3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you have info about the best IEO token sale? and where is the IEO held? on: April 28, 2019, 01:08:19 PM
I always monitor the Exchange popular. With that, I always get information regarding the IEO. Because I prefer to invest in the IEO on a large exchange. With that you can get big profit too. And one more before investing, of course you have to see what the project looks like.

Smaller exchanges don't really care. They are looking to make money from listing the IEO rather protecting their reputation and their users.

Exchanges lost a lot of profits when market crashed, and they are low on income. If you take the daily real trading volume and multiple by maker and taker fees. You will see small amounts of profit that sometimes barely cover the servers costs and salaries.

If the market doesn't pick up soon, small exchanges will start shutting down. They can't maintain the business this way.

That's why even as user, you should never leave any kind of crypto assets on the exchange. We have already seen Gatecoin, Liqui, Coinone and several others going up with statements that they are shutting down due to low income.

At Cointelligence we are trying to help thw community by Rating these exchanges, but it's not enough. Your should always try to mitigate the risk by holding your own assets when you finish your trading day.

Hello all

i have questions for you, please help me to answer this question, maybe you can help another members (trader) about my question too
at the moment, many exchanges that open IEO token sale, almost every exchanges doing that. According to you, what is the best IEO token sale now? and where is the IEO held?

We can't really tell which one is the best, just like ICO, we don't have any idea unless the project really did good in attracting investors.

I'm not into but maybe this list can help you out: https://coincodex.com/ieo-list/. Best of luck to you.

I got one more guide to find info about the IEO. maybe I need to update my post by adding suggestions from all members about websites that provide info about the IEO. btw, thanks bro  Wink
You can find that on icodrops and that's much better rather than any other listing website. The best IEO will be an IEO that runs in the major crypto exchange site. The major crypto will bring instant demand that will give a huge impact to the price of the token or coin itself.

Yet Cointelligence is the only website that has ratings as well for exchanges. Before deciding to participate in IEO there are 2 major things to mark on your list.
Is it legit exchange?
Is it legit project?

Check cointelligence exchange page https://www.cointelligence.com/exchanges_list/

For example Coineal seems to be shady exchange with score of 2.1/10. Even if you put there the best IEO I would NOT deposit my money there.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of IEO (Initial Exchange Offering) platforms + profit statistics on: April 20, 2019, 07:27:35 AM

Cointelligence IEO List

The traditional medium for funding blockchain startups has always been the Initial coin offering (ICO). Where the founders trade newly minted tokens in exchange for a specified cryptocurrency, the most common till date is Ethereum (ETH). There is usually a smart contract governing the ICO process, depending on set of rules that the startup has set prior the fundraising activity.

ICO’s have had some scamming incidents in the past, where investors are deceived into sending crypto currencies to parties not involved with the ICO, sending currencies to the wrong wallets and worse, where the founders have disappeared with the investor’s funds. According to a study by the Satis Group, over 75% of ICO’s were labelled as “identified scams”, where the parties behind the coins never had the intention of using the funds for a real project.

Naturally a lot of trust issues arose which seems to scare investors away from ICO’s, these are some of the concerns which led to the creation of the initial exchange offering (IEO).

An IEO is a fundraising event administered on a cryptocurrency exchange platform. The exchange acts as a counterparty between the investor and the parties hoping to raise funds, the founders mint new tokens and sends them to the exchange for funding. They include terms of trade like capping individual contributions and having a fixed price per token.

The exchange will assess the project for potential, and that all parties that may have a significant influence on its profitability or success have not withdrawn their support. The exchange may decide not to facilitate the IEO if there have been significant changes to that effect. However one has to weigh the need for the exchange to make money against how much it values its reputation, as some exchanges might stil list IEOs that are less legit for the sake of making profit on the IEO listing process.

The investor who would like to take part in an initial exchange offering (IEO) will need to set up an account with the exchange. The exchange will perform the necessary personal information checks, and perform KYC and AML checks on the investor. After registration, the investor will need to fund the newly opened account with cryptocurrency or FIAT.

Prior the start of an IEO, the exchange is presenting to its existing user base, as well to the public, the terms of the upcoming IEO, including the IEO price, IEO start date and the IEO end date.

Different IEO Launchpads use different currencies, therefore the investor may need to hold more than one currency in the account if they intend to participate in multiple offerings.  The funds in the account will be used to purchase the newly minted coins.

Below you can find ongoing and upcoming Initial Exchange offering list, IEO List, that presents the projects that are in process of doing IEO

It is easier to find and complete, I did not find this announcement before except from official social media exchanges.
thanks for sharing.

Feedback is welcomed

I got woried by this project, some queries are not yet attended, amd the thread owner's last part was more than three weeks ago, and hosam mazawi, that most likely act as the moderator, last activity was almost one month ago.

Are they active on other medias?

Hey,
I'm not very active on personal level on BTT. I check on weekly basis if there are relevant questions then login and answer.
If you have any questions feel free to join our telegram where I'm usually more available.

FYI - We are pretty close to deploy RKZ to mainnet and launch the stablecoin Smiley

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ROCKZ - IS THE WORLD’S MOST BULLETPROOF CRYPTOCURRENCY on: December 18, 2018, 04:52:19 PM
Can I get a help with my question, please?

To conclude several of your posts above, am I correct to illustrate that several amount of APZ can be traded into RKZ, where the APZ is what we trade on marketplace, and RKZ is like... the main goal where everybody should be aiming for due to its stability? Is there any ratio of APZ:RKZ?

Hey,
RKZ is the product, it's stablecoin backed by Swiss Franc.
APZ - is utility token that provide access to RKZ platform, to issue new RKZ and redeem RKZ to cash you need to hold minimum of 500 APZ, as well to access Credit cards and other privileges you need higher amount of APZ.
In future we will issue EUR and other backed stablecoins, and holders of APZ will get early access.
As well the longer you hold the APZ in your wallet the higher discounts you receive on the platform.

As for trading APZ/RKZ:
We are aiming to list RKZ as trading pair on exchanges. So users will be able to trade RKZ/BTC, RKZ/ETH and more.
APZ - will be listed as normal token trading against BTC mainly.
We are not sure yet if any exchange will list RKZ/APZ trading pair. so we can't say what will be the ratio

So we'll need to buy and hold 500 APZ before we can buy RKZ? What currency does available to purchase eithet RKZ or APZ? Will we be able to buy RKZ directly from USD or CHF?

I don't quite understand with your sentence about EUR in the future. Do I understand correctly that RKZ will not only be backed up with CHF but also EUR? Or will there be a third coin called EKZ or something in that fashion to host the EUR?

Hey,
Indeed for you to access the ROCKZ (RKZ) platform and buy you will need to buy membership which is 500 APZ.
Now, in the private sale, we are selling APZ, you can buy with BTC, ETH or bank transfer in USD,CHF,EUR or other currency.

RKZ - will be backed only by CHF (Swiss Franc)
In future we are planning to issue EUR backed token, using the same infrastructure and legal setup we already have.

It is possible that ROCKZ will be a great project as a currency backed cryptocurrency. But I am not sure if it will actually solve the problem of high volatility being faced today in the cryptocurrency space. Maybe I would need more tutorial on that.  Aside from that, may I know why it is only 5% of the total tokens that is going for public sale?

I also join the above question, why such a small amount is allocated for public sale in the amount of 5% and what is the reason?

this is great question, sorry for the late reply.
We are aware that we wont have millions of users from day one, so the circulation supply should be appropriate, if there are too many tokens on them market and there is no one to buy them there will be no value to APZ.

Referring to our whitepaper page 40, 8.4B
ESCROW AND VESTING MECHANISMS

In order to offer potential future users to enter ROCKZ platform at a later point of time, while we prove the strong use case of ROCKZ, we have developed the following mechanisms directly in our smart contract:

ESCROW MECHANISM
Out of the 175,000,000 units of APZ minted (“max. supply”)
• Only 10% (17,500,000 units of APZ) will be sold during our private sale, and 5%
(8,750,000 units of APZ) during our ICO. Overall only 15% of max. supply to be sold
(26,250,000 units of APZ) during our private sale and ICO.
• The remaining tokens will be distributed as follows:
Ì 10% (17,500,000 units of APZ) to our early-stage / seed investors with no
vesting
Ì 15% (26,250,000 units of APZ) to our Founders, Core team and Advisors with a
vesting over 18 months
Ì 60% (105,000,000 units of APZ) in escrow (“the escrow”) to be released as
treasury with the following specific mechanism:
• Directly after the ICO, 8.34% of the escrow (8,750,000 units of tokens)
which is approx. equivalent to 5% of max. supply will be available as
treasury to manage the APZ’s supply, as well as demand in excess of the
supply on secondary markets.
• The rest of the escrow, which post-ICO is 105,000,000 – 8,750,000 =
96,250,000 units, will stay in escrow, and will be released at our discretion
as follows:
• No tokens released in the first six months after the ICO.
• Starting six months after the ICO, up to 3% (3.06%) of the escrow to be
released per month (3,207,750 units of APZ) over a minimum of 30 months
(post ICO escrow/ 3.06% of the escrow which gives 96,250,000/3,207,750
= 30.05 months) and a total number of months of 36 months (30 + 6
freeze).

It is good.
I like the idea that Rockz is been backed by Swiss currency

But, why not?
I don't think your idea is right.
All things in crypto world affected (dramatically) by bitcoin, no one can be exception.
Quote
which means a very little chance of being dragged down by the great btc Cool
But where am a bit confuse is - does it means that Rockz will not have a btc pair at all when listed on exchange? Because btc is always the reason why alts bleeds, once btc is down all alts will be down as well just like what is currently going on now in the market.

Then you should read the content of the project properly from the front page and not hang on to my personal observations, if a coin is described to be a stable coin backed by fiat (Swiss currency), what does that tells you?
If you believe it will be "affected dramatically" according to you, then do you think it is worthy to be called a stable coin?
Again with such view point of yours, may i know how you describe a stable coin in your own understanding?

We are not here to replace Bitcoin (BTC), the other way around, we are supporters of decentralization, we launched ROCKZ to help the crypto community enter and exit the market easily, as well provide people access to Swiss banks.
Users holding RKZ own the cash that is deposited to vaults and banks, it's not our money, it's user's money. So even if Alprockz go bankrupt users can still access the vaults and banks and redeem the tokens for cash!

Im not really an expert of this new stable coins in the market and I want to ask how an investor on this ICO can make profit into stablecoins? As we know that its price is fixed and cannot increase in value like any other cryptocurrency.
I think that you should understand that as a result it will not cost more or less than 1CHF, except for some correction. And if it is now sale at 0.6, then you can assume that you will have in a result.

you are mistaken here. the discount is not on RKZ (the stablecoin)
the discount is on APZ - the utility token.

We can't give discount on RKZ Smiley

We have dual token model
RKZ - is token which is the stablecoin, or in other words it's our product.
APZ - Utility token which is used to access the RKZ platform, anyone who would like to issue or redeem RKZ, needs to hold minimum 500 APZ.
APZ tokens as well provide fees discount, issuance of credit card with our banking partners as well other privileges. You can check our whitepaper from Page 33 we explain our token model and how it works.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ROCKZ - IS THE WORLD’S MOST BULLETPROOF CRYPTOCURRENCY on: December 06, 2018, 12:32:21 PM
Given the recent disappointing-aren't you afraid of this platform?
I mean Ethereum-after all, the token is created on the basis of ether.
How do you imagine the correction?

there is no correlation between the price of ETH and how it effects our product functionality.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ROCKZ - IS THE WORLD’S MOST BULLETPROOF CRYPTOCURRENCY on: December 06, 2018, 12:30:34 PM
Why do you say your token is very strong, what is the main foundation that drives that ROCKZ is feasible for risk mitigation

RKZ - is backed by the Swiss Franc, the most stable FIAT currency compared to USD, EUR or other currencies.
Users have full ownership over the underlying assets, means users are able to access the funds at any given time, the funds belong to  RKZ holders and not to us or to the banks we work with.
We simply give users from all over the world access to the Swiss banking system in more feasible way.

Even in the worst case where Alprockz face bankruptcy, users will still be able to access their funds, since RKZ is recognized by the banks we work with as normal money. Means anyone who holds RKZ has actual money.

If you look at all the stablecoins in the market, none of them give access to the reserves.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ROCKZ - IS THE WORLD’S MOST BULLETPROOF CRYPTOCURRENCY on: December 06, 2018, 12:24:41 PM
OK. Swiss can be trusted like Swiss banks, Swiss chocolate, Swiss watches. I hope that your project will be successful and the funds of investors will grow and will be securely stored as in a Swiss bank.

We are fully committed to deliver the platform by end of December, note we are regulated in Switzerland as financial intermediary
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / These 24 ICOs raised $2.8 Billion. They have almost 0 trading volume. on: November 27, 2018, 02:56:06 PM
The ICO market boomed in 2017. The number of crypto startups is hard to pin down, but most sources agree that is over five hundred were launched in 2017.

In fact, every day last year at least one project was launched, and those ICOs raised more than $5 billion. This year the tendency has stayed the same. By mid-year, the number of ICOs launched was already over 550, and the total raised funds were over $12 billion. The industry is flourishing but is it as good as it seems to be?

The research shows that ICOs have significant economic problems.

As I understand it, the backbone of your team is the representatives of Switzerland. Do you use the power of Swiss capital to create and maintain your project? Do you want to somehow maintain the dollar in your coin?

Most of our team is from Switzerland, the project was funded initially by 2 capital raises in Switzerland from Swiss private investors. We have done this in order to build our product and our team as well Smiley
