181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: How much is your time worth? on: March 17, 2014, 03:36:54 PM
Oh, man, you are totally behind the understanding of Chinese. A significant increasing number of Chinese are very rich, there is no more cheap labor anymore. You'd better do some research when you write something done so that your words would be more convinced.

Garbage, fuck you.

We group dozens of people stay up all night for a night, will bring 3000

Liar, Fuck you!
垃圾,操你妈。
我们群几十号人熬夜申请了一个通宵,才领3000
操你妈!死骗子

Sounds like they did not even pay "dozens of people" to "stay up all night". They just promised them some free coins.
Communism at its best.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / How much is your time worth? on: March 17, 2014, 11:20:56 AM
166 hours of copy paste wallet address token, that is even more pathetic Grin

Let's do some math:
Today's FAC sell price 0.00000305 BTC
Multiply by 166000 = 0.5063 BTC
1 BTC about US$633
166 hours work to make 0.5063 x $633 = $320

Personally ... I wouldn't do it, unless I could figure-out an automated way of some kind.
I heard that in China, where labor is dirt cheap, they had rooms with tens of workers sitting at computers, every worker redeeming a token every hour.

All this MAY (or may not) pay off some day... we'll just have to wait and see!

184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / All those conspiracy theories out there... on: March 16, 2014, 10:23:49 PM
Dev is a genius. Creates coin, premines 0.5% (to be fair), calls coin dead and corrupt, everyone dumps on him at 100 satoshi (so he can buy his own coin at a cheap price), resurrects coin, now he's a rich motherfkca

I think we should now start collecting, cataloging, and indexing all conspiracy theories in one reference book.
"The FairTheories".
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / The mystery of the disappearing 1 Million "UnFair"Coins on: March 16, 2014, 05:10:14 PM
The guy is just like a 4-yr-old boy, keeping crying for his lost icecream, whatever someone else explained clearly to him.

Well... in his defense, a million coins is a lot of coins to lose, just like that.
If it's any consolation to NJRiot, let's do some math:
Someone wrote that FAC today is trading for 0.000004 BTC on NXT-e
Multiply that by 1 Million
That's equal 4 BTC
Today, 1 BTC is about US$633
So, NJRiot, you lost $633 x 4 = $2532
Sure... it's a lot of money... one month's salary for many people. But it does not make you rich by any means.
AND ... it was money you were not supposed to have received in first place.

Wait until FAC catches-up to LTC and starts to sell for US$20 each or more, then bash your head against a concrete wall for not having backed-up or exported your wallet when it had 1 Mill coins in it.
And after you injure your head on that wall, sit and lick your wounds.

Do not torment yourself, forget it ever happened, and move-on.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: The mystery of the disappearing 1 Million "UnFair"Coins on: March 16, 2014, 04:38:01 PM
Me? Apart of dev team? LOL
I'm just some poor slob from California.

There goes my newest conspiracy theory, blown out of the water... POOF, GONE, just like that.

No problem, I will come-up with some more today or tomorrow.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / The mystery of the disappearing 1 Million "UnFair"Coins on: March 16, 2014, 03:53:31 PM
ha ha very funny, that was a gift 2 days ago from someone on the forum ...
you can ask him  that's the guy who sent them to me ...  kidyubyub
LETS HEAR YOUR SIDE OF THE STORY?
TELL US WHAT HAPPENED?

NJRiot,
1. Please allow me to tell you what I - personally - think about this:
First of all, for kidyubyub to send you a gift of 2K FACs, that's kind and generous. On behalf of everyone, I thank kidyubyub for showing support and compassion to another FAC user. New conspiracy theory: kidyubyub  is a DEV team member trying to buy NJRiot's silence and make him go away.
2. You, receiving 1 Million coins upon downloading and activating your wallet, I can believe you, you have no reason to fabricate such an outlandish lie. But, IT WAS A MISTAKE, it was not supposed to happen. A glitch in the system (I do not know what an "orphan block" means... whoever wrote that, please explain). And it was immediatey corrected and the coins taken away from you.
3. You asking DEV to tell his side of the story... NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. He/they will NEVER admit it happened (go back and read my conspiracy theories).
4. You getting back those 1 Million FACs... NOT GOING TO HAPPEN
5. Without solid irrefutable evidence you really had 1 Million FACs in your wallet, it's your word against everyone who does not believe you's word.
6. It is too bad you:
   - Tried to redeem one token after you found 1 Mil coins in your wallet, it looks - to me at least - like (I am just guessing) that's what triggered the disappearance of the Million coins
   - did not backup or export your wallet immediately after you found 1 Mil coins in it. But then again, you probably are not familiar with how this works, so no-one can blame you for that oversight.

And on that note, I get up, and walk away from my computer, to go eat breakfast, on that gloomy, rainy Sunday.

Wow! You must be very bored if you don't have better things to do than fabricating stories like this. No offense.  Tongue

No Offense taken. I am retired, plenty of free time.

What will Lilly do for Faircoin? Well, she is trying to attract some attention to this boring thread, and create some controversy, while entertaining you all. BTW, her twin sister, Park Nima, is on Facebook and will launch her web site soon. Send her a message on FB offering her some free FACs.

Someone PM'd me, asking for advice, here's what I told him:
If you received FREE FAC, I suggest you hold and wait.
If you do NOT have any, try to buy some for as little as possible.
If you have already paid to buy some, Good luck. It is anyone's guess what will happen next.

My advice is as good as anyone else's at this time of uncertainty. I do not wish for FAC to die, but if it does, I don't care.
I was one of the 15K who got stiffed.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / MORE Conspiracy theories (2) on: March 15, 2014, 04:57:07 PM
Lilly

WTS 1 million faircoins (our altcoin group combined all their coins together) for 2.9 BTC.
Will use escrow of your choice. Serious offer. PM me.

So, it looks like FaircoinExchange has "pooled their coins together" to come-up with 1 Million to sell and they hope to get 2.9 BTC for them.

I am not sure I can say the above is the only thing true in this post.
The "pooling together" of "our coins" seems a bit far-fetched to me.
What I know for sure is that everything else below is made-up, fabricated and imagined: do not believe any of it.

To Fraxinus: thank you for the compliment, this installment of my made-up theories goes out to you... enjoy reading.
To DailyModo: your attack is totaly irrelevant, what difference does it make if those who got stiffed were 15000 or only 2000?

And so, here I go...

It's a nice quiet Saturday morning... I am sitting at my computer, with a cup of hot Earl Grey tea, and a QQ chat windows open. It is 8 AM my time, 9 PM Lilly's time in SZ.
We are both wearing our Model ANT-S1 of the Proudly-Made-in-China tinfoil hats.
This particular model uses a secret QQ channel - operating on TCP port 8888 (the number 8 has a special significance in Chinese culture) - to channel our thoughts in both directions, so we read each other's mind as we chat.

Me: Ni Hao Lilly...
Lilly (in her Chinese-accented English): yeah yeah yeah, Ni hao is all the Chinese you know, you lazy old fart. When are you going to learn more words?
Me: Not going to happen... too old for that. Mandarin is the most difficult language in the world, Cantonese (which you speak at home with your family) is even more difficult. But anyway, what's your latest conspiracy theory?
Lilly: I have a lot to talk about tonight. But first, I could not help but notice that the "DEV" guy commented on your last post with only a "LOL", which is actually a smart way to dismiss everything, without denying any of it. We now know he is NOT Chinese, he is a Dutch national by the name of Eelco Fortuijn.
Me: Yeah, you mentioned that name last time, are you sure he is the DEV guy who posts occasionally on this thread?
Lilly: No, that intel is not confirmed yet. I have asked my Chinese undercover agentsfriends on the ground in Amsterdam to look into that. If it is not Eelco himself, then maybe he is  an acquaintance, a business associate, a friend, or simply someone who stole Eleco's idea for "Fair"coin. All we know for sure now is that Eelco came-up with the "Fair"coin concept in the second half of 2009...
I interrupted Lilly: 2009? All the way back then? Isn't that also the year Bitcoin was launched?
Lilly: yes, and it is an intriguing coincidence, that I am investigating. Maybe it's just a coincidence, or maybe there's more to it.

Back in 2009, Eelco lived at - or was associated with - the following address:
Overtoom 455-3
Amsterdam, 1054 KH
I have asked two of my agentsfriends to go to that address, sniff around, knock on doors, talk to people.

Other than that, my latest theory is about the mystery of the Million coin automatic deposits. The DEV guy says:
"There is no one with a million coins", which I think is a lie.
We know - for sure - that NJRiot received a Million coins as soon as he downloaded and activated his wallet and he says he was one of the first 10 at the public launch. Either NJRiot is lying, or Eleco is... NJRiot has no motive to lie, Eelco has.
Only a few hours after DEV declared no-one has a Million coins, FaircoinExchange posts a FOR SALE sign for 1 Mil FACs up for grabs, for "only" 2.9 BTC. At today's BTC price, that's almost US$2000... Good luck un-loading 1 Million worthless coins for 2000 Greenbacks. But then again... it may very well happen.

But anyway, back to my new conspipracy theory:
The actual amount of pre-mined FACs was higher than 50 Mil. We do not know for sure how much, maybe 60, maybe 80, maybe even a hundred. And I do not have enough technical knowledge (look at block chains or what have you) to know if there's a way to find-out for sure. But - just for the sake of this theory - let's say 60 Mil.
Eelco had written a script (or otherwise programmed his back-end system) to completely automate the distribution process: just by running the script. every new wallet activated would receive 1 Mil coins (maximum 10 wallets) PRE-launch; and then 1000 coins for every new wallet activated POST-launch (maximum 50000 wallets).
But then, something went wrong... the script continued to deposit 1 Million coins per wallet POST-launch. This - obviously - was NOT supposed to happen.
Panicking, Eleco and his co-conspirators stopped the automated distribution immediately, but not until 15 lucky wallet holders (the very first 15 at launch) had received 1 Mil each (NJRiot was one of them). NJRiot - being the greedy guy that he is - wanted 1000 more, so he redeemed his token and got the 1 Mil taken away from him. The other 14 kept silent and - todate - have the 1 Mil coins in their wallets.
Eelco corrected the problem, and continued the distribution manually, except now he had only 35 Mil to distribue, instead of 50, so 15000 people had to be cut-off.
"Oops, our wallet got corrupted"... he had to say to silence the 15000 who left the launch party with their loot bags empty. I think the "corrupted wallet" is just an all-encompassing excuse for a technical problem he - and his team - are now having (the novice amateur programmers that they are), and they do not know how to fix it.

(Moment of Silence).

Me: WOW Lilly, that's an interesting theory. I know you have a wild imagination, but this makes some sense.

Lilly drew a last puff from her joint and - after few seconds of silence - continued to talk:
Angrily: I noticed that you mentioned my pink panties in your last post, how dare you?
Me: I am sorry about that. I will not do it again. What color are you wearing tonight?
Lilly: I am not telling you. She briefly parted her legs and showed me snow white panties.
Me: maranello1561 wants to see pictures of you.
Lilly: You  know I am only a figment of your imagination. I forbid you from publishing any pictures of me.
Me: How about I publish a couple of pictures of your twin sister PARK Nima, and say it's you?
Lilly: Yeah OK, after all, we look exactly the same. She now lives in South Korea, you know that.
Me: Yeah I know, and she's launching her own web site soon.
Lilly: I do not care what she does with her own personal life. Good luck to her.
I go sleep, good night.

And on that note, Lilly stood up and turned off her webcam.

WAIT ... SO DEV !
are you going on the record here saying that my wallet NEVER/DID NOT receive 1 million coins at launch and after registering the code the coins disappeared?

Hey NJRiot,
Have you already tried to search for that transaction in BlockExplorer?
If not, go to http://162.243.224.140:1080/ and enter your wallet address (the one you received the 1 Mil coins on) and see if the transaction is found.
Please let me/us know.
TKS.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / MORE Conspiracy theories on: March 14, 2014, 05:03:55 AM
I was here at launch
1. received 1million coins soon as I downloaded wallet
2. I had to take my code and register it
3. after doing that the coins disappeared

After distributing 1000 FREE coins to each of 35K "lucky" people, the incompetent amateurs known as "DEV" declared their wallet "corrupt" and left 15K people holding the bag. An empty bag they brought to the launch party hoping to fill it with free "fair"coins.

The above is the only thing true in this post. Everything else below is made-up, fabricated and imagined: do not believe any of it.

As I sat at my computer, staring at my QQ chat window, displaying the webcam video of my business contact in SZ (her name is Lilly), she took a long puff of her cannabis joint, adjusted her tinfoil hat, pushed away a strand of her long thick black hair, and started to talk in her Chinese-accented English.

"So...
I have spent the day gathering intel.
I went back and read the whole thread from the beginning, all 126 pages.
I did some research on the internet and talked to Chinese friends who live and work in Spain and Holland.
It looks like the "DEV" team is a group of math geniuses, headed by someone by the name of Eelco Fortuijn.
About 11 years ago, Eelco founded a non-profit organization called "Fair"food International.

"Fair"food is an international non-profit organisation. Our mission is to improve the socio-economic conditions of vulnerable people in the global food system and the sustainable use of natural resources.

From securing "fair"food to "vulnerable people in the global food system" came the idea of distributing "fair"coins to vulnerable bitcoin-less people in the global cryptocurrency system

But Eelco also wanted to get rich... filthy rich.

He has been following bitcoin and cryptocurrency for years and finally, in January 2014, when his master plan was ready, he went to Privacy Protection Service INC (based in Ausralia) to register the web site fair-coin.info as an anonymous entity. After all, we don't anyone to know his real identity.

He announced to the world 50 Million "Fair"coins would be distributed "fairly" to 50K people. Each would have a fair chance of getting 1000 Free coins.

Before the public launch, Eelco spent some time creating tens of private wallets. He programmed his "Fair"coin system to automatically deposit 1 Million coins upon the creation of a new wallet. This automatic deposit would have to be stopped AFTER tens of private wallets would have been created - and belonged - to him, his friends, relatives, and team members; and immediately BEFORE the launch to the public.
Alas, we now know that at least one guy - who came forward and announced it  to the whole world - received the automatic deposit upon the creation of his wallet. This was not supposed to happen.

Eelco's master plan was under way and people - around the world - started to download the Faircoin-QT wallet. But Eelco had anticipated the one major obstacle to him getting VERY wealthy.
HOW TO CREATE DEMAND FOR THE WORTHLESS COIN, SO THAT - WHEN IT HITS THE EXCHANGES - PEOPLE WILL JUMP FEVERISHLY ON IT TRYING TO BUY IT, and drive its price up?

Ahh... simple, we'll stop distribution at the 35K mark (Oops, our wallet got corrupted), and leave 15K people wanting. They will be so wanting of the free worthless coin that they would be willing to pay good money for it as soon as the original 35K people start selling. We - Million Coin wallet holders - we just sit back and watch it all unfold, as the controversy and the demand drives the price up. At the opportune moment - maybe after one or two years - we cash-in on our wealth.

Bunch of incompetent amateurs my ass... they - or rather he - is a master of deception."

As Lilly took one last puff of her joint, I continued to stare - with a stunned look - at her beautiful face.
"You've just made all that up, didn't you?" said I.
"Take it or leave it, you don't have to believe me, do your own research. It's getting late, I will go sleep." Said she.
And - like she does every day - she got up -purposely showing me a glimpse of her pink panties - and turned off her webcam.

WTS 350,000 FAC (seriously, ~1% of the total supply)
PM offers, top offer takes it.

I am NOT Chinese.
I have visited Shenzhen (Silicon Valley of China) 3 times between May 2011 and February 2013.
I used to buy cell phones and related accessories from Shenzhen for resale in the USA and Europe.
I used to have a Chinese girlfriend in Shanghai and still have business contacts in Shenzhen (SZ).
Most small businesses in China have NO morality or integrity. Cheating, lying and cutting corners is an accepted business practice that shows you are smarter than your competitors. Industrial espionage is sanctioned - and encouraged - at the highest levels of the Communist Party.

The above is the only thing true and verifiable in this post.
Everything else below is only rumors, do not believe any of it.

I chat daily (on QQ) with my business contact in SZ, she's quite attractive and I am (still) trying to seduce her.
She tells me the bunch of incompetent amateurs who call themselves DEV are either Chinese or have strong Chinese connections.
The story of "our wallet got corrupted" is all a bunch of BS. Do you really believe that?
The first 35K who actually got their shares of the"Fair"coin are mostly Chinese.
DEV decided to cut-off the remaining 15K because they are mostly American and Israeli wallets. So the goal is to keep control of the "Fair"coin in Chinese hands.
They can tell from the IP addresses. Even if someone used multiple IP addresses to generate several tokens, they all can be tracked to a region/country.
The Chinese are now starting to dump "Fair"coin, in chunks of hundreds of thousands (see the quote at the top of this post).
The reason?
Talks with Chinese exchanges to get "Faircoin" listed are faltering.
The Chinese are betting FAC will die soon, especially when miners stop mining because they are not seeing any "fair" reward for dedicating their resources to a - what is so far - nothing more than a vaporcoin.
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / I will buy some vaporcoin on: March 12, 2014, 08:28:08 PM
Serious offer, I am a trusted seller on eBay with 100% feedback (look me up)
Will buy 1000 FairVaporcoins for 0.01 BTC.
Will buy up to 100K FACs
BTC sent after I receive FAC and transaction confirmed.
