I don't think it's been asked before (though I only view ~1/10 pages here). Where do you suggest mining, tealover?

+1

All I read from you Tealover is accusations and claims that here the performance sucks. If you want to be taken seriously in the slightest, post numbers that prove your point. Give us data to compare, pools to try, testimonies of OTHER USERS that support your stance.

Seriously, I dont understand what you think you gain by polluting this thread. All the people who has managed to develop any mining abilities is most likely intelligent enough to understand when performance is not up to par when confronted with meaningful data.
Until you can prove your point in an intelligent way and have something helpful to add to the discussion, I kindly ask that you refrain from posting in this thread..

Hi...

Well im starting to worry myself about this pool too...
Maybe TealOver, is too direct... but it has a point... where is H20?...

Where is his replys and explanations... Surelly if i was being acused like teal is acusing him... i would defend myself and come clean to my fellow miners...
I tend to agree something fishy is cooking in the dark....

TealOver, im kinda noob on this mining stuff, any good alternative?

Also, something is way wrong with the us server today... im getting way way sparce blocks accepted... and the line is frozen... we know nothing... NOBODY tell us nothing...

Best Regards,

LPC

He's on twitter. Are you kidding me, you're asking tealover for advice?

LOL, I know right ?

And PS, if I was the pool owner, and got 3,xxx% pool fee, I would have bought a decent monitoring tool, that wakes me up in the middle of the night if something is terribly wrong.

or...or...you could go f*$k yourself and find another pool and not worry.  You are lucky he doesnt charge you a membership for all his hard work on top of the existing fees.

I would love to pay a member fee! As long as thing work smooth and the communication go's well...!

Currently I pay him about 50 dollars A DAY to do his job. Got no problem with that. But there is a lack of communication.

What is there to communicate. If it works use it. If it does not then don't. There are other alternatives out there you know.

You pay the same percentage as everyone else. Get off your high horse please. If you were expecting some ass kissing or hand holding you are in the wrong place.

ELC, MEM, NET and ALF are the main offenders at Cryptsy in terms of delays.. we just took ALF off the multiport though due to its high reject rate.. Cryptsy has been getting better, and NET seemed to come through ok overnight.. but MEM is still delayed at present

Nevermind, I see that others are having the same issues. Wink

NET and MEM coin withdrawals are not going through to Crapsy. I made two transfers of each coin last night and nothing has shown up.

Yes, I did use the correct addresses and checked them multiple times.

I have had it hooked up and it just seems to hang right before it attempts to join a pool. No pool info or anything is displayed. It just gets to the part where it displays my local IP,s and does not add the pool IP info. Whereas when I join a pool that I can join it just connects no problem.

Please post/PM the log.

Another thing I have noticed is that when I tried to join one today it kept adding my user name to the end of the server URL in the web interface after I would hit the set pools button.

Can you show exactly what's happening ? The firmware does not do anything with the URL, so I have no idea what's going on.

Sure. Where would I find the log ?

Here is a screen shot of the problem with my user name being added to the URL after I submit.

I am having some issues with only being able to connect my miners to a few servers. For some reason they will not connect to certain servers. Such as multipools, ispace and others.

They probably use unsupported stratum commands. If you hook up USB debug cable, the firmware should tell you if it receives something it doesn't understand. Depending on what it is, I may be able to add it.

It would have been nice if the most widely used bitcoin mining protocol had a specification...

This is kind of annoying as I really want to mine some alt coins but I cannot join the servers that I would like to.

I can connect to BTCGuild and lukes.

Anyone else ever have issues with not being able to connect ?

I have updated to the latest firmware with no improvement.

Is this the only interface that we can use to control our miners or is there a way to use something else ?
