Hi Sampey

After some time I am returning to trading a bit and wanted to activate a new API, is this still possible?

I am not sure if my DM went through in the forum. If it is still possible let me please know so that we could do this before you retire completelly :-D

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [MERG] [PoW/PoS/Masternode] Merge | Bringing Blockchains Together on: September 21, 2018, 09:24:16 PM
merge focus To provide ecosystems between communities and partners to collaborate and utilize each other's expertise by using blockchain. the conclusion is an ecosystem that is mutually beneficial for both parties. can you please give an example?

Hi egykind

A usecase could be a banana shipping company that want to track their bananas but not able to set uo a blockchain based app. So we provide our membrane which will contain an easy to use business process modelling language in order to let them build their own app without really having to habe experimce in blockchain development.

Wallet owners of merge will participate with each transaction that goes via membrane and users will habe much cheaper and more reliable systems to use with data that can not be compromised

hi 808ers..
i am new here to 808 and i am looking for some good PoS coins..
as i am not new to PoS coins i wanted to ask if there is any place where i could see the calculation data for staking rewards? or if there is a hint how big i could split my block in order to optimize my staking?

and if there is nothing like that if somebody could explain me how the mechanism in this coin works?

thanks for your answers

Don't split it at all. Right now you need over 500k coins to stake at 8-9 day (for 17-9% stake reward)

would it not make more sense to split the coins into 500k block in order to have stakes every day?
You can't have stake everyday other way than having ~10  x 1 m blocks inputed day after day because of 8 DAYS stake maturity.
If You're spliting - You don't take adv of compounding. Just check it in Excel when you multiply 1.17 x 1.17 x 1.17 x ... x 1.17
You'll easily find that getting % of % in this ratio (808% yearly) is your highway Cheesy

that is only one part of the math, or not? getting the reward is based on luck (as usual in PoS) and this luck factor is expressed in the time factor and by the weight of the block it self? as it competes with the other blocks in the chain to get the reward. so if i have multiple blocks i also have multiple chances to get the reward?

Why this sudden raise ?

i just logged in to ask the same question Cheesy
i could only explain that with the survey about adding new coins. as the lykke exchange is used by a lot of "normal"users and not trader it will open the access to other parts of the society and therefore the market sees this as a raise of price and are buying

so after 6 months just reading across the whole forum (not only orbitcoin) i have my first post here Smiley
hi to everyone here!
so i discovered orb since a while and am accumulating some coins.. now the price spiked just too much so that i wanted to start staking.. now to split the coins into the right block sizes i was used to have in the coin control a splitter.. where do i find this one in the wallet here?

edit: i am using a mac and i can't find the folders in the application support where all the other folders of my coins are to get access to the config file. so where is this config file located in mac OS?
