550 re-test coming for sure?

Will it hold?

So many questions, so little fud

exactly. no FUD and we are heading down fast with no support.

kinda worrysome.

Yep, it'll head down to xxx and then once the auction is over and people lose memory of the event, it'll head right back up to xxx and then some.
People should know the drill by now.
222  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 25, 2014, 09:20:40 AM
Does anyone actually think that Barry and co. are gonna let the unkowns (dumpers) walk off with these coins without a fight?

This auction will turn out to be a 30k coin pump, mark my words.
223  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC drop to next level coming...bail the F out now! on: June 25, 2014, 09:15:18 AM
People and their charts - as if the Bitcoin market can be predicted.  Charts are irrelevant in the face of an in-progress or upcoming "crises".

Once the auction is done, the price will resume normal rise / plateau / rise / plateau pattern.
224  Economy / Speculation / Re: Thinking about Selling on: June 25, 2014, 09:03:40 AM
These threads.  Roll Eyes

The current "crises" is the SR coin auction.  Every single one of you bears know full well that bitcoin will recover after this auction is done.

no, it won't, The Bitcoin bubble bursted, after 20%-40% off discount auction, all coins will be dumpped, we are now going back to $4xx and $3xx, say GOODBYE to $600

they look similar? Fear + Capitulation + Despair are coming!!!

226  Economy / Economics / Re: What made Bitcoin rise last time? (December) And can we get it back up? on: June 25, 2014, 08:39:24 AM
China was introduced to the world of Bitcoin and it was a match made in heaven....for a bit - pun intended.  Those days are long over, thank goodness.

Bitcoin needs stability and liquidity at a modest price, nothing more nothing less.  It'll eventually make its way back up to 4 digits and then some once more market players throw their hat into ring due to infrastructure / services specializations.

Wow I just got these modified kernels for sph_sgminer with 14.6 RC2 I am getting
7.7Mhs combined on X11 with a 280x+7950 which did only 6.1Mhs combined using
14.4 and default kernels in sph_sgminer.
7950 now 3.6 MHs, 280x now 4.1 Mhs.
Rename your x11mod.cl just in case you want to revert to old version.  Ditto for x13mod.cl.
Delete .bin files and restart sgminer ...

http://puu.sh/9Bkmt/c7f933e297.7z

The bigger question is does changing core/mem on cards work with 14.6 RC2?
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [POOL][Scrypt][Scrypt-N] Profit switching pool - wafflepool.com on: June 23, 2014, 04:49:46 PM
waffle, please respond:

this is what you put on wafflepool.com:
Sorry for the stats hiccup and delay in payouts, everything should be corrected/paid at this point. About 10 minutes of shares were lost, the rest are credited.

But so far my hash rates and earnings havent changed for hours...

Are you recording in background shares/ hashrate history since your pool is open for connections.
If not , i m going to loose a lot (since i have many rigs pointed to your pool)...
hope your professional attitude proven in the past, will not allow people to lose money with you.

BR

Stuff happens.  The devs of GUE forked the coin out from under everyone.  Not Wafflepool's fault or anyone's for that matter.

Welcome to Crypto - there is no FDIC.

Oh rejection Rate also skyrocketing, somethings wrong maybe  Huh

My reject rate is unchanged on all my rigs.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [POOL][Scrypt][Scrypt-N] Profit switching pool - wafflepool.com on: June 23, 2014, 01:38:45 PM
It is dead for last 3 hours? I only used waffleppol. cannot change my pool details till tomorrow. I am hoping they will fix the thing fast.

The front-end going down doesn't always mean the back-end has gone down.  We are/were definitely mining (something) because my miners have been up and submitting shares to new blocks now and hours ago.

The only question is what exactly are we mining!
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [POOL][Scrypt][Scrypt-N] Profit switching pool - wafflepool.com on: June 23, 2014, 12:28:03 PM
Frontend/stats still seems down for me with my rigs showing dead or not showing at all and my unconverted/earned now static for hours, but my rigs keep hashing away.  Hoping his is only a display issue and we're not stuck mining a dead fork of guerrillacoin.

Given the constant appearing / disappearing of unconverted.. you may be on to something with that dead fork notion...
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [POOL][Scrypt][Scrypt-N] Profit switching pool - wafflepool.com on: June 23, 2014, 12:19:58 PM
Yep, i just "lost" a whole bunch of earned / unconverted.   It's back!  Grin

233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [POOL][Scrypt][Scrypt-N] Profit switching pool - wafflepool.com on: June 23, 2014, 12:03:29 PM
Since you love to panic, let me just post this announcement from coinking Tongue

GuerillaCoin mining has ended. Posted By COINKING on 2014-06-23 00:56:53
GuerillaCoin has entered it's Proof-of-Stake stage and is no longer mineable as of block #6000

i think this is true

Guerillacoin is no longer available for mining @TMB pool

could be that something is wrong with waffle X11 port  Sad

cheers
B.

Front-end stats are very suspect right now so i highly doubt we're actually on guerillacoin...unless guerillacoin's PoS implementation is broken and we're actually mining past block 6k  Cheesy

Something is definitely borked on your end, Dedres.

You do have a tunnel for your miner through any sort of firewall you're running?
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] sgminer with X11/X13/Nist5/Quark/Anime kernels compatible 14.6 amd drivers on: June 23, 2014, 11:39:24 AM
DedRes: when you make your worker, you don't retype your username in, right?

If you retype your username in, you'll end up with a workername that looks like this: workername.workername.xyz.  It's a common mistake.

Yep, I checked that. No double names. I actually even checked some P2P pools and drk.ghash.io where the worker is created automatically.
No luck.
Perhaps you can give me some server:port and worker which is 100% OK and I'll test it. I'm pretty sure there will be the same picture, but it worth a try.

Thanks

Ok:  Here is my wafflepool server config.  Mining on it right now

Code:
-o stratum+tcp://useast.wafflepool.com:3331 -u 1Et8Ma3KcwoSmRogLtWgNo7oGv83mrK6T4 -p d=0.02

Prolly not fixed, but i definitely don't mind it being "stuck" on guerrillacoin....

Profitably broken - in a good way  Grin

Are you all here such a f* snobs?
Asked a question but nobody bothers to drop a word for it.

? what was the question again ?

running 280x at 4.2 with this release, linux. I can answer linux related stuff, but not windows.

It got buried couple pages back, i brought it back above your post.

Hi, guys.
Hi
I'm a newbie in mining and I'd highly appreciate some help with the sgminer on win7
For some reason I'm unable to get connected to any pool (I tried several).
Drivers are 14.6

And here's how it runs:

D:\ISR\sgminer_14.6_fixed\kernel>setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
SUCCESS: Specified value was saved.
D:\ISR\sgminer_14.6_fixed\kernel>setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
SUCCESS: Specified value was saved.
D:\ISR\sgminer_14.6_fixed\kernel>
D:\ISR\sgminer_14.6_fixed\kernel>..\sgminer.exe --kernel x11mod -g 1 -w 128 -I 18 -o stratum+tcp://west01.us.trademybit.com:4440 -u xxxxxx.1 -p x --no-submit-stale --verbose

For posterity, here was the post that contained the question.

You did update to the "fixed" SGMiner that the OP updated to, right?

It would appear that your miner is connecting just fine to the actual pool (as it is waiting for work to be available), and by extension your worker (maybe).. but dying because no work was found.  As such, i would rule out a config error wrt to the hardware.  You did do your workers on the pool(s) right, right?

I can also confirm that the openCL file copy method works on 14.4 / 13.12 with 290s and 270s.  Just deleted old bins and extra hash is there.

Here is a shot of the AMD openCL files i pulled:

Edit: I am noticing 13.12 rigs are slower than the 14.4 / 14.6 rigs (maybe).  May need minimum 14.4 to make this work.  Testing now...  No difference with 13.12 vs 14.4/14.6 with same settings.
