243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: AISI Coin Bounty campaign on: April 12, 2018, 11:16:03 PM
I think these should be posted in the bounty section or token altcoins? Here is the link to the section https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0
Or at the bottom of this thread left side, move topic button.
This section is specifically for discussing of project development not some sort of campaign. So OP, I know you understand a simple suggestion, if i'm wrong please educate me.
244  Other / Meta / Re: Multi-accounts in signature on: April 12, 2018, 04:33:00 PM
I notice a lot of multi accounts in the signature. How to deal with them? This is a big business. For example, in a signature Daneel, 20% of all participants are multi-accounts, they drop everything on one address. How to deal with this?

Multi-accounts could be tracked by their address so it's the bounty manager's sole discretion whether to ban the participant or not because obviously it's cheating.

It can be done easily if the participants are limited but try to think of it some campaigns accept 200-500 participants in which is quite overboard and most of the time it is seen in bounty campaign ( if I am not wrong), that is why plethora of sig users are abusing it. The most right thing to do in my own perspective is report the abuser to the campaign manager and then the campaign manager will report to DT members or moderators or staff. If negative trust is not enough then ban should be the best solution.
To OP, report immediately with accurate proof so that accusation will be valid in a professional way.
245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I buy BItcoin or Litecoin on: April 12, 2018, 02:40:57 PM
Please don’t say 50 percent of each

BTC or Litecoin!

What would you think that what you demand should never be given.? Look mate, if you are doubting about this two choices, why won't you buy these two? Buying is not the problem mate the real problem is how to roll it? How to make it double or how to earn from it. Don't ever ask question saying "please don't say 50 percent each" because you can't compare Bitcoin to litecoin this is too far, litecoin cheap, Bitcoin expensive, different strategy to roll.
246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have $150 Ethereum. How can I grow/increase this amount? on: April 12, 2018, 08:20:36 AM
I would propose to divide into 3 parts, one remain for long hold, 2-nd invest into prospective ICO's, the 3rd part to use for daily trading.

Exactly, this how should be done to OP, ethereum, great choice now is HODling, some great and trusted ICO has a minimum of 1ethereum equivalent to let's say 350 to 500 dollars no a days, the best option for that is trading to other altcoins which has also a potential, but you need to add some value in order for you to earn .25 or .5 to your profit. Half or a one fourth.
247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: airdrop problems on: April 12, 2018, 07:07:32 AM
Hello buddy, same here, we experienced all the same, one thing that i should not work out this time is the self drops and airdrops, they have no value at all or it depends on the development team. But majority of all those airdrops are just getting some information on ours. One thing ive experienced last week is that, somebody is accessing my personal accounts in some exchangers. One thing that come up to my mind is that when i fill up the forms in the airdrops i use the same email and password to my accounts in exchangers. So bad experience. truly.

Thanks for creating this thread.

I see the season why they  have access to your exchange  account. Here is my advice for those doing airdrop:

1. Don't you the same email you use to register for exchange to fill airdrop  create a new email for airdrop

2. Don't use the same password that you use to open your email to register  on airdrop site have a separate password for your airdrop that requires  sign up

3. All exchanges have 2FA features always make sure that your 2FA is activated on your exchange account and all other account  that has 2FA features.  That way you will be safe. Best of luck!

Some airdrops are just technique to gather simple information's like emails, scammers use this kind of technique giving referral links and those who are victim that doesn't know to distinguish whether the site is phishing, that is why more complains appear, I'm not saying that all airdrops are not legit but we have to be picky, those token that can be sell legally.
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coin holding strategy on: April 12, 2018, 04:49:12 AM
The very best option i know is this,  buy 10 Bitcoin now because it's in dip mode or discount mode, so that the 5 bitcoin should be divided to investment, trading and if you have luck gambling, (I really don't prefer gambling because it's not optional, if you know how to make your money roll then in the near future you will be sitting pretty. That's the best option I know. Cheesy
249  Economy / Gambling / Re: Pornhub Casino now accepting bitcoin and many other cryptocurrency! ph.casino on: April 11, 2018, 10:37:54 PM
I think this website should be reported, not from being a scam but because of the word being used is abbreviated ph.casino.com  sounds like philippines. Casino.com, I think it is better to use the real name in order for them not to bump any other sides, even thou pornhub is ban in some country. And as I have read this site is not being promoted to the original pornhub site? How come?
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges on: April 11, 2018, 03:17:47 PM
I'm wondering if it's worth exchanging Bitcoin to Monero for security as Bitcoin is quite volatile and monero seems less so. Any advice would be appreciated.

It depends on your decision but if you will take some advice I suggest you to stay with bitcoin if you could, However, as we see monero's volatility is quite good, not almost good, or the best thing to so is to have both, this two is good for long term, especially bitcoin that has greater potential than monero. Therefore that is just an advice it's up to you mate.
251  Other / Meta / Re: The future of the signature campaigns on: April 11, 2018, 12:19:33 PM
users are Divided into different distinction, there are people like what OP said that make money through all kinds of campaigns, while others are just roaming around checking some legit projects to invest, and others are looking for a member of a team to be made.
in bitcoin discussion there are people who discuss about bitcoin, but not all thread are pertaining to bitcoin discussion.
in meta section there you'll see admin, developers, DT members and moderators, So in other words, there are more newbies and jr members because the community is growing but the sad part is some are taking advantage, However, Merit is implemented, DT members are now more strict, and admin and devs are now doing great things.
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: HOW TO BE A BOUNTY MANAGER? on: April 11, 2018, 11:07:10 AM
you should have atleast an experience of marketing, when you have this kind of skill then you are really able to become a bounty manager, for example you should be aware always that Project depends on your name, if a project scams people then your reputation is ruined, so better be picky to some Project you want to handle as a bounty manager. do not be greedy, always think out of the box, money is easy to find but reputation and respect needs time and experience.
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Should we limit members in one campaign? on: April 11, 2018, 10:21:59 AM
as long as the bounty campaign is looking for participants in order for the project be advertise through the entire forum and investors then bounty campaign managers the more participants as long as it is possible but the more the participant the lesser stake you'll get. this is one part of the strategy, but time consuming, and alt accounts are always there, if the campaign is not handled well.
254  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Can anything replace Blockchain? on: April 11, 2018, 05:33:51 AM
if coding, and learning computer language is easy, and if quantum core computers are available and affordable and if anybody knows how to use proper technology with the idea of being advance then maybe blockchain will be replaced as soon as possible. However this will take long long time for sure, because Blockchain is already founded in the internet and is not yet irreplaceable not unless if that replacement is good and much better than blockchain technology. i hope that the replacement is invulnerable to attacks, but more transparent and safer.
255  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How to make a successful project? on: April 11, 2018, 04:31:28 AM
How to make a successful project.

1. Do not deceive people
2. Be professional
3. Spend your own money not the money of others.
4. Hire people with potential and effort and don't know the word "scam"

Look it is so very difficult to produce an outstanding project with a group of professional team that has a will to enjoy, lift up people not to destroy. No matter what project you make, success is always there but don't  for get to be a human with dignity.
256  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where is the best place to hire a team for a project? on: April 10, 2018, 10:58:20 PM
Hello OP, I think you should've give us a Hint of what team do you want to make in the near future, However, if you are looking for manager, or advisor I highly recommend Mr. Yahoo62278, He is a well known manager here in the entire forum handled almost 100 or above it, projects that already been listed in exchanges sites, Here is the link to His profile, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=355846 ...
257  Other / Meta / Re: Why the merit system is heavily lopsided in favour of older users on: April 09, 2018, 06:02:17 AM
For Members and above, it's really no biggie, since they get free merit. But for newbies like myself, getting to the next rank is exponentially higher because you really have to grind. Grinding isn't bad... but imo it's really unfair. Just a mini-rant.
I think it's unfair to allow people to rank up by spamming and posting in activity periods. This system might not be perfect, but it's already showing that it's effective against account farming and encouraging users to post more constructively.

Indeed it is, but if you read what he wrote with understanding, you'd realize he was saying the system is good, but a lot of members ranked up by spamming and posting, which is true.

It really isn't fair that someone with 120 activity starts with a 100 Merits, and one with 112 activity starts with 10 Merits.

A lot of us probably wouldn't be Legendaries or Heroes if the Merit system was here from the beginning.
Theymos probably didn't want to degrade all of us back to 0, but it would probably be the most fair option if all of us started from 0 Merits.
We still have the upper-hand because we have enough activity to rank up, and some older posts someone will eventually read and perhaps spend some sMerits.
I'm getting annoyed by everyone talking to newbies like they're the scum of the earth.
First listen, then talk.
EDIT: Okay, the edit you made kind of changes the context, now that's a nice reply.
Not like much I've read here so far.

I really Like the Idea of implementing merit as a new feature to lessen scammers of alt accounts that abuse signature campaigns, but what you say is a fair way, so maybe admin should've given the merit starting from zero so that it would be fair and square, but still He is the administrator of this forum so we just have to respect what decision He may do.

merit sources have different taste, somebody like constructive, somebody also likes being honest. so all in all we just have to go with the flow, it's for the sake of the forum.
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fund raising through an ICO on: April 09, 2018, 04:51:17 AM
Fund raising through an ICO is really Possible but the more investors you pull and be a part of that Project the more stock holders there will be, but if you are lacking money then that would be the way you must do in order for that project to run, but it is better into a certain group to have atleast founded their capital by their own money so that they will not be dependent to the investors, and that is why some ICO eventually doesn't succeed. depends also on marketing strategy.
259  Other / Meta / Re: Merit Gained from using Sources? on: April 08, 2018, 02:41:09 PM
Maybe it was just His technique to lure merit sources, some Other users who get merits doesn't always base on what they know, they have gone some research and get some idea to it and then post it as a whole thread with some editing techniques that is why it is interesting, but atleast OP, ask permission to whom it may concern, because accusing someone without any valid reason and proofs and is upon the mandatory rules and regulation then maybe the story will be an ironic reverse.
