successhalf, are you sure that the password is not saved anywhere, is there at least a 1% chance that you wrote it down? Also, if you remember the first password, maybe the second password is similar in number of characters and their type which could help you try brute force.
Is there a possibility that it is a password with some predictable words, numbers from your everyday life? 2016 wasn't that long ago, your best chance is to take a piece of paper and a pen and try to write down all the possible passwords that come to your mind by comparing the ones you still remember from that period.
I even forgot the email I used tried to recall I am looking for a rescan wallet.dat not bitcoin-qt |

I only remember the first password I used
after that I changed my password for the second time, Unfortunately I forgot my password
I just wanted to ask people how to recover my wallet

Do you remember anything about the password or what it could've resembled? I. E would it have had 8 characters, alphanumeric only or with special characters?
Do you know any passwords around the time also, there could be a style you've created with how you make them?

If you don't have any backup like seed phrase or private keys it will be hard to recover. Bitcoin Core wallet doesn't give you seed, but only private key and master private key. That's right, the bitcoin core doesn't provide any seed phrase [moderator's note: consecutive posts merged] |

Ну простой пример - на валлет дат приходят транзакции, но этого адреса нет в адресной книге для получения.
И не будет, в адресной книге находятся адреса только с меткой! I'm having trouble with my wallet.dat
I am looking for a wallet.dat recovery program
"recovery.exe wallet.dat >newwallet.dat"
Looks like this
Unfortunately I did not save that program
Can anybody send me or suggestion about that program

The second error was just a result of the first, so the issue is "signing" that might be cause by not having the correct private key of the used inputs.
Also, you need to be informed that your current balance isn't "final" because your client isn't synced yet,
although I highly doubt that version 0.8.5 will be able to sync.
What's keeping you from upgrading to the latest version?
You can backup the wallet and/or create a dump file if you're worried to lose your wallet if you upgrade to 0.19.0.1.
bitcoin-qt and Wallet.dat are my old found data I have tried with the new version unable to open |
