Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best competitors to Ethereum?

Which are the best competitors to Ethereum, and why do you think so?
(I know on top of my head that Cardano and IOTA try to challenge Ethereum, although they still haven't proved much from my understanding?)
To date, Ethereum has no big competition. Yes, there are coins that claim to replace Ethereum, but their functionality is far from eth.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens if ICO didn't reach it's MINIMUM CAP?

I would like to be informed on what happens to your investment if ICO didn't reach its minimum capital. As far as I know, ICO will be refunded to its investor. But a particular ICO told me that their project will continue and the coins will still be on exchanges even if didnt hit the minimum cap. Is this true? or is it possible to be a scam? Thank you for your responses
There are such ico who continue to work if they have not collected enough money. Mostly, investors return money, but there are dishonest ico.

What can be the best advice for a newbie due to the present market status on learning or investing?
In today's market, a novice can not survive. I advise you to start training before you start trading or you can study the project and invest the top coin and wait until the end of the year.

Hi guys , I am a begginner in the crypto world , after a long study of the market , rules and regulations research. I am ready to start inversting . First stop that catched my interest is orbis https://orbistransfer.com . Because it has paypal and card purchase . No kyc and country restrictions so I can buy it from US. $500 dollars allocated . Any other promising icos ? What do you recomend. Update. btt link for who wants to review my first choice : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3844192.0Now there is a trend that it is better not to invest in ico, but buy these coins on the exchange. It often happens when the coin goes to the exchange it is several times cheaper than at ico.

Is it possible to happen? Altcoins crushing bitcoin in terms of price, trading, etc.? I am just curious about all of your thoughts, so don't hesitate to reply and get yourself justified This is for all of us to gain knowledge between ALTCOINS and BITCOIN. Hi, altcoyins will not be better than BTC. Btc has the strongest team and is constantly working to improve. And when the Lightning Network is added to the network, it's a lot of bandwidth, low commissions and instant translations. He will become a real king.

Now the mainstream currency, BTC-ETH, has the upper hand, and they have the strength and technology, but the future is likely to be a new project to replace them more mature and more comprehensive. What do you think it would be?
Hi, Btc will always be 1. of it will make a full payment tool when you turn on the Lightning Network. This means more bandwidth, little commissions, instant transactions.

Bitcoin To Drop As Low As $1500 This Year, Wall Street CIO Predicts
"I wouldn't be astounded if throughout the following year it's down to $1,500 to $2,500,"
Is this going to be genuine or not?
I trust that,
Everybody has the privilege to make a supposition and divider road is generally a standout amongst the most capricious money related instrument for a considerable length of time.
Despite the fact that they exchanged offers of genuine organizations whose profits are significantly more unsurprising, they for the most part experience air pocket and adjustment times where rich speculators get the benefit to the detriment of little ones. Furthermore, talk has been one of the significant weapons.
Hi btc so low will not fall. It should not fall below $ 5000, since the cost of mining is more than 5000. If it falls below it, it will cease to mine, and that means an end.

Hello forumites,
I am interested in learning the rudiments of cryptocurrency trading and that led me here. But I discovered that here is just for airing opinions on coins and bounties ( permit me if I'm wrong) and most importantly I prefer visual materials to PDF.
Please suggest where I can get videos tutorial online and other useful sites. Thanks in anticipation of your suggestions.
Hello on the Internet a lot of information also there is a video on YouTube. Study everything is available for free, you only need to enter the items of interest to you in search. Also find on the Internet, traders who offer paid training.

My mother and I had a talk about bitcoin last December 2017 or January 2018, the time where bitcoin is on its ATH. She predicted it will not go up beyond $20,000. Do you still think it will reach again its ATH?
Hello, I think that bitcoin will be more expensive than 20000. It is possible not this year, but according to the analysis, you can expect bitcoin above the previous peak.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token goes down. Wait or sell?
|
on: August 30, 2018, 12:05:28 PM

Hello everyone!
We all know that the situation with market is not that good as we want it to be. Thus it affects a lot of ICO projects. On the one hand people don't invest in coin so much money as they did last year. On the other bounty hunters sell tokens fast and the price goes very low. That is why some projects prefer list their token on Idex first. They want to see how a coin plays on market.
And what investors should do in such situation? Sell all they have for small money or wait until a token will go up?
I'm asking as a person working in such project. After ICO token price went down (KCY, I'm sure you heard of it). And It is interesting to know investor's opinion about such situation.
What is your idea?
Most likely projects go to Idex so that all those who are not ready to wait have sold their coins and only people who believe in the project remained. In this situation, if I am an investor and believe in a project, I would wait for large exchanges.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think about Stellar (XLM)?
|
on: August 30, 2018, 11:55:51 AM

Stellar has increased dramatically and currently ranks 13th on coinmarketcap, its current price is only $ 0.2. In the top 15 only XLM and NEM are priced less than 1$ Do you think stellar will rise to 1$ by 2018?
I think Stellar is an excellent, technological coin. I keep her in my briefcase and I think her fate awaits ripple. By the end of the year, a good growth is possible and can be above $ 1.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins with a very low price and small capitalization investing

Hey. Is it worth investing in coins with a very low price and small capitalization? The price is around 0.00001 dollar. That is a lot of zeros in the price. Such coins are a lot on The Yobit exchange. Often they showed a good result of 100x. Has anything changed now?
Yes you can but you are at great risk of losing money. I would invest in not expensive top coins such as ada, xlm, strat, etc. This is less risky. By the end of the year they will make a good profit.

This really what I keep on asking myself since we all know that cryptocurrency dominates the bank as time pass by. I wonder will it result to total collapse of bank industry?
Feel free to drop your comments here.thanks
It's possible but not soon. Since the Crypto currency is not yet ready to accept as many people, the Crypto currency has to process a lot of transactions in a short time now it is not possible. But they are working on it, maybe in the future we will see it.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bouty and KYC
|
on: August 29, 2018, 08:48:52 AM
|
KYC has recently been asked to finish the bouty program. This makes it difficult to update people's information. For example, participants did not update information, or some people were afraid of giving out their information because it was confidential, or some KYC could not be updated because of some program error. . With all the above reasons, participants do not have a bouty so they do not even have their tokens, although they have devoted a lot of their time to working for a long time. I think the bouty manager should announce KYC as soon as it launches the bouty program instead of announcing it at the end of the program. This will allow participants to prepare KYC from the beginning.
Yes you are right, kyc should be announced at the beginning of the company. Since there are people who basically do not want to pass kyc, and when they finally find out about kyc they get it, they've wasted their time.
