61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ethereum fail if Vitalik dies? on: November 13, 2018, 08:14:09 PM
I don't think so. Any alternate coin should not be dependent on just one guy. It made no sense if it does as crypto currency should be available to anyone. Monopoly shouldn't be practice on any form of investment and crypto is not an exemption. Also, if Vitalik dies, I believe that his assets are already set to be transferred to any person he desired.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will 90 percent of the coins die? on: November 13, 2018, 06:39:33 PM
90% is a very high number. You might want to narrow it down to at least 50%. If you look at the price right now, even if its low, there are still a lot of coins and only a few of them are dying. Some coins are being delisted on exchanges because of the low demand. For me, that is when a coin dies. There's still over a thousand coins on the market and the coins are surviving even on a bad situation.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRUST WALLET - is a good alternative to MEW on: November 13, 2018, 02:55:03 PM
I disagree. I've been using MEW for a few years and I never had issues with it. Yes, it can be a hassle sending a coin because the transactions are not going through but MEW is not to blame on that one. It should be the blockchain technology. Although it is a good thing that there are alternatives on MEW, it will still be the same if hackers were able to access your private key.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The most profitable bounty tasks on: November 12, 2018, 07:28:46 PM
For me, the most profitable will be signature campaign. Majority of the bounty campaign has a high allocation when it comes to bounty. The only disadvantage is that a user can only have one signature per bounty. Unlike social media campaign wherein you can join as many bounties as you can. If we are talking about per bounty and not by the number of campaigns, signature should be at the top of the list.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple buy or not? on: November 12, 2018, 06:52:31 PM
If I will be using your money, I will buy Ripple and Ethereum for now. I won't recommend investing on low tier coins for now as the market is bear and price decrease can happen anytime. Those two coins are a safer bet than other coins as they are expected to recover every time the price goes lower. However, it will require time but it is much better than any other alternate coin. Ethereum specifically is a good buy because its around $200.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fake ico and bounty on: November 12, 2018, 02:58:52 PM
For me, it is very hard for me to spot a scam ICO. I joined some bounty that were just procrastinating the process. I hate to say this but scam ICO's are good with delaying tactics and for its better to join an ICO at later part of it so that  you will know how the team work. If they are delaying things, most likely they are a scam or they will fail. Scam ICO's are getting good at what they do so we need to be wise about joining an ICO.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: does ethereum end? on: November 09, 2018, 09:53:24 PM
Low price doesn't mean that the coin/token will die. In the case of ethereum, I always believe that it will recover and it is possible that the price decrease can be a blessing in disguise when Ethereum starts to recover. Don\t forget that Ethereum is the number 2 coin and a lot of coin were relying on ERC20 platform. Crypto currency will collapse without ethereum.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies will make you rich overnight? on: November 09, 2018, 09:25:53 PM
In my opinion, there is no such coin that can make you rich overnight. Unless you got lucky buying a coin and it immediately pumps up overnight. If you really want to be rich that fast, then crypto might not be for you since crypto requires you to be well informed on the coin.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet hacking is it possible? on: November 08, 2018, 10:04:32 PM
Wallet hacking is possible. Most of the time hackers will use phishing sites to get the private key and wallet password. Its an old trick but a lot of people are getting caught with it. They are too complacent and thinking that the same thing won't happen. Although the chances of getting hacked were slim. I still think that we should be aware of the URL and make sure to use a computer or a smartphone for wallets only.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Worst year of trading for me damn on: November 07, 2018, 10:37:15 PM
I think same thing applies for everyone. 2018 is the worst year for trading even if we hit the bull run last year. One spike doesn't even up the multiple events of price going down. Also the bear market is too long and it felt tiring if you are a trader. There is a thought at back of your mind that you should stop trading and try other forms of investment. The life of a trader now, sad but its true.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MyEtherWallet Password on: November 07, 2018, 10:29:18 PM
If you lost your password then there is no helping you. MEW doesn't have a forgot password feature and I think same thing applies on other platforms when creating a new wallet. That is why I always store my private key and password because there is no way of retrieving it even if you contact the team or technical support of the wallet.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Don't panic sell on: November 07, 2018, 10:17:01 PM
Yes, I agree. Whatever we are experiencing on Ethereum's price this year, we will surely be happy and thankful that we bought while its cheap. It is expected to recover by next year so I would suggest increasing the number of coin in hand. Now, the subject says panic selling. In my opinion, it will never be a solution and can result to lost of gains. Panicking can affect our decision making and it usually wrong.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum 2.0 is coming soon on: November 05, 2018, 04:46:36 PM
I am excited for this to happen but one question comes to my mind when I read this. What will happen to Ethereum if Ethereum 2.0 launched?. I don't Ethereum 1.0 will die because there are thousands of coins dependent on its platform. In fact, I believe the the alternate crypto currency world will stumble if ETH disappears. It's like the heart of crypto.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe in Ripple? on: November 05, 2018, 04:25:36 PM
Yes. I always believe on ripple. In fact, I was able to be part of the last price pump. I am happy that I hodl ripple because there was a time that I am about to give up but I didn't even if I badly needed the money for it. I was actually behind my bills payment when the price pump happens. When I sold my XRP, I paid all of them in one GO. Wait for ripple to go down then hodl it. Maybe its your time to experience the price pump.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you selective when you participating in ICOs? on: November 04, 2018, 12:57:35 PM
It is a must to be picky on ICO's that we were joining. As a bounty hunter, it is hard for me to accept if the ICO turns out to be  scam. The months of labor will be for nothing. So what I did was to do some research on the ICO so that I won't blame myself in case something bad happen. I always look at the bounty manager first then information about the ICO.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why so many scam ico these days? on: November 04, 2018, 05:48:55 AM
The answer as to why there are scam ICO's is simple. NO ONE is getting caught doing it and that is why a lot of scammers does it as well. I never heard of anyone caught doing these scams. Even those CEO are getting away with the money with bo case filed against him.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We can’t trust anyone! on: November 04, 2018, 05:08:01 AM
I agree. ICO ratings means no bearing since they are being  paid or sponspored by ICO's themselves. The sad rhing is that they deny it but in reality they make a living by telling lies. How could someone rate a coin if the product is not being tested yet. ICO ratings are lies. If you notice, scam ICO's always have a high rating by trusted reviews.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The best wallet for cryptocurrency storage on: November 03, 2018, 02:47:06 PM
I've been using Myetherwallet since I started crypto and I haven't gottentl any problem ever since. The trick is simple  just bookmark MEW website so that you won't get phished on phishing sites. I also try to store my coin on exchange were it is listed and no issue with that as well. The repoted issus on wallet were one to million so no need to be picky on were to store it.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hold or Trade? on: November 03, 2018, 02:30:19 PM
It depends if you really needed the money. There is no stopping you from selling but I would not recommend selling now since the bear market is still on going and it might stay for a long time. What I always tell my friends is not to invest with the money they needed, invest on the money you can afford to lose.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum for holding now on: November 01, 2018, 07:53:08 PM
If we base it on the price. I would say that ethereum is a good buy since the price is at its lowest. Bitcoin's price is stable and for me it will take a lot of risk if you now since there are no major movements for bitcoin. Always assume the worst when it comes to trading especially if you are not planning to hold long term.
