Wow. Iota generates so much fear in hodlers of other crypto 'assets'. They have begun to realize most of them are toast when this project gains traction, and we're nearly at that tipping point now. I would say you've got 6 to 12 months max until the show begins.  Never seen such fear and hatred. [Note to self: I must keep stacking Iota on every dip.]

Impressive price action by Iota over the past few days in this ultra-bearish environment.  Slowly moving up the market cap table. Of course crazy bubbles are probably a thing of the past and projects will now only move on merit or lack of it – and there’s a pile of pointless garbage with larger caps than Iota making this project look insanely cheap.

I believe the crypto market has significantly changed since the end of 2017. With the exception of bitcoin which in in a world of its own. The rest of the Altcoins are now in a meritocracy. They will have to show genuine significant real world utility and adoption for the price to rise. The only altcoin that is fast approaching this threshold is Iota.

 

What a beautiful, perfect, falling wedge in the Iota chart. I've sold out of my other tokens and now 100% iota. This baby is getting ready to fly.

It's hard to overstate the potential corporate interest in this project. It could be multiple orders of magnitude greater that the likes of Ripple. In fact it's pointless making comparisons with other cryptos. Iota is out there on its own, something unique that in a few years will be touching all our lives. 

Absolutely. Iota is just stirring, making its first moves. Iota Is not even on the radar for 99.9% of the people who are destined to become its greatest fans. Satoshi Nakamoto’s 2009 elegant but flawed bitcoin project showed us the way but it was never going to be the final word on the subject. All the things that bitcoin was hope to be will not come to fruition. However, bitcoin will become digital gold for millennials just like physical gold is for the baby boomers. So its future as a high value wealth preserving asset is assured. However, for a working crypto currency for finance and industry we have to look elsewhere. Up until the advent of Iota we only really had bitcoin clones, with the usual problems of the blockchain.

Now with the advent of Iota the path is clear for fee less micro-transactions, machine to machine transactions, an ultrafast, scalable, miner- less, true peer-to-peer crypto currency.

Comparing Iota’s tangle to blockchain technology is like comparing a Ferrari to the horse and cart.

So as for price? Iota must equal at least a volume adjusted current Ethereum price in my opinion. So that would be $17. Of course when Iota reaches $17 Ethereum could be much higher, but in the end, once realization of the potential of Iota sets in who knows what that upper price is going to be.

I've wondered about this.  No marketing to Joe public.. None at all. Yet.  I assume the team has us in a holding pattern in a defacto 2nd beta low profile release phase. Marketing to come down the line? It's the only explanation. You don't spend years developing an interactive public product then keep it secret!

The number of AMPs in the available supply is not enough to run the eventual project. As  the synereo project expands in scope more amps will be released in a controlled fashion. Personally  I don't think there's enough!
I have 150k of the existing supply. Lets say existing supply is about 100 million with the recent releases. So personally I have 0.0015% of existing supply. Therefore 666 people could hold what I am holding and all supply would be gone. I do not consider these numbers to be large. Let us look at a few years down the road and the project is fully rolled out and all amps are in circulation, about 950 million. So for the entire amount to be held by investors like me it would take only 6300 people. Of course that number of people could not even attempt to corner the market as the price would be off to infinity.

So that's the bottom line. 6300 investors with 30k fiat to invest today could buy the entire supply. Of course that's just a thought experiment, there will be people with one amp and people with 1 million amps. Nevertheless the question you have to ask yourself is this a lot or not?

There could have been a dump of near a million amps yesterday, and that document is dated the 10th. They could be virtually done with it about now actually.

Yes the reason for the price suppression is now known. Ex dev Greg and the Rchain brigade are disposing of their Amp holdings. 40% gone, 60% to go. They now have 6 million to sell, not long though until they are through, especially as they appear to be planning on disposing at a higher rate.

I had been wondering, watching the price action, why, on every natural looking move up, a smackdown occurs shortly thereafter. Now we have the answer.  

I feel much more content holding amps now. Future is bright. Let them do their thing and get to fu*k out if it.
 Although it probably would be nice if the Synereo team would destroy and equivalent amount to that being dumped on the market, as this dumping event was not really in the planning.

Anyway, I hate to say it but...just...HODL.  

Forget about whinging about the price and download the app and get over to youtube and find some youtubers to promote.
I’ve done a few of the alternative news channels today that YouTube is demonetising.  They are all complaining about the new google policy of demonetising anything that does not fit the google interpretation of mainstream.  Hundreds no, thousands of full time youtubers losing their livelihood.

These guys are crying out for wildspark, they just don’t know it yet!

Again these are Alt coin market wide falls, nothing specific to Synereo. We could be in a bear market phase but crypto markets being crypto markets everything happens at 10x the speed and 10x more extreme than other markets. Certainly not for the fainthearted.  You will probably find when you finally feel like giving up and throwing the towel in, that's when the current trend will reverse...and what a reversal it will be.

Well it could, but out from that point, if there is any interest by those that want to promote their content then they have to start buying Amps. For the price of Amps to stay flat there has to be no interest at all in trying Wildspark.

I have some amps in omniwallet. It's fairly straightforward.  I've downloaded omni core but not tried it yet with an actual transaction so cannot comment on it.

Very interesting project this one. It has the potential to be quite disruptive to the old order of internet advertising and 'promotion' of quality content. It is a whole new way of doing things. One very important aspect about all of this is that if it gains traction it could for the first time bring cryptocurrencies to the masses, much more so than Steemit in my opinion. Everyone in crypto land should get behind this one and support it because it is good for the whole industry, especially those that are a long way from introducing their products to the public. Buy a little few amps, install and use Wildspark, tell your friends about it. 

Regarding the Internet, as always the corporate giants have taken control,  Google, Facebook, Twitter, plonking themselves between people and advertisers, spreading their control and censorship. We have an opportunity here with Synereo to start and take back control .

I'm biased obviously due to my belief in Synereo, I've loaded up on amps buying the dips as presented. That correction that just past was a gift from god. All those weak hands shaken out. I can see now sellers are a bit thin on the ground. Upwards potential looks good. It would only take a net couple of hundred bitcoin to get this to 2017 highs. It could happen in any 24 hours.

If ever there was a project worth throwing a few 100$ of fiat at this is it, the time is now. Those with a few 1000$ to invest could, in my opinion make themselves millionaires.   I know the phrase is well worn but this really is a 'once in a lifetime' opportunity.
