, 04:39:24 PM
Run Rogue Killer, AdwCleaner, Farbar Recovery Scan Tool, Junkware Removal Tool. Also run microsoft's process explorer and watch carefully for unwanted processes.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: August 11, 2017, 05:17:57 PM
That's a lie, in pplns you can't claim regular payments of $5 per card on sigt. SPECIALLY with small rigs. PPLNS is only regular for big farms. If you have a small rig you get at the best case $3 per day on sigt and $5 once in a blue moon.

I just want to let everyone know that I downloaded some malware from this thread (Unfortunately I don't know which file that caused it and when I downloaded it). It infected scvhost, creating "blank" processes, I was able to identify and remove it luckly.
12  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Stay away from zec.suprnova.cc (and the whole family)! It is a scam! on: August 04, 2017, 12:16:26 AM
Another problem is that under "Statistics > Pool" it will show your estimate ZEC/day and I never reached even half of that amount daily after weeks mining there. I'm out of suprnova, something shady is going on.

Hello
I am running 6x1060 6GB mining rig.
when I use EWBF it runs sometimes for few hours then it crashes and freezes the PC, only hard reset can be done to restore the windows functionality.
I tried Excavator, it runs flawlessly but the SOL/S is less than the EWBF that's why I want to use EWBF..
I am not overclocking or undervolting anything, only using MSI AB to adjust the fan speeds to curve mode.

what am I missing here? does EWBF known to be unstable like this?
I am using latest 0.3.4B version and tried many nvidia drivers with same issue..
regards

Lower your overclock, it's probably unstable because of that.

In myetherwallet the tokens are showing as SRC, is that ok?

Just to correct my own sentence, it's all ok. The important step is that you need to add the STRC token just like you added the SRC token months ago. Now I have both SRC (worthless) and STRC showing up.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: EWBF's CUDA Zcash miner on: August 01, 2017, 01:39:30 PM
Calculators are not accurate on the short term because of the luck of finding blocks.

Why am I getting hit with DEVFEES every other minute? I thought it was supposed to be every 10 minutes.

Unlike other devs EWBF collects fees every n...Cycles instead of every n....Minutes.

Every number of cycles, what does that mean?

Add these nodes to your signatum.conf file in %appdata%\Signatum

Thank you! It worked.

I run 4 1080Ti in 2 computers and they never crash, same for my 1080 and 1070s.

I'm asking the 800 sols guy with only 260w, that's either a 0.1% lucky silicon or a lie.
