21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy these altcoins!!! on: September 24, 2019, 09:46:07 AM
Thoses coins are good choices. But i don't guarantee that we are going to see profits at the end of this year. The altcoins are still in bear mode. But they are a little better than last month.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think of tokens that did not update their Bitcointalk thread on: September 24, 2019, 09:38:07 AM
I think it is very bad from thoses teams to not update their bitcointalk thread. I prefer looking at bitcointalk than at their telegram channel as a lot of spammers/scammers are on telegram.
And not updating the bitcointalk thread make the coin looks like a dead coin.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Token Swaps Kill The Idea Of Hodling on: September 23, 2019, 03:47:00 PM
You are right. Token swaps can kill the value of a coin. A lot of projects did so. Some still have their tokens active on the Ethereum blockchain.
And sometimes they increase the number of tokens to try to attract more investors and to make the tokens value less expensive. (For example the swap of VEN to VET for VeChain)
But that's very bad for token holders as they might lose more money in the short term. And there is no guarantee that the project will become successful in the future.
The announcement of the token swap to all token holders can be very difficult, as not everyone is going to subscribe to the newsletter of the project or is connected to the Telegram channel.
And people should take a lot of time just to read what is happening with all the tokens they are holding. It is a real nightmare to follow each projects.
And the swap can't be done automatically as the holders need a new wallet in the new blockchain.
That's why holding coins on an exchange is more practical, but it is more dangerous in case of a hack or disappearance of the exchange.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoins ever come back again on: September 23, 2019, 08:55:32 AM
Now that altcoins are almost dead, it is a better idea to invest in altcoins than bitcoin i think. But there is certainly some people who are thinking the contrary.
It will take a little more time for altcoins to regain their value.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: !!! Let 's become a multimillionaire IN 1 YEAR !!! on: September 23, 2019, 08:47:17 AM
How can you be certain that the coin you have chosen is going to be worth enough for you to become a millionnaire?
I hope your dream will become true. But don't forget that a majority of people are going to be poorer than richer like in the real life. Only a few people can become rich and not the majority of people.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Value??? on: September 20, 2019, 09:45:34 AM
No, IEO doesn't need ETH as people need the coin from the exchange. And ICO is no more popular. Price of ETH is only speculation. Only traders can make its price increase or decrease.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Trust a Project Announce BY A Legendary Member on: September 20, 2019, 09:40:43 AM
No, i would not trust a project just because it was announced by a legendary member. The project can be a scam too. It is surely better than making an announcement with a Newbiew account. But there is no proof that the project is going to be successful or not. It is just that the team is going to pay more the person in charge for creating the project announcement.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Btc price is allready too high on: September 19, 2019, 02:05:51 PM
if you look at the price it might be too high, but if you look at the total supply of existing coins, the current price of bitcoin is still very cheap, the price of bitcoin can be expensive when bitcoin has reached the maximum limit and it is very difficult to get bitcoin.
You should not look at the total supply, as some coins have the same total supply of coin and all the coins have been mined, but the price of a coin is less than 3 cent (for example ixcoin). The price depends on the volume of exchange. For me, the price of bitcoin is high. But for people who got it at a lesser price (or free), they would tell you that it is not expensive. It is the same thing with all things being traded.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Last 3 Months of 2019! What is your prediction about the Market? on: September 19, 2019, 08:49:48 AM
For me, i don't think we will see Bitcoin at 20000 USD at the end of this year. I think we will see the start of an altcoin season on next year. But anything can happen very fast in cryptos and predictions can become wrong too.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bad projects are been dealt with by altcoin bear market on: September 19, 2019, 08:41:40 AM
There were surely very good projects in 2017 and 2018. But because of the bear market, they are almost dead now. They have restarted to live this week. But i think altcoins season won't happen immediately. Prices are going to stabilize before the real altcoins season. But current price is still very good to buy good altcoins. The prices in USD will depend on the price of Bitcoin.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Stellar Lie on TOP 10th Position on Coimarketcap (CMC) on: September 19, 2019, 08:33:50 AM
Stellar has fall so much compare to BTC and USD. It needs a big correction like other altcoins. But i don't think we will see an immediate bull run for altcoins. They are maybe going to stabilize a little before the real bull run. But current price is still very low for all altcoins. But the price compare to USD will depend on the price of Bitcoin.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding Altcoins can get you Rekt on: September 18, 2019, 01:45:03 PM
Holding at a higher price can get you rekt. Holding bitcoin at more than $12000 is the same, or holding Euros when it was 40 percent higher is the same thing.
That's why you need a lot of patience and should know a little about trading before buying cryptos.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Time to Sell Altcoins on: September 18, 2019, 08:28:39 AM
Now is the best time to hodl your altcoins. Selling altcoins when it was falling is not a good idea. Except if you succeed to sell them at a higher price. It is a good time to buy altcoins.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Browser extensions can steal bitcoin on: September 17, 2019, 10:37:17 PM
Any extension can read what you do and send on the internet. And some are used to debug a webpage... That's mean they can read all what you type and what website you are surfing on.
They are all potential threat to steal your passwords, private keys and information if the developers of thoses extensions decide to recover all the datas.
That's why an extension should only be activate when necessary.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am receiving EOS in my wallet without doing anything on: September 17, 2019, 09:40:16 AM
Maybe someone is using the same wallet as yours... How is it possible? I don't really know. Poor him if you withdraw his funds... Wallet in EOS is not safe if 2 or more people can access the same wallet.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The price of Bitcoin is starting to weaken, is it now the right time to invest? on: September 17, 2019, 09:37:11 AM
It is good to invest in altcoins as they are still very low. Bitcoin has already done its bull run. I don't really think it can increase a lot more. It looks a little like when Bitcoin was at $6000 on last year. But i don't really know what can really happen.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which do you think is better, buy at tokensale or buy at public exchange? on: September 16, 2019, 09:26:41 AM
There is less risk to buy at a public exchange as the price the token is tradeable and you can see the real trend of the price of the token.
Buying at tokensale can be profitable, but the inverstors are taking a lot of risks as they don't really know at what price the token is going to be exchangeable. It is like betting in a casino.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are the scam projects killing entire crypto space? on: September 13, 2019, 09:42:36 AM
I don't think that scam projects are killing the entire crypto space. Look at what happened in 2017. There were a lot of scams, but prices of cryptos did increase like never seen before.
I don't know if there are more or less scam projects from this year or in 2017. But in 2017, there were plenty of scam projects. And some projects didn't look like scam.
There is surely some scam projects this year too, but they are surely getting less money than in 2017.
There is more scams when the price of cryptos increase as it attracts more scammers.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE to BTC on: September 13, 2019, 09:34:17 AM
I would not sell my doge and i would wait for the bull season for altcoins. But who really know where is the bottom price? But it is your money. Do what you think is right for you.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is whitepaper important in the project? on: September 12, 2019, 09:25:59 AM
Yes, whitepaper is very important for a project. But they are sometimes not followed by the company who created it. And the rules can be changed after the appearance of the token or coin at the exchanges. It is important as it gives an idea what the team want to achieve, but it should not be 100 percent trusted.
