21  Economy / Economics / Re: When will more retailers accept Bitcoin on: July 31, 2017, 03:57:04 PM
So to answer the topic, there should be a constant asks about, if such a payment in bitcoins are available, to make retailers aware about the customer base.

As a consumer just ask ? "Do you accept Bitcoin ?" Business will bend over backwards to collect money from consumers.

As a business owner I give discounts for bitcoins. I would love to take bitcoins.. The amount of people who have paid me with bitcoins=0 The amount of people that have ask if I accept bitcoins=0.
22  Economy / Economics / Re: Explain on: July 31, 2017, 03:52:42 PM
What do you believe bitcoin is better than gold, explain?

It's Not.

Gold has held value for thousands of years. Bitcoin for less then 10.
23  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] Encrypted Back up Storage Company on: July 29, 2017, 03:55:37 PM
Can I bring my own back up software to this ?

You could bring your own own back up software. I would not recommend it unless you are or have a software developer very familiar with the software and are ready to support it, keep it updated, etc. It would be very stressful if windows did an update and all the sudden 1001customers have broken software and error messages on their screen.

You can bring your own software but it is all on you. I will provide the graphics and branding for it but I will not touch it.
24  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: VPN for crypto on: July 28, 2017, 02:36:58 PM
The last part is unbelievable because all of them will to log your IP for accounting, but maybe they regularly deletes them.

Once a year or so I buy 7-10 of the top VPN services just to test them out. This year more then half of them would NOT let me buy their services using a proxy.

I got a warning message such as "You are using a Proxy" "We have banned your IP" so I contacted the support and they told me they do not allow people to buy proxies using a proxy. Strange.  Huh  You sell proxies but need to track the people you are selling them to ? Very suspicious. Honey Pots ?

Here is a little more basic info on the structure and workings of the company.

The Back up software- White Label I have downloaded and tested all of the top white lablel software out there and picked out the best I could find.
A quick rundown on how white label software works.
----vvvv*If you know how white label software works you can skip this*--vvvvvvvvvvv

We will put your branding on the software so clients only see your branding. They download, install and use your labeled backup software.

You will need to open an acct with the software company buy a license They are about $140. a year. You pay a fee for each software that gets downloaded, you add your fee on top of this.
The way white label software works is you use their software, they do all the updates, patches, maintenance etc. and you put your brand on it.

Basically all you have to do is fill orders. You get a dashboard to log into from the software company and you can control all of the software that gets downloaded and keep tabs on all of your clients accts.

It gets integrated in with the website and branding so the entire customer experience is with your company.
-------------^^^^^

– So what you are bidding on --

- Wordpress Website – Images and content
- Professional logo and branding
- 8 letter branded -.com domain name
- My research and labor to put it all together
- Support in setting up software and payment processing accts

I am trying to give enough info on here for you guys to calculate a bid or see if it is worth your while. But also trying not to put too much as to leave a poor history trail for the company or give out too much info to competitors on how it is going to run and operate.

I put a decent amount of  research into all of this but I do not want to spend the time to run it and market it. So it is your gain if you want to buy it at a discounted price and run with it. It will be a great easy way to step into the backup and data storage industry. Many people also use this service as a way to get IT contract jobs.

** PM for more details on the software company, url and branding.

** The auction will end 07-07-2017 at 9:00 am CMT

Thanks for looking  Grin
26  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] Encrypted Back up Storage Company on: July 27, 2017, 09:24:48 PM
but you dont give more information?

for example, what is the programming language?
what are the minumim requirements?

without this information, no one cant place a bid

You just need to ask.
I do not want to write out massive spec sheet or post info that will be linked back to the site once it is sold. I don't want potential customers to google the company and find the listing. I want the company to have a sparkly clean web history.

I will PM you answers to your other questions.
27  Economy / Auctions / [WTS] Encrypted Back up Storage Company on: July 26, 2017, 10:20:27 PM
This business does not take much technical know how to take over and run. About the same amount of know how as it takes to move around crypto currency. It is the same concept.

I was working on this project a while back and got busy, I do not have the time or interest for it anymore and would like to get a little back and pass it on. I have a decent amount of work into the research and development into it. I would like to put the pieces together and send it off with someone.

It will take me 20+ hours to finish it off I am not willing to take less then $500.usd worth of bitcoin or monero.

If you are interested in owning a Encrypted Back up Storage Company this is a great and easy way to get in. What you get ---

1- A nice branded .com name.
2 A professionally designed logo. All the vector files included.
3  Wordpress website site, 3-5 pages all laid out for SEO and search engine performance. Graphics, professional photos and professionally written content.

I will guide you and help.
1- Set up and get access to the white label software and help you brand it with your new brand.
2- Set up and configure your storage acct that will store all the encrypted back ups.
The software license is about $100. a year. The storage is AWS S3 pay as you go and dirt cheap.

I do website design, consultation and development for a living. I will put the pieces together and help you get this set up with in a couple of weeks.

Let me know if you are interested. I can do this in 3 deposits. We can go tru an escrow if you like.
-The first deposit you will get the logo and branding files
-Second deposit you will get the website
-Final payment you will get owner ship of the domain name

** min bid $500.usd worth of bitcoin or monero

I am making some. not millions though, Playing markets is a percentage game you get back what you put in and.. can lose what you put in. I put in what I can afford to lose which is not millions.

There are big players that have millions even billions to play with. These are the people that are making the market swing.
This people make price stabile. Stuped "investors" make it unstable.

True. but if it wasn't for "Stuped" investors the price of btc would be very low.. or no existent.  it would be based on the actual practical use of bitcoins which is very low. Might even be just an open source software project where shares are worth 0.

All of the lemmings and bull raving up bitcoins on here are investors or they are just inexperienced.

-The Bulls are raving it up to get the lemmings and sheep to stay in and keep pilling money in.

-The Lemmings are the clueless sheep who believe they are in some ground level secret that will make them rich.

To be honest I am mostly interested in the technology of crypto and the blockchain. I am a tech person absorbing info and trying to find stuff valuable I can offer people with it. Sure I buy on the dips and sell on the peaks and harvest a little money while I am focused on it. Not sure how "Stuped" that is.
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HERE IS HOW THE FORK WILL HAPPEN. on: July 26, 2017, 03:16:52 PM
Yes people are making millions trading in this kind of environment.
Why you not making?

30  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Are we over complicating Bitcoin? on: July 26, 2017, 02:55:48 PM
Our goal should be to make it very simple for Granny to understand and to grow adoption. ^hmmmmmm^

I agree especially for consumers. A consumer making a purchase they do not want to jump tru hoops and have complications. They want to click a button and 3 sec later have a sign that says "Thank You" "We Appreciate Your Business". They don't want stuck transactions, 3-hour waits, figuring out where to hide private keys on their insecure windows 8, ,,,

I deal with non-tech people everyday, they do not want to know about about the inner workings they just want to click a button and have it work. Just like we don't want to open the hood of our car every time we start it. We just want turn the key and go.
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HERE IS HOW THE FORK WILL HAPPEN. on: July 26, 2017, 02:46:13 PM
webcrypt   Bitcoin is NOT making millions overnight.
Bitcoin has been around for YEARS and grown bigger and stronger, with more and more payment processes accepting it.
Not so with other currencies.   Stop trying to trash talk with your uninformed BS.

If btc has a market cap of 41,000,000,000 it drops 10% and goes up 10% in 36hrs. That is 4,100,000,000 that vanished and came back. Yes people are making millions trading in this kind of environment. Yes that is millions of dollars, hundreds of millions

It is called “Pump and Dump” people get rich from it.

You are like a noob in their first speculative bubble. Like the guy in love with all of his Bennie Babies.
32  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Investments in the media on: July 26, 2017, 02:34:33 PM
Do you think it's realistic to find investors-partners for the development of such a project? Alone, it is difficult to pull such a project financially, and for the accelerated implementation of all our plans I made decisions in search of investors.
I would like to hear your opinion: Is it worth it to invest in the media about crypto-currencies and the forum?

Forum.bit.news

I have helped people invest in media, The biggest struggle was to monetize the news site. Too many people get stuck in the trying to convert traffic it fails every time. You need quality relationships with marketing agencies or individual businesses.

Their is a need for businesses and companies to "get the word out" the right people will pay to have that word published.

IMO forums are like owning an elephant, high cost in maintenance and hosting they also take a lot to get going and difficult to monetize.
33  Economy / Services / Re: Affiliate links on: July 26, 2017, 02:21:09 PM
I am not sure about the idea of giving your idea in private. You should post the full details here so that one’s interested can join you rather than beat around the bush by providing an email and a website url.

Somethings are... complicated.
When you get the males to Ukraine they will enjoy a nite with the bride then- Next day some of "our" officers will arrest them and charge them with ___ it depends on how much money and bitcoin they can get wired to Ukraine.

Now I know you are asking "how much bitcoin" do I get Huh that's when you email Ann. Better yet jump on a plane and visit.
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HERE IS HOW THE FORK WILL HAPPEN. on: July 25, 2017, 10:04:09 PM
You know how many newbies are going to be burnt and throw fits and claim bitcoin is a scam, get ready for the news outlets to pick up on it and a price drop.

Bitcoin is extremely volatile and people are making millions over night on that. Much of the media outlets are in on it, just like Wall st. Sell just before bad news and buy just before good news. Along with other pump and dump schemes.

Just another speculative market.

Of a truth, Poloniex has become criminally silent on this and other important matters of concern. The support system has broken down and no complaints or query seem to be getting resolved lately. I am just concerned and worried that the worse may happen with Polo in days to come.

Exchanges usually have the most problems and support tickets as people try to turn crypto into cash. My guess is they are flooded with support tickets with everyone wanting to get money out and waiting for the last week, day, min to do it.

I bet all the exchanges are swamped with problems.
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin cannot replace currency in the world because price is not stable on: July 25, 2017, 03:41:49 PM
bitcoin cannot replace currency in the world because price is not stable.

currency should be more stable.

you may reply me. currency is not stable also but you should think

USD currency price is up and down 1-2% in 1 month.

bitcoin price is up and down 20% in 1 month.

what will people think if they just change USD to bitcoin then their money down 10% in 10 minutes?

bitcoin can become stock but cannot become currency

1- Fist off governments will never give up controls of the nations currency. "Give me control of a nation's money and I care not who makes it's laws"- Rothschild

Governments spend billions of dollars every year to protect their control on the currency they have armies, media, well funded agencies and decades of experience at their disposal.

2- Bitcoins decentralized structure will most likely never be stable. Decentralized structures always have conflicts, splits, take overs etc.

3- Bitcoins are not backed by anything tangible. It is like making a tiny sea shell from an obscure island a currency, it will only be worth what people think it is worth at the moment.
Governments print money from thin air but... they also have massive armies, infrastructure, agricultural production, etc to back it up.

Bitcoin is a nice little trading medium you can turn fiat into this medium do your transactions then turn it back into fiat. As far as becoming more then that,, doubt it. Governments might take over the technology and implement it on a mass scale but they are never just going to give control of that to a small group of miners or a open source software group. That is not the way governments work.
36  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: VPN for crypto on: July 25, 2017, 01:41:18 PM
I thought you were setting up your own VPN and TOR node.

Just buying a VPN service is easy, you pay for speed. You can buy them cheap but the cheap ones are usually as slow as paint drying.. I don't use VPNs services because many sites ban your IP from the exit node(similar to TOR).

I host my own VPNs with clean IPs and if I want more layers I use TOR.
37  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: VPN for crypto on: July 24, 2017, 02:36:38 PM
You will need to decide if you need managed or unmanaged.

If you know how to set up hosting you can go with unmanaged $5-10mo, they are cheap but you will need to set it up and configure it yourself.  If you need it set up and maintained you will have to go with managed hosting usually around $50.mo

I would find a host that is friendly with a TOR node. Many are, many are not. They will probably notice the strange traffic and could shut you down if they are not ok with it.

If you study computer science I would recommend trying to set up the hosting yourself.
38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why use Bitcoins ? on: July 23, 2017, 06:03:06 PM
Some very interesting Trivia:

Under the ISO standard, non-national currencies are designated by an X (no nation) followed by a two letter code. This can be precious metals, such as XAG (Silver), XAU (Gold), or XPT (Platinum). It can also be international currencies, such as XAF (African Francs), or XCD (East Caribbean Dollars).

Bitcoin is represented officially as XBT under the ISO standard. X (no nation).

Bitcoin has NO NATION...No President. No BORDERS! No Affiliation.

Cool enough? 😎

That is cool, Global.
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why use Bitcoins ? on: July 23, 2017, 03:43:47 PM
As a freelance web developer, I prefer bitcoin over fiat, as Bitcoin is safe, cheap, and secure. Bitcoin can be trade to other crypto currency. Actually its an achievement of human race to have Bitcoin as a cashless based money.

This is the position I am in. I am done accepting credit cards and paypal online then always fearing charge back scams and invasive big brother monitoring.

Do you have any payment processors you prefer ? Good billing methods ? I am looking to make it easy as possible for clients and customers. I would really like to find a processor that would do the cash conversion to bitcoin all in one stop for the customer.
40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why use Bitcoins ? on: July 22, 2017, 09:09:55 PM
It looks like you do not even have a clue about investments and other stuffs,

What make you think I "do not even have a clue about investments" ? I think you might not have a clue. Is this your first speculative bubble ?

I have made lots of investments and seen lots of speculative bubbles come crashing down. Bennie Babbies, Enron, Dotcom Bubble,,, lots of hype - lots of lemmings.
They have one thing in common the price gets bid up but they have no real use. Sound familiar.

i am not sure what you mean by average consumer,

The average consumer is the billions of people who spend and send money digitally. They spend a decent percentage of their money on online purchases tru Amazon, Ebay, large corporate websites. Currently they are using and spending tru Paypal, Visa, MasterCard.
