1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How long can this BULL run last?? on: March 26, 2021, 10:20:50 AM
As compared to the previous bull run that has taken place in bitcoin, this time things are quite different. Institutional adoption. Elon Musk shilling cryptos makes it reach even more people now, and fundamentals are very strong which hints at $100K per coin. HODL is the key, institutions have shown us the way, be it GrayScale or MicroStrategy, just have a look at their average prices of purchase and how they accumulate more on every dips.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you find out about new projects? on: October 09, 2020, 06:34:52 AM
One can use the ANN section, of altcoins to get notified about the new upcoming projects, also there are a couple of telegram channels who share new potential crypto projects depending upon their use-case.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PoS][CSN] CRESCENT NETWORK TOKEN - WORLD'S FIRST MULTI-USE POS TOKEN on: January 21, 2018, 11:14:59 AM
I think this was a coin that had a double swap.  It's the 3rd iteration of this coin if I recall correctly.  Dev team does constant coin swaps in order to screw you out of your investment.  If you get into this you must follow daily for the surprise coin swaps.  This project is a nice little money maker for the dev as he keeps the proceeds from the people that could not follow the constant swapping.  Buyer beware on this one.

Lol. I thought there were only two (from ezec to crescent).

The only token swap was from ezec to crescent. After modification of Crescent contract, all CST holders were given the CSN tokens on a 1:1 ratio. So there's no question of double swap/3rd iteration. The ones already present in the community since the start of the project know this fact very well, how things worked for the benefit of community.

When I saw a bounty campaign from this project, I went directly to the registration form for the translation campaign. Does this mean there is only a translation campaign?
There are multiple sections in the google form, you can check them by clicking "next" at the bottom of the form.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which makes sense to buy a bitcoin or to buy a altcoin? on: December 20, 2017, 06:34:51 PM
Altcoins will be preferred for short term quick gains but higher risk factor and instability, on the other hand Bitcoin will be always stable and give long term gains for sure.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice on selecting an Altcoin under $0.10 for a decent return on: December 17, 2017, 06:21:04 AM
I'd advise you, to have a look at coinmarketcap, it gives u very detailed information along with charts about your requirement and accordingly you can select the one you feel potential one..
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Electroneum a SCAM??? on: December 17, 2017, 06:19:15 AM
It's one of the successful ICO, currently on the market giving good mining profits too.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm very disappointed with myself. on: December 17, 2017, 06:18:07 AM
That's a part of learning process though. You'll be careful from next time and it'd prevent more losses from occurring. Sorry for u brother
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in cryptocurrency and ICOs? on: December 17, 2017, 06:15:34 AM
U can invest if you want better growth of your funds. But the amount invested shall be on your own risks, and preferably invest only that much which u cannot feel pity about. Also, would be better if u participate in bounty campaigns and airdrops, get some value after selling them at the peak point then invest that amount somewhere you feel potential growth at.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New alt coin says it can beat Bitcoin on: December 17, 2017, 06:12:02 AM
Scammers on the go Cheesy It's better one should stay away from such projects. It's just waste of both time and money.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are some stable altcoins ? on: December 17, 2017, 06:10:43 AM
For stability of coins, you can go through coinmarketcap and there's detailed information about the same. In my view Monero seems more stable. Ethereum almost doubled in this week.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you feel ICOs try to raise too much? on: December 17, 2017, 06:05:04 AM
Recently I've been seeing the same too. Some of them justify by saying, some amount of ICO will be used in getting their tokens listed on major exchanges, and the other part of it going towards the development of their project. Someone mentioned too above, they ask for $10M even though their requirement is maximum of $1M. So yeah, ICOs are raising too much these days.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in altcoin still worth? on: December 17, 2017, 05:58:36 AM
It's worth investing in Altcoins, if not Bitcoin. You'd better be happy with ur profits growing if u invest wisely and after careful thinking. Otherwise like how people are looking at the Bitcoin growth, you'll regret later on for not having invested in the potential Altcoins.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can a one or two man team with a great concept/solution pull off an ICO? on: December 17, 2017, 05:55:47 AM
They surely can, but it'd be difficult for people to place their trust in that ICO as that won't seem possible for them to work.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Where do you find your news? on: December 17, 2017, 05:48:19 AM
My chrome browser gives me tailored news content about the crypto world, but I also prefer browsing through cointelegraph.com , newsbtc.com , telegram channels and Twitter too.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to participate in ICO's? on: December 17, 2017, 05:42:01 AM
Many of them must have already states about the pro and cons of. ICOs already. Nobody can guarantee the safety of any ICO tbh, it's you who has to decide which one to invest in and which one to avoid, and that comes with researching about the project and it's development, and if that convinces you then go ahead with it, else better stay back and watch how it progresses, so next time it'd be easier for u to identify legit ones.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: More and more airdrop is a lie, on: December 16, 2017, 11:25:42 AM
Most of them are fraudulent ones, but not all. Still, there are potential projects offering Airdrop and Bounty campaign as well. It just needs time now to search for good ones, considering the numerous airdrops out there.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum at $1000 in Jan 2018? on: December 16, 2017, 11:22:46 AM
Ethereum is definitely having the potential, seeing how it almost doubled since the last week. $1K is not far away now for Eth. It will soon surpass that limit too and stand stable above $1000 for sure
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 alt coins to hodl in 2018 on: December 16, 2017, 11:20:36 AM
First being Ethereum, followed by Monero, ACC, Nuls and Hawala.Today would be the top 5 coins according to me for 2018 HODLing
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: Good alt or stay away? on: December 16, 2017, 11:18:05 AM
In my opinion, Ethereum is one of the best and successful crypto after BTC, considering the level of impact Ethereum has right now on the crypto market. Majority of the tokens are developed on the Eth network itself and Ethereum has wide usage over the internet. So, that's a very good Altcoin I would say.
