1  Local / India / Re: bitmain wont refund for the orders they did not deliver on: December 27, 2017, 04:05:19 AM
Bitmain loves to play games if we people as group approach them they will take us seriously
I do understand that the refund process is difficult for Bitmain. I'm 100% sure that they are going to refund, but we need to make the process faster.
I thought exactly the same that all of us who have refunds pending should form a group and came searching on this forum and found this thread, please keep this thread updated and let's find more and more people who are in the same situation.
Also please post a chat.whatsapp.com group invite link here in case some one makes a WhatsApp group or any other kind of group.

2  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: COINSECURE Vs UNOCOIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!! A Comparison Study on: September 23, 2017, 05:12:41 AM
To be worst ,now coinsecure site is down. Very poor performance. Don't consider Coinsecure at all.

In my honest opinion, for buying BTC, Zebpay always gives a better rate than Unocoin and deposits and withdrawals get processed within an hour if done between 9am and 8pm Monday-Saturday, also coinsecure gives the best rate if you want to sell Bitcoins. But, I have never used coinsecure, just compared rates. Looking at the reviews though, Coinsecure might take a week to deposit that money in your bank after you sell your BTC to them, if you want money the same day, always use Zebpay during their working hours.
The only downside is that Zebpay doesn't have a website, you have to always use their app, but actually that's more convenient.
3  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: Two Antminer D3 for sale on: September 23, 2017, 05:04:07 AM
Struggling with clearance now.. will let you know once done.. Smiley
Which City's customs are your miners struck at? And what are the objections being raised by them?

Delhi, UPS just asked for NOC from RBI which I think is just their way to make money.. I have written them a letter for showing that it is for my individual use.

Any update?
Please keep updating us.

I have emailed a request letter to UPS for customs stating that there is no need of NOC from RBI. Have also contacted an agent for getting the miners cleared on this level. Will be able to get status today.

Cool!
All the Best to you! :-)
Do keep us updated.

5  Local / Mining (India) / Re: Group Buy for Innosilicon A5 DashMaster 30.2Gh/s X11 Miner ASIC on: July 31, 2017, 07:10:18 PM
Hey Pawan,i am interested. contact me at idandroidcz(at)gmail(dot)com
Hi Digvijay,
I am not interested in Innosilicon's A5, I ordered 3 pieces of Bitmain's Antminer D3 instead of this A5.
For $2699*3=$8097, the D3 is a much better option. It gets sold out in 10 minutes after it comes back in stock, but keep trying. All the Best. :-)

Hi,
I too have created a similar post and saw yours after posting. You can see it here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2038899.0

Let's see the response we get, at least you and I are 2 interested folks.

I have also mentioned about the issues faced by people who had ordered Innosilicon's previous miner at the bottom of my post in the above link.

Bitmain is a cheaper and safer alternative but I am not sure what the shipping date will be for the 2nd batch of Antminer D3.
7  Local / Mining (India) / Group Buy for Innosilicon A5 DashMaster 30.2Gh/s X11 Miner ASIC on: July 21, 2017, 03:11:59 PM
Hi,
Innosilicon has just announced their first X11 miner "A5 DashMaster". They are claiming 30.2 Gh/s at 750W and 38Gh/s at 1250W and shipping by 30th September. But take this with a pinch of salt, see more details at the bottom of this post.

I had emailed them for buying a piece in the first batch and they emailed me back that the MOQ(Minimum Order Quantity) is 3 units and the pre-booking will start soon, maybe today. Here's the link:
http://www.innosilicon.com/html/a5-miner/index.html#Buy
You can see all the details above.

On the above link, the MOQ has not been mentioned anywhere, so I'm not sure whether there will be any MOQ, but if it's 3 as mentioned in the email, I can only buy one and will be interested to know if there are some people who want to order one or two and can help me in reaching 3?

The price is not mentioned anywhere and they said they will announce it soon, but from what I read elsewhere on the Dash forum, it's going to be more than $6000, but we can't be sure about it right now.

The payment will be made in BTC, and it needs to be completed within 2 hours of placing the order.

I'm based in Pune and can ship the miner to you, the same day I receive it. I also have a registered firm with an IEC (Import Export code) that I have used for importing mining hardware from China before, which makes clearing customs hassle-free for me.

I will not be interested in this miner if the price is above $7000, as I am also placing an ordering in the second batch of Antminer D3 from Bitmain which costs $2699 and gives a hash rate of 15 Gh/s. It's currently out of stock but you can check here: https://shop.bitmain.com/main.htm?lang=en

Some important things to consider:
1. Innosilicon has in the past delayed the shipping of their new miners by a few months. I read this somewhere on this forum in a group buy thread for their A4 miner.
2. In 2016, they had first claimed that their A4 Scrypt (Litecoin) Miner will give a hash rate of 800Mh/s at 750W, then they said 600Mh/s and started pre-booking, then finally they delivered 280Mh/s at 1050W, and that too a few months late! Even though this might seem like cheating, but some people are saying that now they are experienced and they may deliver what they are promising.
3. If you use any mining calculator like whattomine.com and enter 30Gh/s for X11, you will see a daily profit of more than $500 for mining Dash at 412,091.079 Difficulty and network hash rate of 11.27 Th/s. But this is because there were only 1200Mh/s Baikals in the market till now, with new miners from iBeLink (DM11G - 10.8 Gh/s), Bitmain (Antminer D3 - 15 Gh/s), the difficulty level will go up around 4-5 times, so consider daily profits less than $100 if the price of Dash remains same.

If you are not interested in buying this miner, please also post your suggestions on which miner one should buy and what do you think about the future of Dash.
Anyone willing to share their experience with Innosilicon vs Bitmain ASIC miners is also welcome.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining altcoins in India profitably.... on: July 20, 2017, 05:05:54 PM
Don't worry about that, each and every post that is discussed by the people in the US or any other country, and all the parts that they are using is pretty much available everywhere and its a good place to start. Try finding a good motherboard with 6 PCI-e slots, get the budget CPU which supports the socket of your motherboard, 4 gigs RAM, 32 GB USB Stick if you're going to use Linux or else 120 GB SSD for Windows 10. It might feel a bit daunting until you actually try it.

Any recommendations for the Motherboard? Without burning a hole in my pocket...  Wink
I was thinking of a LGA 1150 socket model but most have only 1 or 2 pci-e slots except the ultra expensive. Cry

What's your budget?

I got "ASUS Z270F Gaming" for Rs.14,500 last month in Mumbai and successfully use it with 8*1060s and 1*1070, so total 9 GPUs and NVoc OS on a 32GB pen drive bought from Amazon.in.
Intel Pentium G4400 CPU for Rs.3,900
8GB RAM Corsair 2400Mhz for Rs.4450 (Overkill, you can buy 4GB too, my rig hardly uses 1GB of RAM)
2*Cooler Master V850 (Rs.11400 from one shop and Rs.12400 from another shop because the first one only had one)
I had bought Riser cards on eBay.in for Rs.1000 per piece and then imported a bulk shipment from China, but do that only if you have an IEC (Import Export Code).
And I had bought 2* m.2 to PCI-E converters from a Chinese website which I used on the 2* m.2 slots and attached 2 riser cards to them.
You can PM me if you need help but don't expect a quick reply.
As mentioned by others, mining isn't much profitable, I'm making around Rs.20-30k income on the 9 GPU rig, so if you can hold your ETH for a few months or a year, when the price might touch $1000 next year, you may profit, but otherwise don't expect to make a ton of money with GPU mining.
Also, the GPUs that you have selected don't really have a good hash rate, I am buying 18 pieces of P106 (Nvidia's new Mining GPU) this week, I still don't have the price, but that will give you much better hash rate.

I'm interested in 1 or 2 units in India, depends on price and specs though.

Thanks for your efforts, they are really appreciated :-)
