8162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin CASH vs Ethereum on: September 08, 2017, 07:25:46 AM
I have no idea about markets so I will answer as off-topic or whatever.

Ethereum has many practical uses while bitcoin cash is merely famous because of bitcoin. So I will go with eth.

There is an airdrop for Morning Star coin coming up. They haven't announced when it will start. They just started a social media bounty though. Below is the link for Ann thread

This coin actually interested me, let's see how it goes.

As you can see in image that I have posted two replies back to back and sometimes that can be considered as spam.

So my suggestion is that why not merge replies when same user replies back to back. I think that would be really simple to do and would be effective.

What are your thoughts?

Maybe move this (lower left) to the New Software section.  Smiley

I have no power sir Sad

You do, using the control at the lower left that says "Move Thread"  Smiley

Ah got it, thank you very much.

8169  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Claiming Bitcoin Cash From Mycelium Wallet on: September 07, 2017, 03:51:24 AM
Thanks, yes, using Coinomi now and had no problem.
The thing is I have another electrum wallet and would also like to import it to Coinomi using its seed. But can Coinomi have two seeds? I know it can have one or more wallets of each cryptocurrency, but wondering if any way that doesn't entail the "sweep" process I could get the second electrum wallet imported?
You probably won't be able to import an Electrum wallet into Coinomi using the seed. Electrum does not use the BIP39 standard for it's seed generation. Even though it uses the same wordlists, it is calculating checksums and things differently... so if you import an Electrum seed into a BIP39 wallet, it will either show as invalid, or it will most likely generate a different wallet/addresses.

You will need to export the private keys from the addresses, and sweep those private keys.

Also, Coinomi uses ONE seed for ALL the different cryptocurrency wallets that it contains. You cannot have multiple seeds in one coinomi wallet.

Sorry for late reply, why there is no separate tab for keeping track of replies here?
Try clicking the "Watchlist" link in the top left corner Wink

If posts aren't being added to your watchlist... goto your profile and click the "Notifications and Email" link on the left... tick the top box that says "Automatically watch topics after replying to them." and then click "save settings"

Thanks much, btw I loved your status, so witty 😂

Hi I am trying to recover BCC from Mycelium using Electron Cash in a PC (don't want another smartphone application like Coinomi).
The thing is, I introduced the Mycelium SEED into Electron Cash but balances showing in BCH not correct. Some in another thread says I have to SWEEP my Mycelium private key in Electron Cash.

I have the 12 word seed from mycelium but no idea how to get the private key to be able to do sweep with electron cash. Anyone knows how to get the private key (not the 12 word seed) from a Mycelium Wallet?

I request you to not to make simple things complicated and install Coinomi. If you come across any problem let me know.

8172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [AIRDROP-ICO] www.PR.Network – Incentivized Real-Time Reputation Network on: September 05, 2017, 12:51:51 AM
Recently we’ve been working silently in the background. A lot of stuff keep us occupied and we’ve been extremely busy closing the priorities with as minimum delays as possible. Unfortunately, we can't avoid some delays. Today we would like to share only one critical news but there are many more yet to come.

As per the commitment - Today we’ve distributed the first Airdrop batch to all qualified PRN Early Bird Members that have attached the ETH address to PRN Accounts.

In order to see your Airdrop add a custom token to your wallet: Smart Contract Address: 0xf5056ed34e0c233f5a37b830533610a853296388. Name: PRN, Decimals: 18

To qualify in the 1st Airdrop distribution members were required to have at least 20 Balanced Votes.

During the review process we’ve found out the below:
-    Out of 299 Early Bird Adopters: 113 didn’t have any balanced votes (BVs) This is primarily due to members have used (+) or (-) votes only, which the script cut at the end of the cycle due to the imbalance.
-   186 members have a total at least 2 balanced Votes.
-   Only 64 Members have a total at least 20 balanced Votes.
-   Out of 64 members that qualified only 43 had Etherum Address attached.

See below for more details:

As initially communicated All Early Adopters are the foundation of the Public Reputation Network. Users from the 1st till 12.000th will be rewarded with PRN Token. (PRN Token will be swapped to a final token as soon as it's completed) The first levels of adopters will be rewarded with the highest Airdrop. There is actually a total of 70% of the EarlyBird Airdrop planned to be distributed the first 1200 founders.

If you've missed the allocation now, don't worry, because you will not lose it as long as you are a member who gets qualified at some point. (we will make a deadline though) E.g.: Lvl 1 Adopters who received only 1000 PRN today still can get the remaining 4000 PRN as long as they achieve 100 BVs. Unused Airdrop will be allocated to PRN Community donations. Note: Next allocations we happen after the ICO, directly at the PR.Network.

Please understand that in the next couple of weeks we will still not be making too much noise about the project but when the right moment comes you will be the first ones to know about it and soon after that we will launch the rocket that will revolutionize the public polling with our reliable, fun an incentivized blockchain based alternative!

So it requires 20 BV to qualify the airdrop ? Omg this is hard

I came in a little late.  I created an account, verified in Facebook.  Also, took some of the surveys when they offered it that got me some extra votes. I always voted; but I have never created a single card.  I'm at level 4 with 20+ and 20- votes.  I got 2000 PRN in airdrop (verified).

Like the Louisiana politician, Huey Long said.....Vote early and vote often....This will do....Creating cards is probably better.

You got PRN coins, how?

They are not currently showing in PR.NETWORK, they are in your etherium wallet.  In PR.NETWORK under SETTINGS, there is a place to put your etherium account number (0x...).  I had never used ether before, so I created a web wallet at www.myetherwallet.com.  Once you create a wallet and save off password and UTC file, you can go to "Send Ether and Token" tab; select Keystore file (UTC) and select the UTC file you saved off and put in your password.  Click Add Custom Token and enter 0xf5056ed34e0c233f5a37b830533610a853296388. Name: PRN, Decimals: 18.  Then, the PRN token show up.  Magic!

Thank you very much. I added the token, I have 0. Guess they just haven't sent me any Sad

who will explain what is a signature campaign excatly ? how i can join ? how much i earn weekly/ monthly ? do i have to pay something first ? so on . .

Most of the Signature Campaigns not allow Newbie and Jr. Member accounts.  SO try to increase your member level by participating in this forum with more activity.

Yeah I really gotta Post more

That's my problem also. It feels like I been on this forum forever and I still have full member ranking. I get sidetracked reading and forget to comment. I am interested more in learning so I forget to contribute to the discussions. After I feel like I read everything that interests me, then I start posting and that doesn't help my score. I should be more consistent.

You should post once or twice daily.

When I posted like 1-2 posts a day I got 42 activity easily but when I did like 10 posts in a day, it didnt influenced much.

8176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is instant way to get rich ? on: September 04, 2017, 12:49:19 AM
First it depends on how you define instant and rich?

If you had invested good amount of money last jan, then you could've been rich today.

And those 6-7 months can be called, instant? Depends on you.

Perhaps this site could help

https://airdropalert.com/
A very useful website to get free air drop, thanks. Hope people can come here to tell us some good airdrops we can't find on https://airdropalert.com/

Guys it is a pity, but this site now advertising this site qoinpro.com
But as I just read this site is some kind of scam. They didn't pay to all users.

Do u have a source? all scam alerts of this site ive seen are from 2014... Personally I am paid a few days by coinpro, not saying im convinced its legit. But uptill now i dont see a scam here
I second this. I've received free coins, not paid a thing. Very small amounts, could take months to get a balance worth withdrawing but you literally do nothing after you sign up. Don't even have to login.
I withdrawed most of the coins without issues, never paid anything, only shared my referral link. Great site to set and forget.

Noref:https://qoinpro.com

You must have some millions referrals to even get your first withdrwal from there lol.

I signed up 3 years ago there and guess what this site hasn't accumulated to cover the coin fees.
