I fruitful advise to all,
You need to sell your bitcoins now. This is because the btc is about to correct its price.
Dont wait for 8000 usd price btc will not reach that price yet.
After price correction, buy btc again.
BTC Price at coinmarketcap = 7,126.02 USD / BTC
You are dumb you think people will listen to a random troll posting so called 'advice' to sell.I think you have a buy order at low price waiting to be filled  and you missed the chance to buy bitcoin when it was cheap.Bitcoin price can fall but no one can say for sure so don't say it with such confidence that's it's price is about to be corrected. There are many dumbs people believing everything the heard/read. Examples ? People voting for Brexit, Trump... I think there are a lot of people reading bitcointalk to make their "own" opinion, just reflecting the average number of bearish or bullish posts here. |

I think the price of bitcoin after the fork will drop a little bit less than the price of segwit2X futures.
Example : If price of BTC before fork is 7500$ dans B2X futures is 1500$, I think the BTC price will be a little bit ABOVE 6000$ after the fork.
The reason : people frightened by the fork are waiting to come in with fresh money, just after this date. (I met this kind of person at work today).

a lot of people think after the segwit2x activated the price of bitcoin will dropped to lowest down more than 30% or so from the current price , it is just a completely wild speculation .
Given the BTC/BTC2X futures at 0.2 BTC2X for 1 BTC, a price drop of 20% is logic. A drop of 30% is understandable, if we assume that bitcoin price is currently overrated. |

It's completely unbelievable that nobody speaks about the fork...
- It's almost tomorrow ! The segwit 2X fork is currently planned to happen on November 16th
- We have very few information about what will happen with this fork ?
The current and most probable scenario is :
=> The 2X blockchain will stay an alternative chain
=> The original chain will remains the main chain
=> Massive decrease of main chain hashrate due to the NYAgreement.
The massive decrease of hashrate will have a huge impact on the network. Even if it will be "repaired" after difficulty reduction, it cannot be unseen.
My questions :
- Will this uncertainty about future will be stronger than the hope of getting free money with the fork ? (if yes, price drop)
- Will whales will use this situation to FUD a lot and manipulate the price ? (for me, the answer is "yes of course").

The more bitcoin grows, the more I think we should reach a limit soon...
I never understand why the price increase so much, but everytime I expect a top, there is more later... So I changed my mind and now, I think it could reach so high level....
10 000$ before the end of the year ? yes for sure. If segwit2X drama is resolved quickly, we could see price skyrocketing

(I myself have gone back to thinking of my crypto hoard as 'magic internet unicorn money' thinking of it as REAL money is too stressful  Considering I have put real money to get my bitcoin, it would be very stressfull to think of my btcs as 'magic internet unicorn money' |

Regarding the latest news and declarations, the current bitcoin (core/legacy) will remains the real one.
But there will be lots of trouble if the hashrate of legacy blockchain really decreases. It s going to be a real jungle between FUDders and scammers, trying to get benefits from the chaos...

I can only imagine what the price is going to be 3 years from now. Post halving.
Well even if you consider the really worst case of what it could be in late 2020, I think $10-15K/btc would be the bottom. Which by all measures would still be fkn phenomenal. Outside of some black swan, I cannot envision a scenario where it would be any lower than that. Which would of course make many of us rich AF. Personally I’ve always looked at around 2021 as my get out point (75% sell off maybe). Fingers crossed guys. $10K/BTC in late 2020 ? It seems to be a worst case of the worst case, regarding the evolution of bitcoin.... $10K/BTC is expected for next year, isn't it ? |

Bitcoin could drop under 2000$ if a lot of hashpower is going to Segwit2X and bitcoin blocks are not mined anymore in an acceptable time
Then during weeks, bitcoin would become unusable and it would crash...

I just discovered this rule (no incentive to post on bitcointalk). Past few days, I have seen so many airdrops registration requiring to post/answer on this forum. Maybe I should report them Or better, I will blackmail them to give me more tokens during airdrop, for not reporting their thread ! |

I agree with the assumption :
Money have flown out the alt-coins in response of BTC fork announcements.
It's obvious that money will re-flow into altcoin after forks.
Regarding the BTCGold (BTCGPU) fork, it's not clear when it will be :
- A block number is announced, but the website is stating a different date than the one when the block is supposed to be mined.
