We still need some time to wait for the developers

He is in a bad situation now

About three months

He told me that he would do his best to help solve the problems

Maybe a class action law suite would help?

When my price comes in. I guess I will convert my crypto to US Dollar coin on Coinbase and or Coinbase Pro. Then wire it into my checking account. Any thing wrong with this plan? Tongue

Would it be better to wire the US Dollar Coin from Coinbase Pro or Coinbase?

That makes sense.

I would max out your withdrawal limits on Coinbase Pro. They should automatically raise them after that. I've never used them to "trade" really, mainly just as a fiat offramp. My experience was that they automatically raised my limit to $50,000/day after I had made a few $1,000-$5,000 withdrawals.
I'm already up to 10,000 on Coinbase Pro. I think I can sell the limit of a 250,000 bank wire on Coinbase.  I bet their will be problems.

I'm not sure if Kraken is the best way to go, and I think Gemini has higher fees.

After researching. I found that they are for lower amounts on withdrawls.
5  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best, inexpensive, convenient, and safe way to cash out BTC and other Crypto. on: December 23, 2019, 04:27:10 PM
Definitely there are better ways to cashout with much cheaper fees, for example, p2p sites like localbitcoin only will collect 1% as a fee from the total traded amount ad the advertiser end and also their withdrawal fee is pretty cheaper comparably coinbase and any other centralized exchange.

Paxful and Bisq also can be a better option but these are not from exchange account, it will be from someone's account to your account.

That's ok for smaller amounts.

Coinbase charges a 0.5% price spread and a 1.5%-10% fee, depending on the amount traded

Thanks. Do you happen to know how much you have to trade to get the fee's down?

It's needlessly complex. You can find all the info here. The flat fee works like this:

Quote
  • If the total transaction amount is less than or equal to $10, the fee is $0.99.
  • If the total transaction amount is more than $10 but less than or equal to $25, the fee is $1.49.
  • If the total transaction amount is more than $25 but less than or equal to $50, the fee is $1.99.
  • If the total transaction amount is more than $50 but less than or equal to $200, the fee is $2.99.

I recommend depositing to Coinbase Pro and selling there. You'll save a boatload on fees. You can withdraw USD to your checking account from there, no need to transfer to Coinbase.
I started an account on Coinbase Pro but they won't yet raise my limits until I do some trading. I'm done trading I want and want to cash out most of my Crypto. So far that's all I have tried is Coinbase and Coinbase Pro. ON Coinbase I have 3rd level clearance. It looks like I will pay 3% on Coinbase. I don't mind paying some modest fee's to get larger amounts out quickly. I'm not a whale but I have a significant amount. I'll probably do both until I get familiar with Coinbase Pro. I might even hook my accounts up to 2 banks in case I have trouble with one of them.

Coinbase is going to cost about a total of 3% of your BTC to cash out. You first have to change the BTC to US Dollars. Then you can bank wire it to your checking account. Up to whatever your limit is. Their is also Coinbase Pro which is a little  more complicated. I think you have to trade yourself but it is cheaper.

Is there another better way? I want to know the facts before the next run up. Not after.  Huh

I notice I can only run the program. It doesn't really install? So I can't really uninstall it either? I look in the add remove programs and no Quark program is listed? It runs but never connects to the node? I guess it uninstalls on shut down?  Huh Zero active connections to Quark Network after running for 12 minutes?
What OS are you using? What does your quarkcoin.conf look like?

Windows 7.                      Quarkcoin.conf? Where is that?

additionally:
i sent some QRK onto the new 10.7.4 wallet,... it was pending for 24hrs... restarted it and then it finally said that it was confirmed, i guess it did not update the transaction while the wallet was open? just after restarting the wallet it got confirmed,...

im going to send some QRK coins again to see if that problem occurs...

How did you get your wallet to work? No Block source available.

When enough supporters use 0.10.7.4
POS can produce correctly
If it's so great and we need it so bad, why not list it here?
The link was posted earlier today, just a few posts before yours.
https://github.com/quark-project-evolution/quark/releases/tag/v0.10.7.4

They erased the link I listed. I'm talking about the Quark Website listed on Coinmarket Cap. If you listed it there you would get much more traffic. If I down load it and install will I be able to synch the wallet?
We are continually trying to notify these listing sites, they are proving difficult to get in contact with and update their records.
If you download the latest version you will be able to synch the wallet.  You can always add the latest nodes list from cryptoid blockchain explorer which is up to date. Here:
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/qrk/#!network

I downloaded v0.10.7.4     (3 weeks behind  No Block Source Available)........... WTF?

on windows go to your folder
Code:
%AppData%\Roaming\Quarkcoin
create a file
Code:
quarkcoin.conf
and insert addnodes, than restart your wallet

Can I just copy paste in this format?

addnode=101.132.153.65
addnode=103.40.29.59
addnode=104.206.240.10

Or this
addnode 101.132.153.65 add

Or just numbers?

You have to have this format for it to work. For any out there that don't know programming.

addnode 101.132.153.65 add  Roll Eyes

Uninstalled old wallet and installed 0.10.7.3 I'm still getting down to 2 weeks and then it says, "No block source available". So I guess I should Remove everything but the dat file and download the block chain again? Tongue

You may not be able to connect to enough effective nodes
You can try these

addnode=207.148.103.67
addnode=212.162.148.37
addnode=36.72.197.196
addnode=38.27.97.24

addnode=45.32.123.41
addnode=47.52.19.237
addnode=47.92.129.82
addnode=49.66.118.123
addnode=49.66.132.207
addnode=52.232.40.195
addnode=74.222.19.4
addnode=95.217.9.135

I'm thanking you ahead of time because I know this is going to work. Ha.
I'm not a coder. Do I copy and paste these where? Together or one at a time?

I'm now using Quark Core Version v0.0.10.6.3 f096c29-dirty (64 bit) if this matters.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinTracking - Profit/Loss Portfolio and Tax Reporting for Digital Currencies on: September 06, 2019, 09:36:02 AM
Sorry if this has been asked before. What is normally done if some of the exchanges you traded on no longer exist? All I have are emails with withdrawals from a few exchanges? How do you approach this scenario?   Tongue
Hi justmyname,

Did you record the trade history anywhere else? Is the operator of the Exchange still reachable by email?
You can only enter what you know. If the data is missing, you have to do without it.

Thanks for the response. I have no records. The exchanges closed down before I got around to recording the trades. They haven't respond when I have tried to reach them.

I didn't do much trading. Just buy and hold. If I would have known the way they were going to tax this I would have just bought Bitcoin only. But I didn't know because no dependable information was available as usual.  All the alternative coins have went down in value from what I payed for them with the exception of Lite Coin. So far (according to what I understand from CoinTracking)  I only owe them $500 dollars in 2014 and when I liquidate  (or write off) that coin they will owe me much more than $500. I don't know about the rest of the coins though.

Looks like it's time to get a CPA and come up with a strategy.
