1  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam accusation against Sesterce (formally Bitech Group) on: November 07, 2019, 07:51:39 PM
Hi,

When I checked out sesterce on bitcoin talk a few people said they had received their items for orders before June of this year.
Some of them stated that they were slow but got there in the end.
I ordered an obelisk from them and waited.
They sent an email saying the batch had been cancelled by obelisk.
They have offered 50% of cloud mining as compensation which I rejected.
I have sent numerous emails and got BS stating they were waiting for obelisk to refund them.
I have spoken to obelisk and sesterce have had the money back from them.
I have sent more emails to sesterce and got no response.

As far as I am concerned they are a bunch of scammers and I am trying to get the other affected victims to take out a class action law suit against them in France as it is better to do it at their European address as their courts are better than China.

Thanks

Also the prices on there are to good to be true.
Always a dead give away.
Antminer z11 in stock (sold out everywhere) and cheaper than they were on the original bitmain site at $995.
3  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitmainstech scam emails claiming to to BitmainTech on: June 06, 2019, 08:27:14 PM
Having been a genuine Bitmain customer I am concerned about their data security.
I have been getting spam emails from bitmainstech trying to spoof me into sending btc only for the latest s17 antminer.
...
Bitmain was hacked (at least once) a while ago and the hackers got all their emails and some of the details of their clients.
This is quite well known old news.

Yes however the fresh email scam is again upon us!!!

Anybody heard of these or bought anything from them?
Saw a listing which was an advert for their site on Ebay.
They claim to have every latest miner available and are offering 20% discount with the code summer20.
Looks to good to be true.

their prices are too low  proceed at your own risk.

Exactly what I thought!!!!

I was just fishing for another opinion.

Thanks for confirming my suspicions.

Has the btc-e.nz domain been seized???
Why can you not use this one if it has not been???
When will we get our coins?Huh
You have a database with all our email addresses, send a bulk email with a new site to all members and allow us to log in with the same username and password to withdraw our coins!!
Nobody gives a shit about fiat!!!
Give us back our coins!!!

I hope it does come back!
I have traded on there for years and got stung just like the rest of you.
Maybe they will keep their word and give us back even some of our coin!!

In order to give people their coins, and possibly their fiat back, things first need to be made clear as in btc-e speaking out who is currently in control of what number of funds. If the government is in control of the majority of the total funds, then just forget about getting anything back. If btc-e still has access to a major part of the funds, while I must admit that the chances for this to be reality are on the very low side, people actually have a tiny bit of positivity to hope for. That being said, there is nothing more to lose, so we shouldn't get upset if things aren't going to play out as most people (me included) were hoping for.

Yes that would be nice to get some back!!
I hope they have the cold wallets!!!!!!!!!!

All of the money (cash) that went to btc-e went through the uk from okpay etc to Mayzus Finical Services.
This is a UK based company which means the cash passed through the UK and we now have legal recourse to take on BTC-e in UK
