He is right, for me anyway Bitcoin mining is dead.
Using dustcoin to calc my set up of 1200mh/kh 600w power and 0.23c power costs.
I in fact lose $19.70 a month, with litecoin I am making $33.90 a month.
So in a sense he right about Bitcoin, go low powered hardware AKA asics or it's not worth it unless power is free. However he is wrong about litecoin, it still has plenty of room to grow into.

Lets face it, BTC is going to die sooner or later for GPU miners. As a few have said, anything SHA based is pretty much stuffed.
Then scrypt will face similar problems with the increase of GPU miners switching, difficulty will increase making it harder for small time miners to stay in. Only the heavy hitters will stay afloat.

Although cash deposits seem to be down for the weekend, BitInstant is a great service for buying bitcoins with cash. I think you could also purchase them with your PayPay debit card.
And yeah, I guess you would think $113 "is fair enough" - for YOU maybe!
Cool. Thanks for that, I will look into it.

I am aware of the issues around Paypal, but it is the only means which I have at the moment until I get the cash out of it.
I also know that you need to heavily trust the person you are dealing with, but how can you get to trust someone with out giving them a chance to prove them self?
Go get a job and stop scamming people. Say what you want, but I am not trying to scam anyone. Thanks for your time anyway.

Hey guys, I have landed my self in a bit of a predicament.
Firstly, I sold my LTC then converted to BTC then cashed it out to Paypal to prove to friends and family that money can be made from Bitcoin etc. Now I am trying to get the cash back into BTC and onto the exchanges, since many of them don't use Paypal as a means of deposit it's a pain in the ass.
So based on the current prices from BTC-E ($110.48 as of this post) I think $113 is fair enough. So just post or PM me and we can sort something out.
Thanks.

Litecoin is really one of the only "Stable" alt currency, out side of that it's just all pump and dump coins.
Nova and Terra are the next in line if anything.

Sure you may be able to get 300mh...but at the power cost to run a Titan full load...There will 0 if not very little profitability. It's just easier to set a dedicated rig with AMD cards.

You can try checking Windows event logs for the cause, or the AMD 13.5 beta driver.
Nothing in-terms of errors or notifications. Just the standard Audit and Information stuff. Trying 13.5 now. I had that happen with bitcoin - the card was overheating. had to force the fan to go 90%
All temps are fine, 75 Celsius for 7950 71 for 6870 When it does work for atleast 10mins I get massive fluctuations..

Hey guys,
So I went out of got a new GPU and PSU for my miner, chucked them in and installed drivers. After running GUIMiner -scrypt (Litecoin) for about 10mins the system would just black screen and become unresponsive. Any idea's on what could be causing the problem?
System: AMD phenom II x4 945 Mobo: Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3 (Rv 1.0) PSU: (New) ThermalTake Smart 750w bronze GPUs: Gigabyte HD 7950 (New) GPU: MSI HD 6870
Using Catalyst 13.4 as drivers. I have tried switching PCI-E slots and it yields no difference, also in GUIMiner the 6870 forces it self to be [0-0] despite being on the bottom slot
Thank you for your time.
