Exactly one month ago I sent them an email with the signed message. They asked me to email from the email I used to lock the account. I explained them the situation -
1. Yop mail is open access email. That's why I changed the email but random person clicked the link & my account got locked.
2. I signed a message from an unedited address from over 2 years ago. I didn't change the password as well. so it's clear account is not hacked.
3. I am surprised that people who are in charge don't even know how yopmail works.
they replied to me twice but after I explained the situation they are not replying again. I just feel bad that they don't care about their users.

Try resetting the password of the account, it'll give you an account recovery email, try sending a mail to that and pray to all the gods in existence.. they're responding first few days then they went dark. |

This is a component of a comprehensive new set of recovery procedures which will be fully rolled out in the very near future (before the end of the year). This will allow recoveries to move forward at a reasonable pace again. But there is no immediate impact of this component to most people; I just needed to document it because the seclog entries are starting to appear.
If you are given an email address on the page which tells you that your account is locked, then it may have recently changed. If so, sending an email to the new address may expedite things.

I think the reason is "Everything is accepted here except spamming" if someone opens 4 topics for one same issue. just report it. I don't think he is getting paid more likely another guy with 24/7 weed mood.

The OP has a decent amount of positive trust and trade history. Provided there are no red flags indicating the OP might not be the owner of his account, I would recommend processing his request. @OP -- I would recommend that you amend your signed message to include an email address you want associated with your account. Your signed message does not specify ask to have your account unlocked. Perhaps a good signed message would be: My account <account> has been hacked/lost. Please reset the email to <email>. The current date is <date>.

Didn't know things related to account recovery or unlocking accounts take so much time. Very challenging but I wish I've the power to recover these accounts would take 24hr only! |

The email address was changed recently,so it made a doubt in my mind that the real owner of that account locked the account when someone hacked his account.
BTW you already verified the message from old address so wait for the reply from the one who can unlock your account but there are huge number of people in the queue before your account to get their account back even after proving the ownership.
Depends, if we have a change of password before that message... I think mods or global mods can check if OP account has a password's change before posting that address. The password is not changed & won't change in near future. As my password is very strong! It's not hacked, It's locked! I made a silly mistake while changing the email! |
