1  Economy / Economics / Re: Investment in Bitcoin vs Investment in Education? on: September 16, 2018, 03:46:19 AM
I think education and bitcoin is two different thing but can invest both at the same time. While investing in education, invest also on bitcoin. Education is important because you can use it on your whole life and the knowledge that you can gain cannot be taken from you. While bitcoin is profitable but we don’t know how long it will stay.
2  Economy / Economics / Re: popularity of bitcoin dictates demand, means more profit on: September 16, 2018, 02:36:48 AM
The price is falling right now but it doesn't mean that Bitcon became less popular. People are just scared of those red days and keep on selling.
Many reason's for this downfall of price but once demand increase price does. Yes scared to invest and do panic selling. It could creates more profit when people more hopes and believes in bitcoin.
Yes, I agree with you. Falling price doesn’t mean it was less popular. The price of bitcoin is volatile so it always fluctuates and people are just panicking and keeps selling their bitcoin. But to gain more profit people should not panicked and believes in bitcoin. The more people believes in bitcoin the more people will be attracted to it then more profit can come.
3  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do older people like investing in Gold/Silver? on: September 16, 2018, 02:22:38 AM
I think it was because the older people don’t want to risk to much like on gold that only has a little risk. They invest in gold because they don’t trust the other tool for investment and they prefer the old one and crypto currency is new to them that also has a big risk.
4  Economy / Economics / Re: what is the future of virtual currency like bitcoin ? on: September 16, 2018, 02:02:27 AM
The future for digital cryptocurrency is bright as the sun because the market is open for this kind of financial instruments. I am sure that this is not a trend, it is the evolution of the world wide economy.
I also believe that the future of digital cryptocurrency is bright. Many people who knows and accept cryptocurrencies are increasing. The market can accept any of it. And also many investors are willing to invest in crypto because they know the chance to gain is big and they are doing that with a smart mind.
5  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Reasons Why Many Families Are Feeling Extreme Financial Stress on: September 16, 2018, 01:43:30 AM
low income, expensive price for daily needs, the high cost of education because high inflation will always be the main problem for every families in the world including US especially for poor families they always be thinking how to feed their families daily even With uncertain income that's why they will feeling Financial Stress everyday however
What you stated are all true. Most families are stress financially every day because their income was very low but the price of their personal needs are increasing daily such as foods, clothes, electricity etc.
Some families are not good in managing their money so that they can have financial stress. They spend their money on the least important for them so when the time that they need it they have not enough money for that.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: When will people feel comfortable using BTC ? on: September 15, 2018, 02:56:37 PM
If people know whats good in bitcoin, if they know how to use and secure their bitcoin they will be comfortable in using it, because all people want a safe investment and safe wallet for their money. And more if bitcoin price is high i know they will be more comfortable in using bitcoin.
I agree with you. If the people know the advantages of using bitcoin they will be comfortable using it. And also if they put their trust on bitcoin and do not be affected by the people who are saying bad things about it like it was a scam or Ponzi scheme and etc. It was more comfortable if the government accept it too and never regulate it.
7  Economy / Economics / Re: Why lot of countries do not allow to use Crpto? on: September 15, 2018, 02:42:18 PM
All country has different principles, rules and regulations so maybe not allowing to use crypto has a deep reason behind it. Some country do not allow it because they think that it was used to buy and sell illegal things or for illegal trading. And also some countries think that it can affect their economy in a bad way. And also it was because they can’t control it the way they want to or the way that they can get big benefits for themselves.
8  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto replacing fiat? on: September 15, 2018, 02:24:11 PM
Even though many people are using crypto it will not be enough to replace fiat.
Replacing fiat is impossible for now but if it happens, I think it will be advantageous in some reason like everyone can transfer money in a faster way, can experience a secure and easier payment transactions.
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Please, we should not totally eliminate fiat currency on: September 15, 2018, 01:49:29 PM
It will never happen though crypto currencies is used by many people. We can’t eliminate fiat because many people prefer fiat especially those who are in rural areas. The people who are civilized are still using cash even though they have all the means to use digital money like credit cards, transferring money, and buy and sell goods by the use of internet.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: When will people feel comfortable using BTC ? on: September 08, 2018, 01:44:01 PM
When will people spend BTC as easily as fiat , not seeing it as an investment opportunity but a better currency for them to use ? Most of my friends that I have currently told about Bitcoin are most intrigued by its rapid rate of growth and not its outstanding features as a currency. They don't really care that it is free from government control , but are more focused on the fact that it has risen xy%

I don't really spend much of my Bitcoin , because I am always in fear.
I am not talking about cashing out , but for digital goods.

How do you spend 10 mBTC on a 5$ digital good when you believe that the same 10mBTC is worth atleast 15$ , probably more.
How much of your Bitcoin have you hoarded , and how much have you really spent ?
I am under the impression that people tend to hoard more with BTC than with fiat , considering it an investment more than a currency

I don't know how to make a poll here , so :- http://strawpoll.me/1793917
This is not referring to your blockchain.info statistic , which includes money you have moved around. I am looking at money you have truly spent vs total amount of BTC you have received.

Overall , I'm trying to look at how much my guess is true by the poll and your estimates of when majority of people will start looking at BTC as a currency.

EDIT : I'm not sure this is the right section , tell me if this should go in General Discussion or so.
I think if many establishments or businesses are accepting bitcoin as payment. But I think it will take time before the people be comfortable on using btc because of many reasons.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Digital Money = Cashless Society on: September 08, 2018, 06:00:23 AM
It is said now China is a cashless society. Use of debit and credit cards in shops/stores, online pay bills, shopping online.

Money earned from the internet is known as digital/electronic money. People who earn money from the internet, they get paid money in electronic form by payment processors such as skrill, perfectmoney, alipay, paypal, bank-wire transfers because online workers are worldwide.

Last month, I got $20 from online surveys. The money was sent to my bank account via online payment processor. Now if I buy 2 shirts using debit cards at offline or online stores, there is no cash involved but I have 2 shirts.

Just like Bitcoin which does not have a physical presence, money/cash will not have physical presence in "cashless society/countries" where money becomes digital/numbers.

Bitcoin is a part of digital money. How is digital money is your country ??

Bitcoin is really a digital money but in my country it was not widely used because there are many people who don’t know it. A total cashless society here is impossible since many people still prefer to use cash. And also that digital money is hard to use without an internet so it is better to have cash so that we has an alternative if the internet are down. And also there are part on our country that are not modernized so it means that they can have no idea what a digital money is.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy going up and up everyday on: August 22, 2018, 07:17:49 AM

I think with the rise of Crypto, it's the safe heaven for us, the normal people. I think communities, countries, specific groups of people will make their own currency (and also money) out of thin air, and this is how our societies will function soon. But that doesn't necessarily mean that cash will go away, I think people are attached to cash a lot and it's a different feeling when you have cash.

What do you guys think? All thots are appreciated!

Even there is a new coin that will be made it will not make the cash go away. Many people are using cash even those who has bitcoin sometimes used cash to pay they foods and drinks etc. Cash will always needed and the society will not function without it.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin grows everyday through Shared knowledge on: August 22, 2018, 07:06:28 AM
Most people have misconceptions and it was natural for the beginners. So it was important and anyone can appreciate if the early adopters share their knowledge to open the minds of people think badly about bitcoin.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Increasing number of celebrities endorsing cryptocurrency on: August 22, 2018, 12:13:24 AM
Increasing celebrities who are endorsing the cryptocurrency was very helpful to introduce crypto to those who don’t know it. And the people who knows it will be motivated because they know there are popular people that are into it also.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this basically just another way to make money? on: August 21, 2018, 08:31:11 AM
Basically yes. Many people that already have job make it as another source of income.  It was very useful and many people are earning from it like the students, and also other people that are unemployed. This is another way to make money. You can earn money in here just like in joining campaigns that don’t need too much effort unlike in the actual job that can drain you strength.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: Why spend time in bitcoins? on: August 21, 2018, 07:39:26 AM
We all experience being financially challenged and we cannot deny that money makes us revolve around it. When we find ways to alleviate our financial suffering, we stand our ground and spend so much effort just to see the result and of course, benefit from it. Do you think that spending time and effort to gain bitcoins is a rational idea? Do you think that you could've been wasting your time? Let me know about your thoughts.
Spending time and effort for bitcoin was good because we can earn from it and also in spending time reading and researching about bitcoin is useful because we are learning from it to improve us. It was not a waste of time because you have something to gain from it in the future.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: Becoming wealthy and social responsibility on: August 21, 2018, 07:07:52 AM
Some of the early adopters are wealthy now. It is better if they share it into a charity or invest it into a business that has a positive impact to the society. But it’s not only the early adopters or anyone can help trough money but also by sharing their experiences or give tips and advices to the new comers.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NO! Do Not Invest all you have on Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies on: August 21, 2018, 05:56:24 AM
That was a very nice advice. People who will invest should always consider that factor because some risk is not worth it and have the probability to lose. Investing all their money to bitcoin is unadvisable, just invest only on how much you can afford to lose so that when it didn’t go on what you want, you won’t be so depress.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does bitcoin affects your emotional and mental aspect of your life? on: August 21, 2018, 05:44:47 AM
I think there’s no people who can say that bitcoin can’t affect emotional and mental aspect of their life. To earn money they need to invest in bitcoin that's why they always need to take risk. That risk may result to gain more profit or loss but there’s lesson learned. So because of that, it can strengthen the emotional and mental aspect of their life, they can become braver and smarter to their investments.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future payment methods of bitcoin and crypto on: August 18, 2018, 01:47:21 AM
It was a good thing though it will take a lot of time to happen but I hope it will happen in the future because I’m sure the government will meddle on that so we need to wait until they accept bitcoin and not go against it.
