341  Economy / Speculation / Re: SELL EVERYTHING!!! on: September 02, 2018, 04:56:23 PM
Looking at the time the OP made this thread, if he really sold everything, he will be laughing at us because the prices have cut into half the price at that time. That is one disadvantage of crypto but we will never get frustrated. I am very hopeful that crypto will enter the bull trend very soon and we shall laugh and be happy again.
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coin vs Tokens on: September 02, 2018, 04:53:29 PM
Coins need more time to establish but tokens are established on an already established blockchain making it easy to establish. People do call ethereum as a scam and praise tokens that are established on ethereum blockchain as being good. When I see this, I begin to wonder how they take it to be.
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH is now dying, what do you think? on: September 02, 2018, 03:33:44 PM
Ethereum is still a coin to stay with us and it has also helped it the improvement and acceptance of cryptocurrency. Most people even think crypto is all about having myether wallet and that's is all Cheesy. Ethereum has been massively affected by the bear market and there is nothing we can do about this. Those who hold more can do something at the moment by not selling but not possible though. Whatever happens at the moment should be embraced and let's wait for the right time to come.
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Average time for a bounty project on: September 01, 2018, 07:18:07 PM
I see the latest bounties to be over three months which really provokes me but I have nothing to say about it because it is optional and no one forces you to do the bounty. For me, I like those bounties which are short and even if they don't pay that much, I am ok. It really hurts to do a bounty for over 4 months and it ending in scam or getting as low as 404 for the whole period.
345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: All my tokens in MEW stolen! on: August 31, 2018, 10:58:00 PM
Mostly, this is as a result of close friends. So investigate the matter with the people around you. Secondly, if you are someone who saves private keys together with wallet addresses, then it might be that you mistakenly copied the private key and sent for payment of some tokens. You may have signed in to a phishing site and your details stolen. These may be the main reasons why your account will get hacked.s
346  Economy / Economics / Re: Newbies panic & Old timers smile, when the Bitcoin price take a dip. on: August 31, 2018, 01:51:54 PM
Panic is part of every investment and for that market crypto enthusiasts are not an exception to this. It is normal to panic at some point when you see that there is no hope again. Most newbies do not have bitcoins but rather some cheap coins which are now really falling, there is no way you can allay this kind of anxiety this person may be having seeing his investments sinking. We just have to make feasible hopes which will help us to enjoy in future. Setting of too much higher goals can kill all your investments.
347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is dangerous.... on: August 30, 2018, 05:57:19 PM
Crypto is indeed dangerous if you do not plan well. You should not aim too high if not you will always make loses. For instance, a coin worth 0.1$ each, you shouldn't aim for 1 dollar before you start taking your profits. This is the main reason why we continue to say crypto is dangerous because we aim to high and even if we have made some considerable amount of money, we do not appreciate it.
348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I bought bitcoin at $20k last year on: August 30, 2018, 02:07:16 PM
It is a normal act to regret your actions of buying crypto at higher prices and then seeing them fall like someone was monitoring you to buy. It happens to me most often but one thing that strengthens me is that I do make some profits sometimes so i see the whole business to be a risk taking stuff. Do not go in with only positive minds but rather also think of the possibility of losing.
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New ways of investing money? on: August 29, 2018, 11:22:53 PM
Right now, I am not looking for new ways to invest in any project because I have already done my investment and now I am just waiting for my profits to take. I am happy with the current market showing some bullish characteristics. Hoping that I get my profits soon.
350  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin become centralized sometime in the future? on: August 12, 2018, 11:50:03 PM
I foresee bitcoin being centralized in sometime to come. There are a lot of people working on decentralization of bitcoin and crypto in general, binance, one of the biggest crypto exchange announced a beta decentralized exchanged. The problem is that people are still thinking about how the whole crypto business can shut down in just a day or two. So everyone is vigilant. Centralizing bitcoin will get more people into the bitcoin world as they have and know where to go in case of any scam issues.
351  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto replacing fiat? on: August 12, 2018, 04:06:30 PM
Crypto is not wholly replacing fiat as we are thinking. It will just blend with fiat to make our living in this technological world of our days more easy. Online payment has been a major problem that we face even as I write. People find it difficult to purchase things online especially those without credit cards. Crypto is just one of the payment methods that does not require one's location. All you have to do is to load you address and start making payments
352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is exchange? on: August 11, 2018, 06:46:54 PM
Exchanges are good enough to protect our funds by storing them in  a cold wallet. They process any withdrawal request and send our funds back. It takes an expert to hack an exchange and these people can also hack our personal wallets if we mess up with things. It is better you don't make a mistake with your wallet.
353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: holding and prices will go up ? on: August 11, 2018, 12:45:14 PM
Everyone is holding and saying prices will go up again what can make prices go up again ? I do believe it will go up but not like last December unless something comes in and changes the market so what do you think it could be ?

Nothing good is coming to lift the price of cryptos to the moon. It's all about speculation. Do not expect something big to come, last year as you said the price went high, there was nothing like a big news. it was all about speculations which ended the way it did. We just have to keep focused and set some targets for ourselves. Then take your profits when those target are met. Do not expect more when you reach your target.
354  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why we will see $50k Bitcoin end of year on: August 11, 2018, 11:30:14 AM

The relationship between ETF approval and Bitcoin price is pure speculation with no substance. And if you want to add data, for substance, you'll see, as said, the history tells otherwise than you do.
Another thing is that the ETF may not be approved this year - it could be rejected or postponed. Any of those options will not help the price.

So from what I see all you wanted was some extra traffic to your podcast(s)  Undecided

you spoke like a prophet. This is what is exactly happening on the market right now. The postponement of the ETF has had a very bad side for bitcoin and the altcoins as well. I think it is about time we stopped creating a relationship between them because it could make the price come down a lot if they keep postponing.
355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The FALL OF BITCOIN on: August 11, 2018, 08:21:59 AM
I don't agree with you that bitcoin used as an investment tool with bring the fall of bitcoin. We use our respective fiats to do these kind of investment we are doing with bitcoin. If you did not know, the stocks market is more or less like the crypto market. So why do you predict the fall when all currencies can be used in investments.
356  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one do you prefer?Increase your Bitcoin or ِDollar? on: August 10, 2018, 06:52:12 PM
Dollar is too much a stable coin to see it double. If I am to choose which is most likely to double, i will invest in bitcoin which is very feasible. It is not logical to say the dollar will double when 1 dollar will always be one dollar in the US unless maybe you are from a different country where you compare the it with your local fiats. Even with that, it is very slow to happen compared to bitcoin which can happen in a day or two.
357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is the King of ICO, Do you agree? on: August 10, 2018, 04:54:39 PM
You are right, no one can debunk that. And one funny thing I have witnessed is that only a few of the ICOs done on platforms other than ethereum succeed, taking away those with their own blockchain. Neo, waves and other platform held icos do not do well at all. The adoption of ethereum is just a luck as I do say and not anything special. The crypto community seems to favor those who have support already and then people troop in that way.
358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find the right coins to buy on: August 10, 2018, 02:39:20 PM
For me, I would not say there is a right coin on the market. Just look for a coin which has good daily volumes and not those that are abandoned by their devs. Also, remember to look for coins that has got many people talking about it and not just a pnd coin. These should be okay for you to make it.
359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you sell 100% of your holdings when in profit or hodl? on: August 10, 2018, 12:03:15 PM
I did that at first. Last year when the market was bullish, I held more than 50% of my earnings which I am not going to do again. I have learned a lot from it that we are in this crypto business for a reason which is "profit" so no need to hodl when you get the profit. I was so naïve and now very experienced. I won't do that again.
360  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Market Could Hit $1 Trillion This Year on: August 09, 2018, 10:35:15 PM
Sometimes, people see it as a big deal when we see statements like bitcoin to 50K but I am one person who always believes that bitcoin can even surpass the said price predictions. When bitcoin was less than 1K, who ever thought it could get to 5K? Some of us have hope even if there is no hope.
