161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANNOUNCE] paccoin a new SHA256D coin is being introduced on: January 17, 2018, 07:52:10 PM
Well crap. This coin seems to be driving me nuts. The wallet wont sync at all it seems for me and i just transfered all my paccoin from Cryptopia to Yobit and well they seem to all have gotten lost in the transfer. I wrote a ticket to Yobit but no response. So millions of paccoin are either in someone elses balance now or lost in the cloud somewhere  Sad

I've had the same problem yesterday transferring from Cryptopia to Yobit but all my PAC coins made it through by morning. You'll probably see them there & on explorer by tomorrow. I had to wait a few hours to see the transfer I made today.

Blockchain looks like it stabilized. If it remains that way, perhaps the prices and volumes will increase again and there's hope for this coin after all.

My 31 million PAC finally went through. I hereby take back everything I said.  Smiley
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANNOUNCE] paccoin a new SHA256D coin is being introduced on: January 16, 2018, 06:16:11 PM
Not mine apparently and I just tried to transfer over 31 million PAC. Another 21 million stuck on an exchange. Buy order volumes have gone so far down that they'll never reach me. So I suggest everyone to cut their losses and sell PAC for doge, USD, or litecoin if you can. These people are not interested in fixing the blockchain problem. They're just dismissing the problem as no big deal. 55 MILLION PAC GONE IS A BIG DEAL TO ME!  Angry

Plus, #1 wallet on block explorer has been constently dumping, not a single buy and you know what that means.

Also, this coin has been out for 3 years and not a single whitepaper this whole time. Not a single one.

This coin has all the marks of a scam. So face the music everyone and get out while you can!

Also, I've taken the liberty of requesting Cryptopia to delist your sorry asses immedietely.

Can you post the TX number? Or a link to the TX on the explorer? If you can locate it, it may show. As the chains are forking, the TX go negative and then start confirming, it's rather odd.

And the old coin has issues, no doubt, but the new coin is in the works with an entirely new code base. I submitted a patch to the old coin but it looks like it'll be rejected, so I'm assisting the new team with the new coin now.

I've closed my request to Cryptopia (for now) and sent them a new one. Maybe they have to manually process my transaction.

I get that you may not want to post it but what was the sending address?

Tx ID:

79cd3343aee068c5105de06d9929e029a48dcb97c79ea36dc6295a03b30915ee

Deposit Address From Cryptopia:

B4GW9yzjv2X2bWDJ1xH7BnFUDCrHMjFTca

Receiving Address To Yobit Wallet:

B4Fmnku9gqCBzNH82Xfkp4rxYbdtxtySkZ

Timestamp:

16/01/2018 9:29:00 AM Eastern Standard Time

TxID  not showing. Wallet address not showing. I just created the wallet prior to the transaction. The transactions is shown as complete from the sending exchange. They have not arrived at the receiving exchange.

This is the best info I can provide. Both addresses & TxID's don't show up on explorer, and the coins are on the right blockchain going to the right address. I've done everything perfectly. 31,710,000 PACs gone, plus another 23,962,794 stuck on Cryptopia is a lot of money!

If you guys would simply just open a USDT market on Cryptopia when those Doge & LTC markets were shut down. It would've solved all these problems and PAC would've continued rising.

My question is, if the coin is in such high demand, why isn't anyone raising the price and making yourselves some money? You're just cheating yourselves keeping the price at 1 Sat.

Totally agree! The sellers should just cancel their sell orders. That will make the price go higher. They are acting not very smart because the price was double from the current price, exactly one week ago before Cryptopia crashed. But I have plenty of time Wink

That's right. And there are no buy walls because everyone's impatient and panicking and selling at 1 Sat. And people are constantly buying it and I mean continuously. If people cancel their 1 Sat sell orders and raise it to 2, they'll still buy it from you. I guarantee if they cancel the sell orders and raise it to 10 or even 20 Sats, they'll still buy, and you'll see those buy orders start filling in because it's in such high demand. They're still buying tons every second or fraction thereof.

Cryptopia's API reveals hidden sell wall of 65 billion PAC due to all the 1Sat panic sellers. It'll take 10 days for Cryptopia to reach your order at current volumes. You can see the API at the link here:

https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/api/GetMarketOrders/1721/50

My question is, if the coin is in such high demand, why isn't anyone raising the price and making yourselves some money? You're just cheating yourselves keeping the price at 1 Sat.

Why is it going down, guys?

Because they're selling. Why they're selling I don't know, you'll have to ask each individual. However, others are buying and taking advantage of getting cheaper Unify.

Also usually after a large increase like we've had over the past couple of weeks the market dips & corrects itself before another increase.

No worries, development continues like normal despite the price and new developments are occuring:

1) New Android Wallet released hopefully by Saturday, hopefully.

2) We're getting listed on the upcoming new Blockbid Exchange (Blockbid.com.au) which will open in beta in Feb. and to the public in April. Also, we paid the listing fee to Crypto-Bridge (https://crypto-bridge.org) and hopefully  get added there shortly. Also, let's not forget about Nova reopening in the next few months.

3) The new website that'll be finished in approx. a couple of weeks w/ whitepaper. Also team info will added soon thereafter.

3) Development of marketplace & platform will begin very soon, hopefully after the Android wallet is released (still under discussion).

So don't worry about the price too much, this coin is still young and we still have work to do, we still have a lot of potential, & good things going for us. We've gone through worse. We appreciate your support and helping us get this far in this project. Crypto will always have ups and downs. The key is patience. Long-term hodlers of good projects  are usually the most rewarded. Us team members are working hard you guys. We will do our jobs and we won't let you down. Smiley

Questions:

- I have a Windows wallet installed on my local pc and now I just created a VPS and want to transfer my coins to a wallet on the VPS. Will that be like starting from 0? As in do my coins need to mature again for 4 hours? Or do I keep my history of staking?

- And how do I easily transfer the coins from my local wallet to the VPS wallet? Just use Send on the local wallet and Receive on the VPS wallet?

- Just started staking yesterday and I notice that after 9 hours or so nothing has been staked yet and the expected days to earn keep jumping from 11 days to 123 days to 45 days. What's up with that? I have 1500 coins and I wonder when I will start to see rewards?? Anyone that started staking a couple of days ago that can share some info?

Any help is welcome.

Thanks guys!

If you were to transfer your coins from one wallet to another, staking time resets to zero.

As for reward frequency, the expected rewards shown on the desktop wallet is not a reliable indicator. But ROI has been calculated at 5% to 10% of your wallet balance per year.

Let's say you stake 500 coins. 5-10% of that is 25-50 coins per year. If you average it out you should expect to receive a little over 2-4 Unify per month.

Let's say you stake 10k. 5-10% of that is 500-1k Unify per year, which means you could receive approx. 40-80 Unify per month.

So the higher your balance, the more often you'll receive rewards.

Hi,

On your web wallet, my google authenticator says your QR code is not valid. Any ideas why?

I personally have no idea. Others say it works fine. I tried authenticator at an exchange and it did the same code error for me but works fine for others.

I would go to google and troubleshoot.

While downloading windows wallet my antivirus warns me that the applications wants to run trojan coinminer.bj - is it safe to continue?
Why do I get this error?

Thank you!

It's a false positive. The program is safe. We're waiting for the antivirus companies to whitelist it.

False positives are common among POS wallets.

Thank you. Could you please explain what is coinminer.bj?

Could you also please try to answer my other questions several posts above this one. Thank you!

I'm not the programmer but my best guess is that it may be the (or one of the) built in mining programs that enables the wallet to stake.

As for your other questions, you should try to get in touch with SBDomains. He's the founder and is the best person to answer your questions.

You could try to reach him here, but our Telegram channel is the best place to reach him if you want a quicker response. Here's the link:

Generated coins must mature 20 blocks before they can be spent. When you generated this block, it was broadcast to the network to be added to the block chain. If it fails to get into the chain, its state will change to "not accepted" and it won't be spendable. This may occasionally happen if another node generates a block within a few seconds of yours.

You'll have to import your private keys from your current wallet to a new wallet. Here are the instructions under "recover coins". Please let the new wallet sync first before importing your keys:

Thank you very much . You saved me, I thought I had lost all my Unify. You've been really kind. Now I can start doing stakes and ... HOLD HOLD HOLD.

And you can sleep better too!  Wink

And make sure you encrypt it with a good password to keep your coins safe. And of course, write it down in case you forget.

Not that I'm complaining about a price rise after holding all this time but is there a reason for such a sudden increase other than the post from the investor?

Have I missed something important?

You haven't necessarily missed anything important, but we've been working hard for you all and our growth seems to reflect that. More potential investors out there are also noticing us. We have released new desktop wallets as well as the new webwallet. Hopefully price will continue to increase as we release the android wallet, new webpage, and begin development on the platforms in the upcoming weeks.

But we'll just have to see.  Smiley
