Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you stop calling Bitcoin an investment?
|
on: August 14, 2018, 09:37:45 AM

well i wish i could man but what else can we call it when it is not being used as a currency because several platforms don't accept it. This is the reason why it is called a form of investment at the moment but if all things being equal things will change for bitcoin to be used as a currency.

Oh please is this the first time you are seeing the market go red? Cryptocurrencies are volatile and so such fluctuations are expected from time to time but we all know that definitely the market is going to rise with time so please don't engage in panic selling because you will regret.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins kept in exchange, are they safe?

Not at all, i would never advise you to keep your coins at an exchange site because of the several attempts to hack exchange platforms upon which some of them have turned out to be successful. No matter how the trading of your tokens may be it is better to save the on your wallet and when you are ready sell it off then you can just go to any exchange site and sell it.

The situation of the market has really left most people thinking bitcoin is dead but i believe this is just a phase of volatility and that bitcoin is likely to rise up in no time so please don't lose hope and sell cheap because it would rise up soon.

the only reason why most people are screaming on top of their lungs that altcoins are dead is because they don't have the patience to see the realization of the finished project in which they invested in. It is when the project is fully finished that you can see the real value of the coin in which you invested in.

I think you have answered your question yourself based on your statement. You have noticed the huge reduction in the price of Ethereum and that is a good sign of any serious cryptopreneur. I suggest you go ahead and invest into ethereum and wait for the market to rise in the upcoming months.

Bitcoin has been in the system for about nine years and it still thriving but it is so funny to hear that people would even start saying that bitcoin will die. Just because the market is done does not mean that bitcoin will die so please stop saying that!

This is a wake up call for this whole community because if we really want to see bitcoin and other cryptocurrency being used as an acceptable currency in our community then i guess we need to help the general public understand how things really work in cryptocurrency an dhow they can invest into this community.

Bounty hunters will always sell cheap because most of them don't really read the whitepaper of projects to know how valuable the project is going to be or the potential use case that the project team has. Well i have also participated in couple of bounties where i have received tokens but i have not sold all of them, i am holding it till the team brings up the project.

That's the bitter truth right up there but i think this actually goes to the crypto noobs who joined this community not long ago and are only here for quick gains. Well for your information there could be a wing of quick gains but right now is the time to hold on to your cryptocurrency portfolio till the market bounces back again.

wonderful, at long last we have some banks who are finally accepting cryptocurrencies. This initiation is very good by these banks and i am sure the other banks would also see this and take the bold step of allowing people to start depositing cryptocurrencies into their system

First of all i want to congratulate you upon the decision that you have taken to invest into cryptocurrency but with your start up capital i would advise you invest into altcoins such as Stellar(XLM). It's among on the few altcoins whose price is quite stable but never forget that the market may go down for sometime. Don't be scared about the loss of your funds or investment because the market will surely rise again.

That's the hard truth right there. in as much as cryptocurrencies can generate huge income for you, you are advised never to invest with all your life savings into cryptocurrencies because it still an experiment as most people usually say it. Start with some amount of money that you can lose and still not be worried much.
