If I did alpha mining, but my total will no longer increases although it looks like I am mining, what does that mean?
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🚀 [Pre-ANN] AZULIK: adding privacy to DAG fee-less instant transactions 🌟🚀 on: March 05, 2018, 06:22:05 PM
Vamos a ver que futuro tiene este proyecto, me gustaria que fuera real

We all want it to be real my friend. we all do.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [LAUNCHED][POW]⚡ELECTRONEUM⚡Official Moderated Thread on: March 05, 2018, 04:17:05 PM
Is there a official recommendation for NON-tech people to be able to transfer ETN from a paper wallet to an exchange (like a youtube video or detailed step by step instructions). I say to an exchange because there are a lot of people that only have apple phones so the android wallet is not an option.

Any help appreciated.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU mining will die in 2018! on: March 05, 2018, 03:28:39 PM
i sure hope gpu mining doesn't die as I have invested too much $$ in it and have not earned back enough to cover that cost.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My opinion about ETH on: March 05, 2018, 03:23:41 PM
Unless any coin can process more transactions per second than Visa/Mastercard, it will likely only be used for specialized situations. The world needs a coin that can process all of our transactions. ETH needs to massively scale up imo
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the maximum number of different cryptocurrencies we should invest in? on: March 05, 2018, 03:17:36 PM
Investing in a basket of cryptos is not different from stocks. None of us know with 100% certainty which coins will eventually be big, but if you do enough research into each, you can increase the probability. 10-15 coins seems like a good number.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose bounty? on: March 05, 2018, 03:14:40 PM
To me the key is determining which coins will do well....no different from investing $$ directly. i.e.

Good idea. The coin is different and adds value in some way. Not just another ERC20 coin
Whitepaper that looks legit.

I hit my echelon limit. How long does it take for you to update it to a higher level based upon our social caring posts?
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Ann][CHG] Charg Coin: The first electric vehicle charging platform just listed! on: March 03, 2018, 05:55:34 PM
This looks like a massive under taking. Good luck though as it sounds like a great project

So are you planning on building stations between cities or having individuals install charging stations at their homes?
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Airdrop][$LOK] Loki - Private Transactions & Comms on: March 03, 2018, 05:41:55 PM
So what is the purpose of the tokens?  I understand you are raising money for the development of the app but what would someone use these tokens for?
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🚀 [Pre-ANN] AZULIK: adding privacy to DAG fee-less instant transactions 🌟🚀 on: March 03, 2018, 04:29:04 PM
Any update on testnet ? Has the donation period over or are you still accepting donations ?
I am interested to donate,if everything is going as planned and I if can see some code

I believe the devs will show their code at the same time they deliver the final white paper (March 16 is what they have said). A question for all of you out there that understand open source code as I donít know the first thing about coding. If the devs post all of their code for everyone to see it couldnít someone just copy it and create a clone coin?

Anyone out there have an opinion on which coin has the best GUI for a wallet?

Any word regarding today's withdrawal?

What was the withdrawal?
15  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Question: Hashgraph on: February 17, 2018, 09:14:51 PM
Does anyone have a good understanding of the benefits / drawbacks of DAG based systems v all the hype going on around HashGraph? For example, Nano (formerly RaiBlocks) is DAG and says its infinitely scaleable. Other than the fact that the hashgraph is controlled by an private entity (which in itself makes it a non starter for me). Specifically from a scaleability, speed, or security, and privacy perspective.
This is a good article on the matter comparing scaling Blockchains and scaling DAGs.
https://medium.com/@lyaffe/scaling-a-blockchain-vs-scaling-a-tangle-8b7182eda980
DAGs have their own drawbacks with respect to DDOS and transaction propagation latency during high load periods.

Thanks. That was a very good article. However, I am not deeply skilled at the level of math or programming needed to know if there are differences between different DAG models (i.e. is there a difference and the same limitations between IOTA, Byteball, or Nano, for example). Any thoughts?
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Goodbye Blockchain. Hello Hashgraph. on: February 17, 2018, 07:31:24 PM
It seems like DAG is the outdate as well. Must looking more info in this new tech.

Why do you think DAG is outdated? I am not saying you are wrong, I am just curious as to your rationale.

1. Could you provide any update on the tech, your research, any detail?
2. The number of coins, 666, did you make it on purpose to be like that? You may know that to some people it is, so to say, unpleasant association.
3. The testnet on the April 1st? Do you say it with the grain of resposibility? So, you are basically preparing now the testnet for the launch?

The protocol is explained at high level in the front page, we are done with the research part, and we are currently working on the implementation itself, we haven't faced any particular difficulty as of now, it's on going and we do our best to be on time.
The number 666 is basically 5 times the Nano supply, yes it may be unpleasant for some people, but we are sure it's less obvious if we say the supply will be: 666,241,445 Azulik.
We will do our best to have the testnet ready asap, our main work is currently on the code as we want everything to be working on our side to share it with you by the 16th of march. It's a very short deadline, and we do our best, we work almost every evening and every weekends on it.

Personally, I like a lot of supply, but I would not use the 666mm, even if its only the first three digits. I can only imagine what some of the naysayers will say based upon the number's association in certain religions with the devil. Wouldn't it make sense just to have a nice round number, say.... 700,000,000? Or is there something about the mathematical protocol that makes that undesirable or difficult?
