And that is the great influence that Bitcointalk has in the crypto world. Glad to be a part of this forum.

Don't necessarily agree with you. Many mentioned that Bitcoin made no sense or had no future, and look where it is now. Not to compare though. I do think, however, that ETC needs to differentiate itself in order to be more successful. I am not invested in ETC because I am not convinced, yet. And there are many other good alts to consider.

Hi, I would like to participate as community supporter (spanish).

I did invest in DIMCOIN since I love the project. And I still have my DIMTOKENS and DIMCOINS. However I won't get into DIMPAY. The timing for a new ICO is off, since the original DIMCOIN offering has not delivered on promises and original timeline (such as HYBSE relaunch). Why on earth they need additional funds at this stage. Very suspicious.

Depending on the horizon of your investment and how diversified your portfolio is. Or if you are going to do averaging cost. But yes, I would still buy if it made sense for my strategy. Currently it doesn't.

Better use MetaMask for accessing EtherDelta, better to be safe than sorry. However being a DEX it seems that you are not really providing your private keys to them (they do not read the keys), you just use them to sign the transactions. Still, better to use MetaMask for this in my opinion.

In investments you have to diversify. Your question is like asking if it is better to hold cash or small cap shares. You have to build a portfolio and yes, I would include several asset classes including equity shares and altcoins.

One more reason to HODL for a long time, rather than attempting to trade against the people who are able to control the price of Bitcoin (and other currencies as well).

You should never buy only one instrument. One of the key principles in investing is to diversify. So even if you have a little amount of money, you should buy BTC, ETH and other mainstream altcoins such as NEO, XEM, LTC. Probably ETC as well if you like it.

You should ask yourself about the use cases of Dogecoin. Actually I am surprised it grew that fast and had the adoption it did. Will that be the case going forward? At the very least you should diversify your portfolio. Dogecoin can be part of it, but it is not mainstream in my opinion.

It is very risky. Things can go sideways and you could lose all your money. Because that means that you have to deposit cash somewhere to get your BTC back. What if the seller runs?

Yes, the cryptocurrency market is very volatile and you should see strong rises, such as this one you are referring to, but also big drops in a matter of minutes. It is just the essence of the market. So it is very possible.

If you are thinking about this, probably you'd like Combicoin, which is an instrument that holds the top 30 cryptocurrencies (equally weighted) and has grown over 70% in the last 1.5 months. You can see more here: https://triaconta.com

I tend to avoid the big ones such as Bittrex or Poloniex due to the very poor customer support. I have found Binance and Kucoin to be great alternatives for my trading needs.

Well, other cryptocurrencies have been rising steadily this last days. Bitcoin has not been the only one. It seems to be generalized in the market at the moment. I wouldn't attribute it to any of the upcoming shit-forks happening.

I don't really think airdrops are a smart move. Many of them are just shitcoins anyway, I receive some of them without any explanation in my ethereum account and most are worthless.

I do think so. Currently blockchain technology is already part of the curriculum in certain universities and diplomas, so I wouldn't be surprised if this trend keeps going on.

The most secure way to handle your bitcoins and altcoins is definitely a hardware wallet (I prefer Ledger Nano S but there are a lot of options). They support multicurrency and all ERC-20 tokens.
