Webcam is something close to my heart, haha, why not? Good idea to make girls earn more money so that they could be more active after they receive their tips  But really, I read the whitepaper and hope that you will make this more anonymous. I don't like the idea that webcam staff can read my private chats with models. Why would they need that? I think you misunderstood what's written in the whitepaper; it is said that now, with webcam platforms already existing, staff members can read private chats with models, but with their solution every private chat will be encrypted so they cannot be read even from staff members! Their point is to make the customer-model relation more private.  Hey! Yea, I knew this. I meant why current webcam sites need to read my private messages? Sorry then I am the one who misunderstood what you said!  I think it is because they want control over their performers and over their customers, they wanna have control over them because they make money out of them (50% or more than the customer pays) and to put pressure on the performers but I think Live Stars tries to free that. Of course, there is customers who will harass performers, but I'm sure with Live Stars solution performers will have the ability to moderate themselves their chat. Ok, now it is clear. Thanks bro! |

Ho So now I am a share holder what are the plans going forward to incress hash rate? Saves me from reading all the posts Hey! Welcome to the group then! Addiction does not have a reinvestment policy. We simply payout everything in dividends. That being said we are constantly looking for new opportunities to start new GB's which might then be included in Addiction. This means shareholders are free to reinvest if they want (and in what they want). That being said, KnC announced today their 2nd generation equipment (Neptune: www.kncminer.com). We are debating if we are going to start another groupbuy for those. We'll keep you updated on that. I don't like that direct share BS, so I'd like to sell soon.
there is something wrong with weex, my fund and tons of others are stuck there, for more than a week now. my advice ? transfer to direct share first then only deal outside bf. if u trade there and your fund stuck forever thats it. who knows whats going happen next. |

What ?? NO. I think you are seriously misunderstanding the situation.
Share price had absolutely nothing to do with this deal's ROI (even though its volatility may have helped some to hedge out as stated above) and the same goes for Bitfunder's closure. In fact, some people (like me) didn't even bother going to BF, so the share price doesn't even enter my calculations.
It's pretty simple actually, difficulty rose (a lot) more than people expected, and the miners started mining 1.5-2 months later than expected. There was no ROI to be had.
On papers, KNC seemed a lot safer than BFL. In reality though, all miner companies have proven to be the same border-line scam. They all delivered (and continue to do so) equipment that is absolutely incapable of achieving ROI.
This boggles my mind.
Who is being profitable in the mining business (and how)?
Has it become something where only AM, KNC, BFL, etc., themselves make money?
I tell you.. it's blatantly obvious we're all being used. This 2nd gen wave was simply scandalous all across the board. Not a single product capable of mining itself out. In any other business they would've all gone bankrupt. Here, they are the only ones making money. Sad shit.
It does seem bad in hindsight, but the ASIC miner manufacturers chose prices that seemed reasonable at the time, given what was expected to happen to the difficulty, delivery dates, and hashing power of the units. KnC actually delivered significantly higher spec equipment than people paid for, and pretty close to on time. Everyone who invested expected that they would get more BTC out of the deal than they put in, or they wouldn't have gone ahead, but unfortunately the difficulty rose faster that we all expected, and so we will all lose out. KnC's business model would have depended on selling hardware at higher prices initially, so I'm sure they can't just refund, or give our extra hardware to make sure their customers. It's an unpredictable world, and unfortunately the only way to make money from mining seems to be making mining equipment. You can't really blame the ASIC producers for our loss, as we decided their price was good enough to take a chance on. I think that if KNC truly cares about their costumers They should not start to produce the 2nd batch. Instead offer 2nd batch customers a BTC refund or make them the first preorders in line for their second gen miners. Delivering 2nd batch now will hurt both batch 1 and batch 2 for obvious reasons(and maybe delay 2nd gen production because of the time spent on 2nd batch production). KNC earned a lot till now. I assume they can afford to wait for a while with their sales. KNC stated they will not forget their costumers. Here is their chance to prove it! (which they won't, of course). but dont forget too, if they dont make enough unit they cant cover the cost, especially those minimum order for the chip to be produce. |

Users will be able to withdraw holdings and Bitcoins from their BitFunder accounts before and after November 1, 2013. As I understand it; US and non-verified users cannot buy or sell shares after November 1st but can get BTC out thru bitfunder.. if thats the case its still not THAT bad, not everyone do trading on bitfunder, especially this groupbuy where we just use that platform for easier distribute of payout. but i feel there will be issue if US and non verified user continue to use this site. sorry for bad english. |

BitFundermy english is not THAT good, so i still dont understand part of the statement by them. even we are not using weexchange to exchange btc into USD ( transfer from weexchange to my wallet directly ) still need get VERIFIED status to do that ? or they will not transfer the BTC to weexchange until our account get VERIFIED? |

I imagine u all saw the post of reddit about a jupiter miner "catching fire" I suggest, at least in the early stage, to not let the miners go 24hours, but every few hours maybe shut them down for few minutes/half an hour, so maybe the delicate parts gets use to the stress of mining, could make sense?
rapid and multiple cold and heat will cause stress to the board/component too, just make sure everything is ok then should be no problem. Some GPU too have caps blown issue. |
