I think I like design 2.  I like the current doge in the wallet... I think he's cute.

So if all the nodes will depend on these two nodes and will use at the same time option listen = 0, then noone will be able to verify whether the owner of these two nodes are not manipulating the chain, because the option listen = 0 makes that the chain can not be verified with other nodes.

I'm sure that this is not the permanent solution.  It's better than what we've had the previous couple of days though.

This temporary fix has been working for me.  I've staked a few times and haven't forked... it's progress.

have new wallet and add the new nodes...
hope this will work...
tq guys for your work in this coin...

sync 4563...
cheers...

i don't know if it really matters but please use also listen=0 in conf and connect to those 2 ip only.

that reduce chance of forking i think.

I am noob, I dont know how to add nodes or how to use "listen=0" lol... I know that my wallet is not working....what must I do?

Were you able to figure it out?  If not, hopefully I can be of help.

If you are using windows, there should be a folder in your computer called Litedoge under C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Roaming\ (be sure that you are showing hidden files and folders or you won't be able to see AppData).  Go there.

You'll want to delete all of the files except wallet.dat.  Never Delete wallet.dat!!!!.  To be extra cautious, I even create a copy of wallet.dat and put it in a different place when I'm fiddling with these things.

Create a text file.  Put the following things in it:

daemon=1
listen=0
addnode=93.157.4.11
addnode=91.121.6.19

No need to put anything else in it at the moment.  That's currently what my file looks like (although I currently have been too lazy to add the second node at the moment).

Save the file in the Litedoge folder (above) and name it litedoge.conf .

Now you can start the wallet, resync, and it should work.  :-)

Thank you for your continued work... I seem to be on the correct block for the first time since shortly after 40000.

The stake weight seems low... but I'm guessing that has something to do with the fragmenting the chain has been doing.  I had turned my wallet off because it seemed to be a waste to keep it open.

I never had a problem until block 40000

Guys how its going now? Anyone who have issues can redeem it?

On the surface, my wallet seems to be going okay...

However, it feels like I'm on a fork.  The network weight is WAY down and I'm mining a lot more blocks than normal.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LDOGE] LiteDoge - very currency many coin - lite version of dogecoin on: April 14, 2015, 03:44:14 AM
I seem to have a broken wallet as well.  I stopped at block 40080.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NobleCoin[NOBL] - Proof Of Stake | MARKETPLACE on: April 06, 2015, 03:07:32 AM
For some reason I can't get the new wallet to sync.  I added several nodes to the .conf file, but it's still not connected to the network.

Please try the following:
1. backup wallet.dat (in fact you should always backup it before doing any changes etc)
2. remove data directory "C:\Users\username\Appdata\Roaming\NoblecoinPOS"
3. start client

You may need to wait few minutes as client will look for other peers via IRC. But it should connect and download whole blockchain.

Thank you, I did get it to work.  I left it open for a couple of hours and it came back fine.  :-)

Now I have a new question... the number of coins in my wallet is staying the same, but my network weight keeps going down.  Is there a reason for that?

12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Miami arresting people for use of Bitcoin on: February 11, 2014, 02:06:49 AM
The report is a lot more clear than the newspaper article.  It seems fairly clear that the seller really didn't have problems engaging in illegal activity.  The fact that he said that he would think about selling the stolen credit cards for BTC makes his case even worse.

That's not to say that the police weren't participating in entrapment, but perhaps there was other evidence not listed in this report that made them think that they were already involved in illegal activity.

It is clear that way more people know about Bitcoin now than a year ago, and you can't really get away with the sorts of things that you might have been able to get away with in the past.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: STAR COIN [STR] - The coin with bonus STAR blocks on: January 30, 2014, 09:56:43 PM
Under C:/Users/Lorren/AppData/Roaming/Starcoin there are two files called blk001.dat and blkindex.dat.  I renamed those files so they had a .bak extension (just in case), closed starcoin-qt, and then I replaced the two files with the dropbox files.  When I restarted starcoin-qt it was synced.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: STAR COIN [STR] - The coin with bonus STAR blocks on: January 30, 2014, 09:44:19 PM
I don't know how pool syncing works, but the dropbox file had me up in about two minutes.  Half of that was the time it took for starcoin-qt to restart.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: STAR COIN [STR] - The coin with bonus STAR blocks on: January 30, 2014, 09:36:13 PM

That's how I got up and running.  Mining solo for now.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: STAR COIN [STR] - The coin with bonus STAR blocks on: January 30, 2014, 08:55:29 PM
I'm getting 0 connections to the Starcoin network.  I had one connection for a second, but that didn't last long...

I take that back... I have one again.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GRA] Graincoin - New PoW/PoS coin | Fast, secure | Version 1.4 Released! on: January 30, 2014, 06:03:10 AM
Ack!  I thought I had lost about half of my GRA when I upgraded to the new client.  The transactions showed up in the wallet, but they weren't showing up under balance or stake Cry.

Fortunately, changing the wallet to wallet.dat.bak, starting a new wallet, and importprivkey with all of my private keys was able to solve the problem.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NOBL]*NOBLECOIN* - *COINPAYMENTS.NET SUPPORTED* - *ON 2 EXCHANGES* on: January 29, 2014, 06:29:56 AM

I made a second design using the suggestions to have the word "coin" in grey, and to include Charity and Ecommerce in the design so people would know what the coin was about.  This design is on a mug, but it's available on a bumper sticker (and many other products) as well.  The bumper sticker is a little bit different because it needs to fit into a longer rectangle, rather than more of a squarish one.

The new bumper stickers and the products that I made so far are available at the Noblecoin section of my Bitcoin POD store.

If you have any requests, feel free to send me a PM.  There are a lot of newer items that I haven't made yet, but if you would like it designed (like on a wallet), I can make it.  I actually need a new wallet, and I haven't bought one yet, because I have a cute idea for a wallet and I haven't gotten around to designing it yet...

I have to thank you all for inspiring me.  I had gotten out of the designing habit when I had to go get a part-time job last summer to help out the family, and hadn't really gotten back into it.  Creating these designs has inspired me to make more (both crypto and non-crypto related).

First bumper sticker design out:

I currently have four designs completed (although the other three might take a while to show up on the site).  This is one, another one is white, customizable with your Noblecoin address; I have also done the same two designs with a black background.

Sorry that it took a while to come out; I've had a couple of busy days.  I can work on some t-shirts and related products tomorrow.

Don't Be sorry Lorren, we all  have lives out side the internet Smiley  What I would really like to see in 1 sticker set (you may have one already just not posted)  is as I posted in my original thread, looking "something" like this

         I <3 Noble coin
      Charity - E-comerce
www.noblecoinmovement.com

My reasoning for this is it give a quick understanding of what noble coin is and a place to find out more info, I wonder if without this detail how much impact it will have on people unfamiliar with the crypto market

Other then that I love what you have done so far darlin, keep up the AWESOME work Smiley

Thanks for the suggestions (I also like the other suggestion of having the word coin in grey).  I'm working on getting a rearranged version of the original design up on other products (including stickers).  I have tomorrow off work as well; since there seems to be some interest, I'll see about getting another design done then.  Probably with grey "coin", all capital letters, with "Charity-Ecommerce" on a second line.
