241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: February 15, 2018, 11:43:48 AM
I'm optimistic future bitcoin will be brilliant, this is because the users continue to increase so as to make the price continues to rise. I'm sure the prices this year would reach over $2500/btc.

Change is inevitable. The future of bitcoin is unpredictable. It might be a boom or nah. It might be well-known all over the world or might lose its popularity.   The price could up and could down. But as long as there would be many bitcoin users there would bitcoin.

Couldn’t agree more, as for the record the bitcoin is still unstable. It does not have a specific or even stable value. Bitcoin may be good as for now but what is in the future is still not clearly visible.
242  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are some disadvantages of BTC? on: February 15, 2018, 11:13:12 AM
There are few things that make bitcoin not a perfect coin. Bitcoin is very unpredictable, one wrong move will lead you to a big lose of money. Another disadvantage of it is you cant buy goods using bitcoin because it is not yet accepted in other countries.

Lack of awareness and knowlegde of other people about the bitcoin is one of the reason why you cannot buy good using bitcoin. Not all people can relate and understand what the bitcoin is. Its instability is also one of its advantages.
243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: January 19, 2018, 01:35:56 PM

245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The advantages of bitcoin on: January 19, 2018, 01:08:20 PM
For me, Bitcoin has many advantages, one advantage is it gives to the individual money to sustain the basic needs, It also reduce the increasing number of unemployed in some countries, The people who work in bitcoin develops the ability to reason out, enhanced the English proficiency, that's the some advantage of bitcoin.
One of the most advantageous thing about the bitcoin is gaining a money in an easy way. Its value can rise up and resulting for a huge amount of money.
246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest regret about bitcoin on: January 19, 2018, 12:51:54 PM
My biggest regret is when I got introduced to this back in 2012, I tried to buy £200 worth, the platform was down and I never bothered, just recently woke up to it again at over £4k per coin, it is a physiological thing where I don't want to buy at that price.
The biggest regret about in Bitcoin is that I did not start right away after being introduce to this world.
247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What impresses you the most about Bitcoin? on: January 19, 2018, 12:29:13 PM
I know a lot of people have different reason why the love and embrace bitcoin.
For me the decentralized nature of bitcoin and the thought of being able to send coins to anybody in any part of the word, no third party, no regulation(specific amount), no bullshit is mind blowing.

The thing that make me impress about bitcoin is the profit. Bitcoin is an easy way to accumulate huge amount of money.
248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can any government ban Bitcoin? on: January 19, 2018, 12:22:20 PM
yes they have the power to ban bitcoin in each country because they are in the highest rank in each country. but people will try to find other way to use bitcoin because they get lot of money for working with other crypto
Yes, you’re definitely right. There are already some country country that banned the Bitcoin like for example is China.
249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: January 19, 2018, 12:00:21 PM
Bitcoin will NEVER die
On the contrary to your statement, some countries banned the use of bitcoin. Banning the bitcoin all of the countries is one of the factor that will make the bitcoin die.
250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm gonna sell my house on: January 18, 2018, 09:25:32 PM
I think it is bad idea to sell everything for criptocurrency.
I kinda agree with your statement. As of now Bitcoin is still uncertain and selling your for it is kinda reckless.
251  Economy / Economics / Re: Does this mean Cash will be extinct? on: January 17, 2018, 01:13:15 PM
Sweden is contemplating to stop using cash by 2023, does this mean cash might be extinct if other countries follow suit?

https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2017/10/sweden-could-stop-using-cash-by-2023?utm_content=buffer40bef&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer
I doubt that it will lead for cash to be totally useless. We still don't know if all countries will do the same thing. Bitcoin is already legal to some countries but in those countries, cash or regular currency is still being used. Cash has a huge role to play in the lives of people since there are people that prefer it than digital currencies.
252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where can I find Bitcoin basics to learn Bitcoin trading? on: December 10, 2017, 07:05:59 AM
Where can I find Bitcoin basics to learn Bitcoin trading?
Everything you need to know is on this forum. You may go trhough different threads to know things as such. Also, you may observe how things are going in trading since it is believed to be risky. Know the background if what you are trading with. So all in all, basics, instructions and the things related with trading or in cryptocurrency itself, can be found in this forum.
253  Economy / Economics / Re: STOP #HODL go #INWEST on: December 10, 2017, 06:32:11 AM
Do not #HODL go #INWEST support start-ups

Only investment is healthy and makes any asset useful

This is true for $, gold, bitcoin or any other asset, fiat, basis coin

HODLing under mattress in hope that speculations will make you rich is nonsense killing the economic and technical progress

USE it or you will LOSE it

#Bitcoin HODLer nowadays look like old people holding their assets under the mattress instead of investing into crypto currency world.

Even if somebody decides to go #INWEST into something new #hodlers starting a shitstorm, because these cocky shitless pensioners simply scared to lose without understanding what all crypto technologies are about.

Imagine what we can reach with current 200 Billion Market capital if at least 10% of it will be on USE #INWESTed into different projects changing the world.

I am really upset to see how bitcoin is becaming just another shity speculation object of wall street - they are all alteady preparing their "future" trading, frequent trading, margin trading instruments to enter the crypto world and SPOIL it, like it is in money market going on: only speculation and no any interest on where you invest and why.
I think investing and holding are interconnected especially here in crypto world. An investor would typically invest to a certain coin and would hold it for a long period of time. It cannot be investing then sell it already because i think it will fall under trading.. So the best thing is to hold and invest.
254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin an asset or a currency? on: December 10, 2017, 06:09:38 AM

Seems many people treat bitcoin like an asset given how much it's gone up over the last year or so. But some academics disagree with that assessment. If it is to be treated as a currency, it will need to stabilize to be of use.

https://www.cnbc.com/2017/10/24/nyus-dean-of-valuation-says-bitcoin-is-a-currency.html
I think it is more of a currency since the main function of Bitcoin is to be used as a digital cutrency. It is now considered as investment or asset becauae irs price from the market is continuously growing higher than any ither currencies either fiat or other digital currencies. The increase gives its users and investors profit. So that's the idea of it.
255  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin Volatility A Bad Thing? on: December 10, 2017, 04:24:35 AM
Steam dropped bitcoin support citing "high volatility" as a motive.

When amazon stock jumped from $18 to $1,200 over a period of years, was this high volatility a bad thing?

If bitcoin's value increases from $6,000 to $16,000 over a period of months, and HODL'ers benefit, this high volatility is bad?

Where does the idea of high volatility being an unnecessary evil come from?

Are there good arguments or evidence which support the concept of high volatility being a negative circumstance?

In a sense, volatility simply means the price of something moves a lot, its not that bad if the vast majority of motion is in an upward direction?

 Huh Huh Huh
In my opinion it is not a bad thing. I am an investor who takes advantage of its volatility. Volatility in Bitcoin refers to change on its market value. The way I benefit is buying when its market price is falling and then buying or investing as its price rises. Maybe for some people it is a bad thing, especially to users.
256  Economy / Speculation / Re: NOW IS THE TIME TO BUY!! on: December 10, 2017, 04:05:10 AM
everyone is panicking because it’s hitting Wall Street tomorrow ..... fact of the matter is, price will still reach 25k range by January since Bitcoin will remain a growing commodity.. and once big investors start pumping huge money into it, the takeoff is inevitable. Buy now or you’ll soon regret it.. all these talks of a crash by people who missed the boat is striking lots of fear in people, but it’s fear that’s not rooted in reality.

Don’t say i didn’t warn you folks.
I agree with you. The market price of Bitcoin is continuously increasing and surely, it wikl be a total advantage of holding and investing at this point to earn huge profit in the future since it is expected based on the market statistics of Bitcoin that its price in the market will be higher than now.
257  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: December 09, 2017, 01:08:37 PM
Nope
Not a single currency that is decentralized could end the world poverty. Indeed, Butcoin is really profitable to most of its users and investors but knowing that it is not recognized to some countries, I thibk it is not possible to be the key on ending poverty on the whole world. It is just a currency and people are the ones who are responsible to that"end"
258  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin digital gold or digital cash? on: December 09, 2017, 12:32:39 PM
Answers to this question are constantly posted on this forum and on Reddit by people who are not software engineers/developers, nor product managers. Either that or they are truly terrible at their jobs. Reddit in particular has really turned into a garbage dump, but that's something for another discussion.

Anyway, in a business context you want to build software that meets your customer's expectations, so understanding how a user makes use of your software solution is really important for smooth communication and shared understanding between management, marketing and engineering. Normally you want to write out really detailed user stories/journeys, maybe even draw diagrams or create mock-ups that demonstrate the exact problem you're trying to solve and how your thing will solve it.

Here's a teaser:

Alice is at a farmer's market and wants to buy broccoli from a vendor. How does she pay?

Here are just a few important details that we need to know first:

- What country is Alice in, and what are the economic conditions?
- How much money does she make every year/how well off is she?
- How technologically sophisticated is she/how old is she?
- What tastes and preferences does Alice have/what prejudices her in certain ways?

We need a lot more information before we start talking about what BIP we can code up in a day. If you think about these questions only from your own perspective and experience, you're discounting the majority of people on this planet that want to use the same technology. Bitcoin's value depends mainly on how many people can safely use it, and if it's not in use by the largest number of people possible, it will not achieve it's full potential/value.

The correct answer to the question in this poll is "it depends". Bitcoin is for humans, and humans have different needs. Most likely every redditor and bitcoin.org poster's favorite potential use case, "in-person payments at high volume merchants", will not be satisfied by Bitcoin directly. Use something else for that one narrow use case if Bitcoin isn't doing it for you, and support the engineers who are working to make Bitcoin more secure and stable, goddamnit  Grin

I agree with the things that are mentioned. Bitcoin is both or either a digital gold or digital cash. It can be considered as a gold because of its expensive market value which makes it a good asset and investment. It can br called as a digital cash since in the first place, Bitcoin is a digital currency.
259  Economy / Economics / Re: Will there ever be a Bitcoin Bank on: December 09, 2017, 11:58:16 AM
Does anyone on here think that there is ever going to be Bitcoin Bank, be it something which is centralized or something which isn't really doesn't matter. But I'd think of this as a company, or a union (like one of those credit union banks) where loans would be given out to people with trust, money is held, and so on and so forth.

I know many think that they can escape banks, but they are insanely helpful and trustworthy for many everyday people who we'd want to join into the BTC community.
Possible but I am not sure o  what will be its function since there are wallets where users and investors may store their Bitcoin for a long period of time. Given that Banks are under the government while Bitcoin is nit because it is decentralized, makes it dofficult to believe that it will exist in the future. But let's just see it for ourselves.
260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you surprise by bitcoin price now? on: December 09, 2017, 10:35:02 AM
October 29, 2017 Bitcoin price ranges from $6,000 - $6,100 and today, bitcoin price is now $7,000. Are you surprise?

I think, if only those people who planning to invest in bitcoin manage to notice this sudden increase. I think there is a high chance that they will start investing.

Yes I definitely am. I never thought that it will be able to reach a value of 10000 USD before this year end but what is happening right now exc3eded my expectations from Butcoin. It now reached 12000 USD and is expected to be more expensive before this year end. Some people are saying that it will reach 15000 uSD and that excites me the most.
