81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: December 10, 2017, 09:26:47 PM
What would you do when you're talking to someone but then he suddenly talks about his hatred on Bitcoin, what would you react to it?

I've never actually experienced anything like this before, I just want to be prepared when it happened to me.
Actually you do not have to do anything to those people who do not like Bitcoin because it is their own choice and decision and you do not have to force them into getting engage into something that they do not truly want. Maybe it is just because they just like to cater physical money and they just cannot fully understand the essence of having a virtual money that is why they do not want bitcoin. If you really want to teach them about it, I think it will be better starting from the basic on what are the reasons to choose bitcoin until they can fully understand it.
82  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: November 30, 2017, 01:49:46 PM
I think it is.

Bitcoin use adoption has stalled. Media interest has dissipated. Prices have only slowly continued to decline for a long time now. Bitcoin securities have always been and still are a complete mess, with a near 100% failure (scam/fraud/incompetence/etc) rate. Mining has been concentrated in the hands of a few giant players, eliminating much of the advantage/security/democracy of thousands of individuals being the money processors. Alternative forms of online payment with US dollars (and other fiat currencies) are now cheaper, faster, and more secure than bitcoin (and of course far more usable to buy/sell real goods/services), eliminating any of its advantages as a payment system. Continued decline of bitcoin and strength in fiat currencies has put the lie to the idea of bitcoin as a store of value; there are far better more reliable hedges against inflation. Meanwhile the real economy is firing on all cylinders, stock markets are at all time highs, corporate earnings are higher than ever, unemployment is low, etc. Even amid the boom, no one cares about bitcoin any more. Bitcoin was a fad that lasted a few years, and is now on its way to being forgotten.

Thoughts? Anyone seriously disagree with this conclusion?
I disagree with your argument because for me, bitcoin is not dead as what you and other people are thinking. It is not just that bitcoin is experiencing continuous dumps it merely means that it is dead. There are really some instances that bitcoin is experiencing this kind of scenario just like what other cryptocurrencies like Dollars, Euros and etc are experiencing because it is one of the characteristics that currencies are having.
83  Economy / Speculation / Re: what you think about bitcoin in like 5 years? on: November 30, 2017, 01:36:56 PM
bitcoin is five years time in my opinion there will be a lot of hard forks from the original bitcoin blockchain and the value of bitcoin would increase by 300 percent today's price. if transaction's speed and price remains the same, bitcoin's not improving and maybe the price wont grow that much
For me, bitcoin on the next 5 years will be a sure boom to be a phenomenal cryptocurrency to have the fast phasing in which the price has already reached its highest price from a continuous dump and exceeds the expectation for this year in the mark of $4,000 because currently, the price is now more than $10,000. The bitcoin after 5 years will surely be usef by many people around the globe and it will still undergo a lot of improvements and innovations that will make it a great way to success for its users.
84  Local / Altcoin Announcements (Pilipinas) / Re: LOCAL ANN [STK] STK Global Payments - A New Cryptocurrency for Instant Payments on: October 29, 2017, 12:54:14 PM
85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if another altcoin surpasses BTC in value? on: October 12, 2017, 03:52:33 PM
What will you do if some altcoin (XMR or ETH for example surpasses the value of BTC, either in market cap or by the price of a token each? Will you sell your BTC to buy the more "valuable" coin, or continue using and holding BTC? Also, what do you think are the chances that it could happen? I would like to hear your thoughts and opinions.
It will be just fine for me if ever that thing you have stated really happen that alternate cryptocurrencies or altcoins will surpass bitcoin. Actually it will be just fine if the altcoins will excel their prices so that we can be able to have lots of big holdings from the campaigns or investments we have that includes altcoin usage. I will still hold into my bitcoin whenever that thing happen because I still do believe of bitcoin's capability to make its price rate grow much larger together with the other coins so that we can have a good and comfortable life.
86  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: September 24, 2017, 11:22:34 PM
i had about $200 worth of bitcoin.
How can i earn more with that amount?
should I trading? or make an investment?
and please give me some trusted site to investing my wealth.

**i dont want to give a loan, or else.**

if you had some advice, feel free to tell me.
really apreciate it.
thank you.
For me both are essential and helpful for you. You do not have to evenly choose among those two choices whether you will pick one between trading or investing because both ways can give you benefits that are good for you. Just do an equal partition of your total funds into those two ways and see the results after a couple of time of waiting and you can actually see that those two can do really have a potential on giving you profit from your initial money.
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people are asking you about Bitcoin now? on: September 24, 2017, 10:34:30 PM
I've been talking about Bitcoin to family, friends and random people for years and nobody seemed to mind when BTC was under $1000. But now that Bitcoin has reached $2000, people are starting to realize that owning 1 BTC is beginning to be out of reach for the average person.

I've had more people ask me about Bitcoin lately and wanted help buying Bitcoins. What about you?
Actually, there are already lots of people that have been asking me about bitcoin ever since I get into it. Even though I was not yet gaining my income, they are already starting to ask me what bitcoin really is, how to work into bitcoin cryptocurrency, what benefits can they gain if they will enter such kind of currency and so on and so forth. Until the day has come that I gained my first income, a lot more number of people are now asking me about it because they do want to know how I am gaining an income online. Those people are most commonly my family, friends, classmates, relatives and even my special someone.
88  Economy / Economics / Re: Money above all things, Yes or no ? on: September 24, 2017, 10:04:23 PM
I can see that people nowadays are busy searching on money and everything depends on money. People nowadays never go to church just because they would rather earn money rather than praise God. Others do not pay respect to elders  because they earn money for them or richer than them. Well for you, is money above all things ?
Although money is a thing to must have in the society and even in the whole world and I use to work for bitcoin cryptocurrency to gain and earn a big count of money, I still do not consider money to be above all things. The only reason why I am working to gain money is because we need money to sustain and purchase daily life needs which can only happen if we have money. Despite of all that reasons to have money, I still do not consider money to be above all things because there are things that cannot be paid by money and those things are precious and priceless.
89  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who can destroy Bitcoin ? on: September 24, 2017, 04:38:49 PM
be sure nothing can destory Bitcoin  Grin

I dont think so, but the only one who can destroy bitcoin is bitcoin itself in which if this isnt functioning well, or the amount depreciate in its lowest peak , failed transactions, scam signature campaigns it will definitely be gone, who will gonna be interested in investing here? I think so.Some speculation may come that bitcoin will be gone if there is possible other crypto-currency who will sprout in the next few years and run Above bitcoin and where in users could be more profitable.
90  Economy / Economics / Re: how can bitcoin help the community? on: September 24, 2017, 04:09:11 PM
Bitcoin is not limited to be used as currency but also can be used as investment, as a currency Bitcoin can be used as global currency it will make the transactions easier and then Bitcoin also can provide a new job opportunities and new business opportunities

Thats true, and well infact bitcoin can be an alternative job for those who doesnt have stable job yet and it ?ay help them for financial assistance regarding requirement, supplies and also fees for students who wants to saved money while they are studying I think it will help every people in one community since bitcoin is naturally made for being accessible, it doesnt require so much knowledge for you access it.
91  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: September 24, 2017, 03:07:56 PM
I agree, bitcoin greatly helps in terms of employment.  There are lots of people who do freelancing with bitcoins.  With these those who are not currently employed but skillful people can have a chance to showcase their skills and get paid with bitcoin.  Aside from that it also help in terms of financial support to those who already have their job by acting as side job.

You have a point but I think bitcoin is just a alternative way to aide unemployment in the sense that it may give you an earning that maybe higher that the expwcted amount that you can gain in some job in a certain field resulting for some people to leave their jobs and expend their time living indenpendent in bitcoin whixh is not god in the sense that earning here is not constant and scheduled unlike in centralized jobs that government and local entities has to offer it may be a way for us to get extra income but not be dependent here so I can say that bitcoin producea unemployed people.
92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as salary for a regular job? on: September 24, 2017, 02:38:24 PM
for me will not receive bitcoin salary as a fixed salary,
I will not accept it, because bitcoin the price is not fixed, sometimes up sometimes down. That's the reason I do not want to receive bitcoin salary.

True, and as a worker I will not accept bitcoin as a salary since bitcoin was naturally made for being volatile , when the time that the value depreciatethe loss may name after me, since it is not stable so I ill prefer paper money for payment for every effort I will gain for the field that I may be in lined soon, aside from that it is genuinely unfair for those who will accept is as payment that we will dont know how or when it will occur forks come in and I think association must not ea worker like that.
93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is better than Cash. on: September 24, 2017, 01:54:08 PM
Bitcoin is always better than cash. For our bitcoin earnings,we are not accountable to government and we need not have to pay taxes unless it is legalized in the particular country. With bitcoin,we could easily send huge amounts of money with very low fee at high speed. With bitcoin, our money value increases, but with cash, our money just remains idle.

Yes it is bitcoin is better than cash in the sense that it is volatile it may raise its own value and the profit is yours, but lets accept the fact that it still have limits that we should deal with, most of the contries dont legalized bitcoin yet so we can say that it is not acceptable to be as payment for most of the trading and exportings product worldwide, dollars, euro and other currencies still being used for the payments in which higher position is working on oit and some of the contries review the potentials and capabilities of bitcoin and how can this system imprive the exonomy in each states and its future contributions.
94  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin successfully defeated China on: September 23, 2017, 02:43:08 PM
Bitcoin has pumped back to $4000 and up, without no chinese markets involved, proving that we can survive government bans. I am very confident now in a strong recovery to an ATH. Once we reach ATH in a post-Chinese ban environment, we are going to prove to the world that bans on Bitcoin are useless, so they will either join us or keep getting exposed.

I predict chinese exchanges will eventually be back under regulated licenses, pumping the price even further. Get in now or cry later.
Well after the circumstances that bitcoin cryptocurrency had faced, along with the banning of bitcoin exchange within the country of China, still bitcoin can recover and regain its great dump. It just proves that bitcoin is really a fast growing cryptocurrency and capable of regaining its price ratw whenever it came into a dump situation. This only implies that China is not a great lost for bitcoin to loose its consumer because of the dump. In fact, it only proves that bitcoin users are really too big in count that it raises the demand to make bitcoin price rate pump into the initial price.
95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning enough with Bitcoin without Job ? on: September 23, 2017, 02:04:14 PM
I was just wondering that is it possible to earn steady income without going 8-5 hours regular office job.. I mean you got some bitcoin in your wallet .. are you the enough for living ?

another option is to regularly working on Bitcoin related trading/activites .. that earn you enough amt of monthly income ..

what's your opinion

Note: this is not for poor fellow who just discovered bitcoin or altcoins
Earning an income with bitcoin is really possible because I suppose that was the main purpose why most or rather all of us bitcoin users get engage and involve with bitcoin cryptocurrency. Though it can provide as an income which we work online, for me it is still not sustainable to depend all our needs on our earnings with bitcoin because admit it or not, it really takes time before we can earn our bitcoin. So it will be still more beneficial if we still work with a physical job and bitcoin as a part time job to make more money for sustainable living.
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: September 23, 2017, 07:25:05 AM
I have heard that bitcoin is not supported in some countries. But why ? Is it because bitcoin is risky ? Some countries even declare 6 months jail if her people use bitcoin. Is it fair ? I mined few cryptos and have left mining. It was fun and challenging too. But I never got any clear answer. What does my gpu actually do ? I pay electric bill, my room temperature goes high and I get paid. With actually no skill on pc hardware and software. Whole thing is still pretty unclear to me
Maybe the government do not see that their country will have a bright future of using bitcoin because as much as there will be a source of income for those people who are unemployed which is with the use of bitcoin, the number of unemployed will be raise because they will now be depending everything into bitcoin cryptocurrency that they will no longer work for a physical job that can result for the shortage in physical power that is needed to do the job in different works. Maybe they cannot still afford generating and operating bitcoin their country.
97  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: September 22, 2017, 03:23:06 PM
We all know that there is corruption everywhere, like in government or any other organization. Because of money, corruption can always happen with greedy people who always wants more money to them. Since bitcoin can be considered as money, can it also lead to corruption?
I think the possibility of that thing of bitcoin can lead to corruption can really possible since you have stated that whenever money was involve, corruption do exist because of greediness of gathering more money for much power to have. But we must not blame bitcoin about the sprout of corruption since people are the responsible of doing such thing which is dependent on their doings.
98  Other / Off-topic / Re: Young people should go all in on bitcoin on: September 21, 2017, 08:42:09 AM
Forget about everything else and just put everything on bitcoin. You are living with your parents, they pay everything for you, you got nothing to lose. If I was living with my parents, I would save everything and buy bitcoin monthly. If BTC doesn't keep rising you can still reach the 21 BTC holder group, then save this and retire in 10 years when the price makes you a millionaire.

Go all in on regret later. You are on a privileged position to profit from high risk high reward moves. No risk no win, and BTC is the best long term high risk bet.
Although you have the point that you can have the privilege of gaining a large profit with bitcoin, it is not necessarily means that young individuals should go all in with it. Yes you are right that starting at a young age can provide them a better future specially on getting into bitcoin since it has a potential to make your money grow. Its their decision will still count on deciding if they will go all in or not. What the point you have to do is to introduce it to them to encourage them not to force them.
99  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: September 12, 2017, 07:42:42 AM
I recently paid for some local tacos using Bitcoin. My friend who was unfamilar with Bitcoin thought it was strange, like I technically didn't pay for them or something. We got into discussing Bitcoin and one of the questions he asked me was:
"Why would you want Bitcoins instead of cash?". For a second I didn't know what to say; then I thought about it and here is what I came up with. Feel free to contribute to this.

1) More security (especially if you are careful).

2) Bitcoins are a potential investment, cash is not. Paper currency only really goes down in value, Bitcoins have a lot of potential to be worth more as time goes on.

3) Fast, worldwide transactions at your fingertips.

4) Similar to #3, but it's a universal currency. It's legal in most countries of the world and you don't need any kind of currency conversion to send money to people in a different country than your own.
Indeed. Those what you have stated are really the things people consider to choose bitcoin rather than choosing cash. We all know that investing or putting our money into bitcoin cryptocurrency can enable it to grow because bitcoin has a potential of growing that will give us an instant profit by just saving and holding into it. There are lots of features that bitcoin can provide that is beneficial compared to cash.
100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: August 21, 2017, 02:57:01 PM
How and why would the end of bitcoin (and any other cryptocurrency) occur? Value decrease? Legality issues? Different technology/ideas to supersede it?

I think bitcoin will only "die" if it is overpowered by other cryptocurrency. Therefore cryptocurrency will be still their. If other cryptocurrency upgrade their features, bitcoin will need to upgrade too. If bitcoin doesn't make any move, it will probably affect the rate of users of bitcoin and subsequently die.
