There is no BAN in India.

To be clear, the government has expressed concern over investors getting ripped off, also India has a big terrorism problem which can potentially be funded through bitcoin, so the government is right to worry.

Especially if there are cash for bitcoin transactions happening.

The correction in bitcoin however may not be over just yet, things look weak sentiment wise and there may be another dip coming.

RSI has turned to around 30 which is a good indicator that bears are tiring now, but the future is wide open as always!.

best to everyone.

2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Congratulation all we touched the bottom on: February 07, 2018, 06:06:42 AM
Well sentiments still look weak, I have a feeling we are going to see another dip soon.

Look at the current rsi, its running at about 30 but there is no significant upward pressure. The bears are still around.
3  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin lower than $6000? Is it possible? on: February 06, 2018, 06:27:39 AM
Well RSI has currently gone below 30, thats usualy a sign it will stabilise. BUT as someone pointed out, when a bubble pop's (this may be the popping) asset price can fall upto 90% which means we can see 2000's.

Tighten your seatbelts folks. This is a bumpy ride.

The bears are in full control here, the volumes at which we've been breaking supports is crazy. (Also a support is a point in the price graph where prices rose with really high volume. a lot of people like to buy there)

What can help stabilise? some updates from bitcoin CORE Smiley

How about a lightning bolt (network) !

If you have belief, ready those purses; we're going to get another chance at good prices!
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2018 Cryptocurrency Crash (Elliott Wave) on: February 03, 2018, 11:21:37 AM
I tend to look at RSI and volume, especially historic price+volume as an indicator.

RSI sometime back turned below 30, I think its a good signal that the correction is nearing its end...
Would like to know others thoughts...

Though the bears may try again, but the pullback from 7960$ was with really high volumes, I dont think they can break through, but this is life anything can happen!

The next support will be 7800 in that case. But overall I think bears will have a really hard time now at every stage.

God bless us all!

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Understanding corrections and why not to panic. on: February 02, 2018, 09:05:12 AM
Again, OP has not given buy or sell advise.

There is no challenge, I'm wondering why you are after OP?

There are so many people here who've never seen a bear. When you're in the market, the bears are scary and the bulls are exciting...

This is a healthy fight between the bulls and the bears. Go look at the stock market charts and get an understanding of how markets run.

This is not a crypto-utopian condition; this is simply a market, like any other market - equity, commodities, bonds. The days of the crypto-purists are now past us, BTC has a futures trade on it. It is a market asset for wall street. There are more forces at play than your simple crypto-enthusiasts, rogers, counrty bans, forks. The suits are here.

There is a saying; 'Bulls make money, bears make money; pigs get slaughtered'

For any of you scared; but still have balls left; go look at a chart, see where volume has been high, and the market has pulled up from repeatedly, or where a lot of buying happened over time. That is called a support. there is a support at 8,200$ and one at around 7800$, every support takes a battle to break by bears, because bulls tend to jump in to hold the price. Anyone of these could be a bottom.

Or we may be looking at a secular bear market now, it does not seem to be the case; but there is a chance. In case you dont know these terms go read. Research is not just looking at what new token ICO is about to launch. Man Up people. You came here for the riches, but this is war, dont be a PIG.

If you need the money, sell now to get as much as you need, there is uncertainty ahead.

The money that you dont need now but may in the near future Sell and get your capital.

The money that you dont need, and you either 1. believe in crypto or 2. Are in for the long haul. Load up, there is a sale out there, it may get even better or it may end. But this is the time to buy 'quality' at a discount. Not shit at throwaway.

For the non-serious who came to make a quick buck; The money that you wont miss, can laugh off, keep it steady. If you have a bit more, this is the time to slowly 'average it in' please get a fucking book or google to know what that means.

The bears & the bulls here, hat tip.

God luck & God bless all.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto is not a legal tender in India on: February 02, 2018, 08:52:32 AM
My Dear friend.

As of today, bitcoin is not legal tender in any country, let alone it being declared illegal.

Bitcoin has grown on the premise that it belongs to no country. In fact if you have read the original satoshi whitepaper, which I highly reccomend if you have not. You will see how it is in response to the fiscal irresponsibility of countries especially the USA that crypto currency has evolved.

The good news is none can BAN you from using cryptocurrency. They can ban organized exchanges etc. IN that case there will always be market makers; like it happens in private limited companies stock.

I think it is important to have a way to trade value with fellow humans without worrying about what exact currency I am holding and whether it will become worthless because of inflation.

wishing you peace.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Understanding corrections and why not to panic. on: February 02, 2018, 06:41:23 AM

My dear friend,

He has not give buy or sell advise. the OP is simply trying to explain what a market correction is, what a support looks like and what a spike looks like, with some lessons from history. History is a thing you know, its not just rumor; based on facts about events.

Now coming to your strong statement -

Will you compensate the people if they lose everything what they have invested by holding the wothless crypto by your useless suggestion?

will you compensate them if they sell based on your opinion, and the price does indeed rise?

Please dont make personal attacks. Again OP did not give buy or sell advise.

God bless us all.

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NEO speculation on: January 31, 2018, 12:08:42 PM
There are only a few platforms being developed right now. By platforms I mean blockchains which have an application layer sitting on top that can be used for DApps, smart contracts etc

There is ETH, well established, this year will be a good one. Hopefully a bunch if current issues will get sorted out. Many of you know the services, tools and ICO's happening on it.

NEO, earlier 'AntShares' and also the ChineseETH. The promotor of NEO is close to Chiese regulators and govenment. I think NEO is a safe bet in the perspective. There is some tools and ICO's already starting to happen on the NEO chain. In any case holding NEO's in your wallets also gets you some return in the form of GAS.

Waves, another blockchain development platform, not really popular as of yet; though it does have a functioning platform. I think there has been one ICO on it; dont know for sure; someone can pitch-in

Then we have the platforms under development.

Cardano (ADA) also known as Japanese ETH Wink Although they currently are not functional; dont have a testnet; they are really shooting high as a platform. They are developing a very sophisticated blockchain that is supposed to be generation 3. They seem to have a unique development process that is rigourous with third party auditing of the code (Some microsoft alpha team) . The code itself is written in a functional language (Haskell) that makes writing code less bug-prone. Also the promotor was a cofounder at ETH

EOS: also a platform, they just have a testnet out. Though it seems promising I dont have too many details.

My bet is on Cardano and NEO, over to you folks...
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most possible Ethereum competitor? on: January 22, 2018, 07:47:33 AM
Considering the functional nature of ETH as a way to build Dapps, establish smart contracts, and as a platform for other offerings.
These are the platforms that seem to be its closest competitors,

NEO - Origins in China, earlier known as Antshares, NEO is the biggest 'Functional' platform. It already hosted some successful ICO's lately.

Waves - This is another platform, smaller than NEO, but is 'Functional' as well, its hosted some ICOs's as well recently.

EOS - This is a challenger; The promotor is a veteran of Bitshares & steemit , They have good funding and have also put out a testnet sometime in december if I'm not wrong. This will be good to watch.

ADA- Cardano - This is a new challenger Based in Japan. Not a lot of work has been completed, nor do they have a 'Functional' platform as of yet. There has been some news of its blockchain to be used for an educational credential usecase (being developed) by some Universities in Greece. They just have a wallet published (reviews say its a bit buggy atm) BUT they seem to be developing a very robust platform that is privacy AND regulator friendly (goodness knows what that may mean) BUT the promoter seems to have a lot of street cred, he contributed to the ETH project and Bitshares as well if I'm not mistaken.

Looking forward to hearing about other promising platforms.

well along with Influxclin(INFX) that too was above 100% / not anymore just became 27% Smiley haha just the nature of the crazy marketplace right now.

Question is how do you spot something about to burst? lets say you see something up 5% how do you know it will go till 50%(example) ?

Ok I'm asking for a bit of help here to understand the Order book charts.

Here's what I understand, please feel free to point out where I'm wrong or what I'm missing.

- It appears that there are many more buyers than sellers
- There are some buy walls (if I can call them that) at 1980, 1966, 1929 which are points with a lot of buy orders ready to execute. But this does look like if the price starts to fall it will fall with jumps.
- For sellers there are no real walls, its just a steep slope upwards, eaming the price flucturation will not be very high in a upwards trajectory, it will rise smoothly.

Not sure how much help that information is, but it looks like its a indicator of short term movement / strength.

Also there seem to be buy orders worth total 60 BTC vs around 90000 BTC worth of sell orders, Does this seem right?

Am i Reading too much into it?

I would post an image but cant seem to get it to work.

Ignorance is truly bliss aint it? I had the same question, but just spending a little time thinking what it may be gets you to ->

Hold on for dear life  Cool

HODL > HOLD

Hows that for a laugh : Grin
