What is a Spork?

Someone asked me what a Spork is, its a feature from DASH

"Sporks are variables turned on or off by a private key"

Commands:
Code:
spork active
exec datalist spork

I tried to cast my vote in the Emergency Election but all I get is:

"Voting Failed! Check that sanctuaries are registered in masternore.conf?"

Anyone know what I need to do to vote???

You need at least 1 sanctuary. If you have one, just put
Code:
gobject vote-many 2a5c0805b0a026dd79898d50a27c49c4c2923b767c3735180e43e1dde9914bd2 funding yes
into the debug console of your controller wallet. This should do the trick. (Don't make the mistake of checking with "gobject list" though; for BBP this is an endless list taking several minutes to load). Cheesy

BiblePay is a fork of Dash coin and uses the Masternode Governance System,

We wouldn't have spent so many hard hours on PODC if we knew we were retiring it.  It felt like the way to go when we were creating it, but maybe its better that Gridcoin takes this part of the market.

No sense in bashing each other over this - lets all calm down and try to get along.

The bottom line is, let's face it, we had an original vision that any old PC could mine BiblePay right on the CPU with the original POBH algorithm.  The only thing that stopped us was the botnets copied our software out to hundreds of PCs and we didn't like our standard users getting hurt like that.  With POG, we go back to that original vision.  So please dont be upset, just switch to POG.  The idea is thousands of commodity PCs and users can participate without any mining knowledge, its great!

Nothing against the charity but since i am trying to make a profit here, and i am assuming that this is not profitable, but just giving for a charity?

Check out the ANN Thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2388064.0

10% of all mined BiblePay coins are held back each month and donated to Charities that are 75% or more efficient
https://www.biblepay.org/charities/

Funding of charities is performed by masternode owners, they vote each month on what proposals submitted by the community to fund:

Does anyone know why BBP is not working??? The youngest BBP in my wallet has 57 confirmations:
Code:
"Command": "totalrac",
"Total RAC": 410261.11,
"UTXO Target": 9025744.42,
"StakeBalance": 821520,
"Note": "You have less stake balance available than needed for the PODC UTXO Target. Coins must be more than 5 confirmations deep to count. See coin control.",
"Threshhold to receive 10% rewards (below this UTXO Amount rewards are lost)": 328208.89,
"Stake Level Required For 10% Level": 336414.11,
"Stake Level Required For 20% Level": 820522.22,
"Stake Level Required For 30% Level": 1641044.44,
"Stake Level Required For 40% Level": 2461566.66,
"Stake Level Required For 50% Level": 3282088.88,
"Stake Level Required For 60% Level": 4102611.1,
"Stake Level Required For 70% Level": 4923133.32,
"Stake Level Required For 80% Level": 5743655.54,
"Stake Level Required For 90% Level": 6564177.76,
"Stake Level Required For 100% Level": 7384699.98,
"Total Team RAC": 14144674
Clearly the "Note" is wrong: 821,520 > 820,522
Target in the note is 100% which requires 7384699.98
Thanks for clarifying the ambiguous wording.
But, that does not explain why I do NOT get paid any BBP???

please dont make some upgrades over xmas like last year Smiley it was neverending compiling and deploying marathon Smiley

In worst case just switch over CPU power to another coin and keep MN running only :-) thats my emergency plan.

Which coins do you mine?
Are there any profitable CPU-only coins these days ?

Hey Rob, Were you able to get an End of Year Statement from Compassion?
Id love to get it posted in our Bitcointalk Investigation thread:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5030640.0

I have a report from Compassion, they did give us an up to month (sort of in the end-of-year format) but the woman said something like
Dont bother us again - we wont do it for you again - but I thought, wait a minute, the web site is broken because we have too many childrens records in it,
so we have a right to ask again LOL, but Ill talk about this more later.  Ill also provide the link for this report.

EDIT: Is this it?
http://pool.biblepay.org/SAN/Expenses/BiblePay_audit_2018.pdf

Darn, its kind of hard for me to understand it, hmmm

Other References:
https://forum.biblepay.org/index.php?topic=284.msg4569#msg4569

Yeah, this is the one they gave me, http://pool.biblepay.org/SAN/Expenses/BiblePay_audit_2018.pdf, in response to the audit questions.  And the ciqueue service rep said something like "and don't ask for one again as we will not provide you one again" and I thought, hmm thats not right, because we can't even click on our history right now from the web (we have too many records for their server to handle).  So Ill push to ask for one every year.  Anyway, it looks like a good resource, so please use it.

EDIT:  We can also explain to Theymos that it matches our exec theymos to the penny also.

I tried to copy the data from the PDF but I get symbols,
I tried to use a program to extract the data tables to excel but also get symbols hmmm,
Is there an excel file this PDF is based upon?

Anyways, I went through manually and picked out and summed the Payments,
Does this look correct?

=

Just refreshing everyone, my goal is to get us Bitcointalk Forum advertising, this was Theymos's last response to us (he is head Forum admin of Bitcointalk):
Quote from: theymos
I'd probably only be comfortable with BiblePay if a lot more info, news, and third-party reviews of your practices come out.
As-is, I'm not particularly convinced by your responses to my previous concerns (though admittedly I don't have time to spend more than a few minutes looking at it),
and I see a lot of red flags. If I was convinced that BiblePay was like "Litecoin with a bible theme and a donation thing", then I'd probably allow it.

TRIPLE DIPPING with BYTEBALL ended: 10x times less rewards from 24th .... the best time to jump into POG  hooooray

BYTEBALL bye bye

Where did you see that BYTEBALL dipping ended ?

Bottom right "CHAT" button of of the Byteball Wallet in the "WCG distribution" section:

Quote
Dear WCG cruncher,

First of all we want to wish you Happy Holidays with your friends and family!

Last time we wrote you about diminishing returns for more than 40 connected devices. This measure alone has proven to be ineffective. Unfortunately we are going to have to change the rules a second time.

Again, WCG rewards are meant for new users to be able to discover Byteball by donating some spare CPU power to a good cause, not to make money.

For now we are going to reduce the reward to $1 per 1,000,000 WCG points earned, effective from Monday December 24 on. This way the method will still work like a faucet but it will be much harder to make a profit, which was never intended. We’ll monitor what this change does and make further changes when necessary.

Happy crunching Smiley

The Byteball Team

Hey mattcwu, Pretty sure they ran away with the money (exit scammed),
I sadly do not think they are coming back, many users lost a lot of money,

hopefully we can all use this as a lesson "Not your Keys, Not your Coins",
only keep coins on an Exchange that you are willing to lose, you never know when an Exchange will disappear or get hacked

I hope more people start building, supporting and using decentralized exchanges
