Hey, I personally prefer to communicate on Twitter and Telegram and I encourage other Kekcoin community members to do the same. Bitcointalk is an awesome tool and landing page for a lot of people so we definitely want to keep a level of activity here but if you want regular updates etc. those are on Twitter and Telegram Smiley

Try adding nodes from here:

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/rads/#!network

 How can I add the nodes ?

I try add a file 'radium.conf'  but it doesn't work ..

Add the nodes with the "addnode=" in your radium.conf and restart your wallet. If that does not work try adding the following:

connect=54.250.244.93
connect=52.54.136.169
connect=32.229.201.149
connect=54.93.52.131

Kekcoin is a great project and this deserves a quality Exchange though it takes longer!
I think that we need to add an exchange. It's not good to be only on Cryptopia

What exchanges would you suggest?

To answer some of the other questions:

RADS were used in the airdrop process in order to secure the identities of the airdropees. I as a core developer for Radium helped with this and am currently helping as a technical consultant for the team.

There was no ICO, only an airdrop, if you want more coins now you will either have to participate in the regular meme bounty competitions or buy on the open market.

The memechain is indeed being actively developed. As was said in the last blog post the UI has had a lot of work done on it and the UI dev has been working hard making it an awesome platform. On the state machine side there has been a lot of progress but is as of yet unfinished. Its not an easy task to build an immutable chain of memes (a hashchain of memes embedded in the kekcoin blockchain) from scratch and so it will take some time. The roadmap schedule suggests the team will be finished in late January so I would wait until then before making any judgement.

If there are any developers that want to work on other aspects of the project (core protocol for example) then please contact either me or SatoshisCat and we can get you working in no time! (If you propose milestones and complete them we are happy to reward you with KEK bounties).

For the rest of the community I think its important you spread the word, talk about Kekcoin on reddit, 4chan, telegram, bitcointalk etc. and make people aware of the project. The developers can't do everything and a thriving community can help a lot with marketing aspects of a cryptocurrency project. I want to thank everybody that has been active on this thread, I am usually very active on telegram but I sometimes ignore bitcointalk, so thanks for your assistance and keep it up! Smiley
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [RADS] Radium - Bringing Advanced Utility to the Blockchain on: October 30, 2017, 08:25:38 PM
You should be getting on average 1 staking reward per 1000 RADS you are staking per day. I stress the word average. Give time for your UTXOs to split appropriately and you should slowly start to see a convergence towards that rate.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][KEK] Kekcoin | PoS | MemeTech | Tipbot on: October 14, 2017, 03:48:58 PM
I have the private key.
Is there an online wallet?
I need because I can't sync the whole chain

There is currently no online wallet but why exactly are you unable to sync the chain?

Just as a general FYI the Kekcoin PoS rate of return atm is 30% per year (will drop to ~15% in a month or so). You can use the Oracle of Kek telegram chat bot (https://t.me/kekcoinbot) to get real time data using the /blockchain command.

Seems that for the past 2 weeks, every coin I stack is "generated but not accepted". I have about 20 of these. Only 1 accepted over the past 2 weeks. Anyone know what's going on?

Yeah its relatively normal to get orphaned stakes, you should maybe try restarting your wallet every so often. You should be getting roughly 1 stake per 1000 RADS so look at your RADS amount and calculate your expected average time to generate a stake.

Well, over the past month I've received .5 rads, but I have 24 that say "generated but not accepted".

Staking 600 rads at the moment.

I used to see some of these orphaned stakes, but since 9/1/17 it's just been nuts. Have restarted wallet several times, but doesn't seem to help.

Running the 1.4.6 Linux wallet, is this the most current? Anything else I can do?

Yep, I'm starting to lose patience with this coin. After a week of wallet open to staking, I've seen nothing. One of the main reasons to buy as much as i did was for the rewards to offset the risk if i was wrong.

Can someone confirm with me how the tick in the bottom left corner of the wallet should look. Should it be highlighted in white like the lightening symbol is when you initiate staking? This is the only thing i can think why.

Its not confidence inspiring seeing that the devs don't reply to peoples questions above. Ideas why? Do they actively use something else for comms?

If you want direct 24/7 contact with the community and developers I suggest you join the telegram group (https://t.me/RadiumOfficial). I personally only check BCT about once a week but will answer a pinged query on telegram within a few hours at best (unless I am sleeping xD).

Yes the bottom left corner should be highlighted white and say staking. As some of the other community members have suggested, if you do not have a high node count its advisable to manually add nodes from the node list posted a couple of posts before or directly from our live node list on our explorer https://chainz.cryptoid.info/rads/#!network.

Sorry for the delay but yeah, contact us on Telegram if you want a quick response (I've repeated this, I'd conservatively estimate, about 1000 times already).

Some of the concerns regarding funding will be addressed soon and we will also discuss the future direction we're going to take with the protocol. We've had some very exciting developments in the last week in terms of the direction we want to take which we will share with the community when we are ready and have worked out all the details.

I think its important now to give us some time to sort out our ideas and make a concrete proposal / plan. Once we're ready we will be publishing a blog post update as usual and will also hopefully have some professional marketing materials to give with it.

The team is comprised of three guys. One is a registered nurse at Penn State, another is transferring to finish his CS degree, another will finish college in 2022. Is this for real?

Hi, I don't know where you get you're information from but we're open about the fact that we are doing other things alongside working on Radium. Just a few comments though,

Yes one is a registered nurse in Penn state, he's also a talented .net and C# programmer with years of experience in the cryptocurrency space. Tim is doing a degree in CS and has been running a company since a young age, I don't really see a problem with that as it shows entrepreneurship from an early stage. I myself already have a masters degree in Theoretical Physics and am currently working on obtaining my PhD so its mischaracterization to say I will finish college in 2022, I already finished college a few years ago lol. I also have over 4 years of experience in the cryptocurrency space.

With respect to the team, we are the 3 main developers, however we have multiple parties who have been with us since the start of the project and act as promoters, testers, advisors, etc. We are also currently looking at our options in terms of contracting a marketing company. I really don't see the relevance to your post as this is already clear if you have done you're research about RADS.

Hey guys, we will have a developer update posted next week which will include updated Radium SmartChain software. The Radium SmartChain v3.1 will include blockchain voting functionality and once implemented in our systems will be used for Radium and SmartChain governance related issues. However not only will this functionality be available to us but everybody will be able to propose their own "elections". We will have many more details in our blog post next week and will have a how-to tutorial showing how to use the new functionality.

Hey guys, not officially a dev, but as a consultant for the team I just wanted to address some of the points recently raised.

I'm personally a veteran crypto community member and officially the Community Manager and a Core Developer at Radium (a $20m market cap cryptocurrency). I do not abandon projects or stain my reputation by disappearing or dumping coins. So any insinuation of that is deeply offending to me.

If you want quick access to the Kekcoin community I suggest you join our Telegram chat channel. I personally don't check BCT that regularly and much prefer to communicate directly on Telegram. Link: https://t.me/KekcoinOfficial

I believe SatoshisCat will have a Developer Update blog post being posted soon which will detail what is planned for the near future. The Kekcoin team has already launched their first meme bounty and I suggest you all participate for a chance to win 5,000 KEKs (around $200-250). You can find a link with more details here, https://medium.com/@KekCore/meme-bounty-competition-23397fe90d3.

I always advocate security and I think its good people are using VMs to run the wallet, but the virus scans are showing false positives. I do not think the Kekcoin team have the knowledge or incentive to put a virus in the wallet and you can rest assured that my personal audit of the code did not reveal any _hidden_ code. You can also build it straight from the source if you think the Kekcoin team has messed with the binaries and compare the sha256 checksum if you want to be extra safe.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][KEK] Kekcoin | PoS | MemeTech | Tipbot on: July 24, 2017, 12:41:28 PM
I am glad to see people helping each other on this thread. We don't have time to get to everyone's specific concerns or questions so I am happy to see more experienced crypto users helping those which are less experienced.

Yes you need to keep your wallet open to stake continuously (this is what is securing the network).

If you weren't on any of the two lists then you really messed up the registration and will NOT be receiving an airdrop.

We have applied to cryptopia for an exchange listing and we are waiting on them to process it from their side.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][KEK] Kekcoin | PoS | MemeTech | Tipbot on: July 23, 2017, 09:48:46 PM
The wallet is safe to use. We have over 50 peers on the network already.

Regarding people who have missing addresses we will attend to you in the coming days.

Hey I am missing the 10K bonus airdrop for being one of the first 10 to make a Keke meme. When will I receive that?

The meme bounties will be released either later today or tomorrow.
