1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Is it possible to deposit money over the counter when buying on Binance P2P? on: May 23, 2022, 04:46:33 PM
When buying crypto on Binance P2P and a seller has either bank transfer or the name of their bank as payment method, and you opt for either one of them, is it possible to deposit the money to their account directly at their bank branch over the counter through the teller? Or do you have to send it to their bank electronically?

3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / So my portfolio is down %70...too late to pull back now I guess on: May 21, 2022, 05:40:18 PM
This downtrend has been detrimental to my health (mental health). Exactly %70 just now. No lunch money type of money either.

Have we ever experienced this kind of downtrend before?? What's the latest on how long this might last, or if it's even going to recover.
4  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How can I remove this on Trandingview? on: December 18, 2021, 12:46:53 PM
On the website if you mouse over the "Vol" label at the top left of your screen you can choose to hide or remove entirely the volume indicators.

From your screen shot, it looks like the eye symbol next to "Vol 20" at the top left should achieve the same thing.

Yep! The eye it was indeed! Thank you so much!

I think I've gone through everything, can't find it. This is on the app.
Talking about those bars at the bottom.
6  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How can I trade by entering the amount in the currency Im buying with in Kucoin? on: December 17, 2021, 03:48:33 PM
Why not manually...?

Because it's much more easier (and efficient) to do it the OP way

8  Economy / Services / Is it me or is FTX Pro app EXTREMELY slow? on: December 04, 2021, 10:38:29 PM
It's not usable on my end. Page takes up to 5 minutes to update. Anyone using it can give feedback?
9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Kucoin vs FTX...which one do you recommend? on: November 10, 2021, 12:08:14 PM

Is it true that I cannot withdraw fiat from Kucoin to a bank account, whereas on FTX it is possible to do so but you'd have to be fully verified?

It depends on what fiat currency you are withdrawing. They have same feature in terms of withdrawal capacity. The only edge of FTX is there leverage trading since its an advance version and that's the FTX arsenal feature. But Kucoin list gem coin more often since FTX is very careful on selecting the coin that they will list compared to Kucoin.

I suggest that you should indicate too your preferred feature of an exchange so that we can recommend a proper exchange that suitable for your taste. We can put all the features here but it will be hard for you to assess if you are still new.

Just spot and limit orders.
It says on their site that they do not support fiat withdrawals (kucoin). Just read it before posting the above but can't find it for some reason.
10  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Kucoin vs FTX...which one do you recommend? on: November 10, 2021, 11:28:50 AM
Actually, I never heard about FTX before until someone talks about it recently there is an app called Blockfolio it's a portfolio tracking tool and now become FTX.
What I heard before with this exchange is that the Bitcoin withdrawal fee is free compared to Kucoin that deducts mining fees for withdrawal.

FTX is now changed its mind about unverified users and you can't able to deposit, trade, and withdraw if you are not KYC verified but their teir 1 KYC verification doesn't need any government IDs and only take name and address to become tier 1 KYC verified but the withdrawal limit is around $2000.

Unlike Kucoin that you can still able to withdraw around 1BTC limit daily without KYC which is big enough compared to FTX.

Honestly, never use FTX so I can't decide how good they are but as I said above FTX is new to me that is why I don't know if how good FTX exchange is the only advantage of this exchange is that the Bitcoin withdrawal fee is free.

I already trade on Kucoin as a non-verified user so Kucoin would be still the best choice compared to FTX due to the withdrawal limit and there are more coins and pairs that you can trade compared to FTX.

FTX:
  • Cheap/free withdrawals, capped at $2000 per day without KYC
  • A bit more regulatory friendly, probably a lot less likely to get pursued by the authorities
  • Overall great reputation

KuCoin:
  • Existed longer
  • Far higher withdrawal limits
  • Probably somewhat close to Binance in terms of the likeliness of them pissing off the regulators

Is it true that I cannot withdraw fiat from Kucoin to a bank account, whereas on FTX it is possible to do so but you'd have to be fully verified?
11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Kucoin vs FTX...which one do you recommend? on: November 10, 2021, 05:12:38 AM
And why?
12  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there a 'reputable' exchange that doesn't require KYC to trade? on: November 09, 2021, 03:44:34 PM
btw to get specially lower withdrawal fees i wanna deposit in ftx exchange, btw i see difficulty there, i can not make deposit for asking kyc.
than i submitted kyc and it's reviewing 20 days till now there are no response to exchange.

Not sure what you're trying to say, but if you meant that you can't submit without KYC, then you're probably currently residing in the United States? I've been using it for a while without the need of AML/KYC for a while now.

Any particular reason why you prefer FTX over Kucoin?
Kucoin seems to be more talked about (and praised)
13  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there a 'reputable' exchange that doesn't require KYC to trade? on: November 09, 2021, 01:50:24 PM

Almost every exchange today will ask KYC. The reason why they won't ask is if you are not going to exceed the limits on the withdrawal amount. The only you could do it if you are going to withdraw a huge amount I guess is on DEX.  The DEXES however are more on ETH.

Like how Binance used to be before they implemented mandatory KYC not too long ago?
Kucoin.

1 btc limit per day for unverified users.

--> https://www.kucoin.com/news/announcement-regarding-the-adjustment-of-daily-withdrawal-limit

1BTC for unverified users is good enough to use comp[are to binance that you are only allowed with 0.06BTC. The majority I guess allows 1BTC except for binance.

Which majority?

15  Economy / Speculation / How do you explain the October pump? on: October 08, 2021, 09:24:47 PM
Everyone was blaming September for the dip like it was a dip holiday and just waiting for October for the pump. And as soon as October came - and I mean literally, like the first day of October - prices started to go up and it started to pump. How??
16  Other / Meta / What is the main reason you don't come to this website more often? on: September 26, 2021, 01:28:09 PM
For me, it's the lack of mobile view. I like this place, more than any website I use (and I use a lot) but having to zoom in and out and move the screen with the text to read is just as painful as nails on chalkboard. I'm very surprised that this website doesn't have mobile view. Its the only website I know that doesn't. Considering how big it is...it's crazy.
17  Economy / Trading Discussion / Does anyone know of a real-time portfolio tracker app? on: September 24, 2021, 05:42:16 PM
Example:

Looking for a portfolio app that shows assets in real-time. Not every sec or a fraction of a sec, but actual real time = as it happens and without any manual intervention. Like this.

NOT the following apps...

Accointing
Binance
Blockfolio (FTX)
Coin Market Cap
Coin Tracker
CoinGecko
CoinStats
CoinTracking
Crypto News
Crypto Portfolio Tracker
Crypto Tracker & Bitcoin Price
Delta
The Crypto App
Trading View
Vertfolio

I've already tried them. None of them are real time.

Only one app I managed to find is; HODL. But unfortunately it's sluggish and its alert options are very limited. So looking for something else.

Appreciate any pointers!
18  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does the Biance app list your crypto in your portfolio like this? (see pic) on: September 23, 2021, 06:05:41 PM
Or another app that tracks only the prices or portfolio tracker only?
Yeah it's this. Both...tracks prices and portfolio. App's name is HODL. That's the one on the screenshot above. I was asking if the app Binance (where you can do trades) can also track your crypto in the same way as HODL (which is live).

you are looking for altnative of portfolio tracker, you can try Blockfolio for tracking your portfolio.
Blockfolio is not real-time/live. Stupid if you ask me.
19  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it too late to buy? on: September 23, 2021, 05:28:58 PM
This is one of the examples of telling people "I will buy once it will dump and dip".
Emotions, when the price is already pumped or high for you, you are telling yourself to buy when it will pull back or dump.
This is difficult and I admit that I am always experiencing this. We don't know how deep the dip is.

That's why the best thing to do when you want buy the dip, try to not do 1 buy or all in, try to average it on multiple buy orders incase there are/is more dip or no more dip. Just my 2 cents.
Actually when bitcoin or altcoin price pump many trader or investors hope bitcoin or altcoin price could dip few while to buy back, but when the moment of price dip why many trader or investor not brave for buy back and try to add bag with many altcoin choose. Later when price have recovery and bitcoin back to higher again we found many disappointed from investor or trader statement, why not buy back yesterday when bitcoin and altcoin still dump. They have not brave when get chance and always fraud with bitcoin dump, how ever that the good beginning to buy back when price dump.

I'll answer for me. Thought the dip would last longer and that it will continue dipping like what usually tends to happen in such cases.
20  Economy / Trading Discussion / Is it too late to buy? on: September 23, 2021, 03:26:56 PM
The dip a couple of days ago was beautiful but unfortunately I didn't take advantage as much as I should have. Is right now I bad time to go in? Should I wait for another dip? Thinking of getting several coins. Goal is very short time investment.
