I have been syncing CDY for nearly a month, still behind. With the upgrade, i had to download new wallet and start syncing again. Is there any blockchain.zip to download? Any other persons having trouble syncing? thx

.) I do a lot of airdrops, most use Telegram nowadays, with a lot of projects waiting ages to airdrop, my Telegram is full and i'm waiting for spots to open so i can continue, still some airdrop after months.

You should try Tether.io, but i've been trying for some time for their wallet, they haven't been excepting any new registrations, maybe the Openledger/trezor wallet has Tether but i don't know that. There still might be other options like Coinomi etc, but i am also looking for my own desktop Tether wallet like you, don't want to be dependant on exchanges.

Google is also stopping advertisements of Cryptocoins from june 2018, Facebook has announced it about ICO's, but i still see announcements and airdrops, wait and see.

I've read it, first thing that came to mind, i have a support ticket nearly a year old, which is under constant "being processed", my fault though. Let's wait and see.

Usually I stay away from people that request me to send them anything (even 0 ETH) in order to receive the Airdrop or the Bounty. I don't know if you guys saw, but on Vitalik's Twitter page, there is some guy that is impersonating him and asks people to send 0.3-0.7 ETH to his address and he promises it will give them 3-7 ETH back. All lies of course, that scammers made a few hundred bucks. So stay away from this type of "Bounties" or "Airdrops". [/quote]
There are a couple more impersenators, John McAfee has one, also asking for and promising. John McAfee has exposed some on Twitter calling them frauds.
I leave those airdrops for what they are, lot's of airdrops the last time, don't even distribute, so certainly not going to send anything myself. Lot's more to come so i'll be fine with the ones that do drop for free.

You can still use Dogecoinfaucets, they have been around for years, like the Moondoge faucet, you can get 100 Doge easy and see what it is all about. Nothing wrong with the coin, not much happening though. Dogecoin basicly has a fast wallet and low transactioncosts, so it's also used to change other currencies into and send them around as Doge.

It's incredible to see how project after project picks up a way of doing things that's trending, now there are countless Telegrambounties, lot's of Chinese projects using this method, before a standard form that was used by many projects, it changes so fast.

It was the best of times it was the worst of times, good time to buy now, but i haven't the funds, so HODL, one of the rules in Crypto, otherwise you'll keep losing on your investments.

Actually i am a bit, but more inpatient for what might come, i think the future is only just starting, so i'm not that afraid, more afraid of missing out, cause my hands are tight in past buys. Which i wont let go without profit, or getting rid of my loss, so unable to get into new projects.

You can send coins through MEW, there is some overload the last days with Ethereum transactions and token, but still a good place is Etherdelta in combination with Metamask(on Chrome). The prices of Gwei are a bit volatile these days, used to be 9 Gwei and not sure if transactions go through so i'm also like told above going to check the tokens on coinmarket and see what the best options for trading are.
Other places to just check balances are Etherscan and Deltabalances.
|
|
|
Also having some problems of late with Etherdelta, last week i managed to get by with 8Gwei, but from the weekend on, i had to increase and most transactions fail or get rejected, so i'm going to wait and see, for things to get better. I thought because of the rising Eth price, the transactions have risen, hence traffic etc.

I really don’t understand how lots of people still thinking that airdrops are profitable. For me, most of them just wasted my time, i don’t even try to catch a good one recently That's true, i spend a lot of time looking for them, half don't get distributed, others just stay around zero value, but if like me you don't invest with fiat, you can make a few(when lucky more) bucks.

They are, if you invest some time in following the airdrops, through loads of channels, like Airdrop advisor(airdrop alerts) on internet, or use a 'crypto airdrop' search function on Twitter, 1 in 10 for exemple gives you a good value to hold or sell. Best i had recently were Storm token, Sugarexchange and EXMR, a few others. So if you have the time why not, they come free. Also curious about the POWtoken airdrop.

Ethereum is going higher, but now is just the time that the price has gone up high, perhaps wait and see, what the whole BTC-Ethereum market is doing (feels like the last weeks, something is stirring.) Perhaps try some Erc-token airdrops with your Ethereumwallet, you can build up some Ethereum, when you sell the tokens.?

Authorship, same here, i didn't worry about it, only had like 100 or so coming, also received the confirmationmail, now i hear their project is evolving and a topic appears on this forum, still yes, well it was quite a lot of hassle with a lot of people at the time of the drop.
Went through my mail and saw i still have the 3books coupon they intended instead of the drop, or 75 ATS, i'm going to forget all about this project.

Cryptopia was slower yesterday, also had some errormessages, after a nights rest, had to log in again, but it's back working fine, maybe maintenance or to much traffic?

There is a Piggycoin and a token, don't mix them up, you will have to sell your tokens on a token-exchange then use the Eth to buy Piggy, there are a lot of tokens with the same name, often not related at all. You are lucky the transaction was denied.
|
|
|
I would use an exchange, not sure about the fees but if you just want it on a personal wallet without the transactionfees after the trade use Shapeshift, i've used it in the past. You can see how much you get using Shapeshift, so... it's a wellknown service. (copy your transaction id's, just to be sure.)
