1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: exit scam or fund issue ? on: October 15, 2019, 12:52:40 PM
I hope OP can change this thread subject as it could be misleading and make some of users feel uneasy.
It's very clear from the announcement on the website that they asking users to stop Depositing and start to withdraw their asset.
Running exchange is hard if no volume. No volume mean no income from trading fee, not to mention the listing fee might cheap too.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Any updates on Cryptopia??? on: October 15, 2019, 12:47:23 PM
Grant Thornton, the firm liquidating hacked New Zealand cryptocurrency exchange Cryptopia, has discussed how best to do so with the platform’s developers.

Grant Thorton aims for “collaborative relationship”
According to a leaked email from Grant Thornton originally dated Sept. 23, its executives planned to conduct an online meeting with the developers on Oct. 7. The email reads:

“Given the scale, complexity and unique nature of the Cryptopia situation it is desirable to develop a collaborative relationship with the developer community.”

The move marks the latest step in reimbursing the exchange’s clients, who lost about $4.2 million in total after the hack last January.

In August, preparations were already underway to determine wallet ownership, with the liquidation process facing various hurdles nonetheless.

“A positive message”
According to Grant Thornton, Tuesday’s meeting aimed to explain the liquidation process to the developers and ask for their assistance going forward. The email continues:

“We believe engagement is a vital element to the overall success of the liquidation and a positive message for the crypto community at large.”

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Too many exchange apps on: October 15, 2019, 12:37:56 PM
There are plenty of exchange apps, both for Android and iOS.
At the moment I've tested 3 most common apps:
- Binance - sometimes ok, but not for the first time I somehow can't go through KYC via this app. Notifications don't work correctly, etc.
- Coinbase - was ok even with slow support, but after they increased their fees to 0.5%... Well, sorry, not going to use it.
- Changelly - it's new, I don't know if it's stable and well-working, and there are not enough reviews, but I was satisfied with the web version though

My question is: does anyone use exchange apps? If so, which ones? If not - why not? Share your experience, please.

I use the Android App of Binance, Kucoin, & Huobi Global.
I don't activate the notification, so i can not comment on this part. But as for KYC on Binance app, it's work just fine.
Kucoin app & Huobi app also work just fine, didn't encounter such error that some user being complaining on telegram group.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Listing an Exchange on Coinmarketcap on: October 15, 2019, 12:17:00 PM
Which exchange is how much reliable this is another criteria for list as a exchange in coinmarketcap. Looking shit exchanges will be denied. But recently i saw a lot of thread regarding CMC manipulation they showing many fake things such as fake volume is one of them and exchange ranking. So that now a lot of people no more trust it. I think coingecko is the best one. You can apply here to get reliable.

Getting listed on coingecko is more easy. But the problem lies with community/ users. They more prefer seeing the project on CMC.
The first think on their mind is CMC, not listed on CMC is not good. Maybe in next 2 years user will be able to see coingecko on par with CMC, but at the moment CMC still the king.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Listing an Exchange on Coinmarketcap on: October 15, 2019, 12:11:22 PM
Hello world,
So I've been trying to list an exchange in CMC. They actually manage the whole thing almost like a state secret.
The selection criteria is not clearly stated and they do not give any feedback on why the exchange was or wasn't accepted.
Of course it's important to have the basics like a fully functional product, clear rates and fees, customer support, and other customer client channels like a Telegram helpdesk group, Twitter for public announcements, etc.
But does anyone know which are the critical factors?
Or have some advice on how to get it approved?

I been on your position too with the project i work with. The critical factor is you need to listed on at least 2 exchange that already listed on CMC and both must have some volume.
I my case, our dev submit the application while only listed on 1 CMC listed exchange, then get reject. But after we listed on second CMC listed exchange, our project just getting listed on CMC
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The best exchange in 2019? on: October 15, 2019, 08:14:01 AM
Other than Binance, i use Kucoin , Okex & Huobi Global. Kucoin deposit & withdrawal is quiet fast, the interface also nice.
Not using Okex so much, but so far the interface also fine.
Been using Huobi Global too, the interface is simple & nice but the withdrawal will the some time because they review the withdrawal manually, which take time but i think more safer.

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: RoganBit New Brand Ambassador Program on: October 13, 2019, 07:39:27 AM
Agree with rijaljun, brand Ambassador don't need to a celebrities. Some project more prefer if their ambassador have deep knowledge in blockchain technology and the project detail.
That's why the Ambassador usually is someone from their community that already join for certain period and follow the project development.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🚥🚥🚥 SEND SMS FROM TELEGRAM 🚥🚥🚥 on: October 13, 2019, 07:26:24 AM
Great idea behind this bot function. While it's fun for doing prank to friends, this function also can be used to do bad thing.
Maybe if you can add security function like if the sender going to send sms to more than 20 peoples, reject the sms.
Or something like counter to count the number of recipient, so if already used to send to many receiver, will trigger the failsafe alarm.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Telegram Open Network: Pavel Durov launch ICO on: October 12, 2019, 07:48:51 AM
What is Telegram Open Network?
Telegram Open Network (TON) is a blockchain network project designed to be fast, secure, scalable and capable of handling millions of transactions per second. TON is designed to be a competitor to Ethereum’s smart contracts and decentralized applications while also being extremely scalable.

Why TON?
According to Telegram, TON has been created in response to the inability of existing blockchain platforms to push for mainstream cryptocurrency adoption. TON’s solution meets the speed and scalability needs required for mass adoption of cryptocurrency while retaining its decentralized nature.

What is Gram?
The Gram token is the native utility token of TON and it is denoted by the TON triangular symbol. Gram will serve as the principal cryptocurrency for the in-app economy on Telegram and will also be available for external use. Gram will serve as the principal cryptocurrency for the in-app economy on Telegram and will also be available for external use. Until now, the only way to buy Gram tokens has been through private sale rounds, which were not open to the public. The Gram Token Sale on Liquid will be the first opportunity for the general public to buy Gram tokens. We anticipate Gram becoming one of the largest cryptocurrencies by market cap, as well as potentially the world’s most adopted cryptocurrency with the coming launch of TON to Telegram’s 200 million active users.

What are the use cases of Gram?
Gram will be used for a variety of services on TON. Services will include:

Commission ("gas") paid to TON nodes ("validators") for processing transactions and smart contracts.
Stakes deposited by validators to be eligible to validate transactions and generate new blocks and coins.
Capital lent out to validators in exchange for a share of their reward.
Voting power required to support or oppose changes in the parameters of the protocol.
Payment for services provided by apps built on the platform (TON Services) Payment for storing data securely in a decentralized way (TON Storage).
Payment for registering blockchain-based domain names (TON DNS) and hosting TON-sites (TON WWW).
Payment for hiding identity and IP addresses (TON Proxy).
Payment for bypassing censorship imposed by local ISPs (TON Proxy).
Gram will also be available for use outside of TON like any other cryptocurrency currently in the market.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Lowest trading fees here? on: October 11, 2019, 01:31:46 PM
Many new exchange available now, but if the number of trader & volume is low. This kind of exchange can not won't be able to run for long time.
There also concern too with security, are they actively do hackathon program?
I prefer to do trading on exchange that can handle them self on this issue.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [AIRDROP BOT] Telegram Bot for Airdrop Campaigns. on: October 09, 2019, 03:45:46 AM
You can check demo working bot at
Contact us at if interested

Can the bot being reuse for another different campaign after the first campaign over?
Or we need to pay additional cost(cheaper than initial cost) if we want to use it for another campaign?
Or is it even possible to reconfigure the bot like just change the bot name via botfather?
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are airdrops safe? on: October 08, 2019, 07:26:27 AM
User need to exercise caution upon joining airdrop because some of the airdrop is not legit. Especially if KYC is required.
Users need to analyze whenever it's worth to give our precious data to unknown company for small airdrop.
We do understand that KYC is needed in order to eliminate multiple join, but this data could be fall to wrong hand.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What exchange is better than binance? on: October 05, 2019, 08:04:59 AM
Better than Binance?
No such exchange exist yet. But the exchange that have similar capability & UI like Binance is Huobi, Kucoin, OKEX.
But i don't believe Binance gonna collapse anytime soon. They work very hard to buidl their plarform, expand their business to different region.
This is their last week achievement:
1. Community coin returns
2. #Binance Staking
3. Binance @Tronfoundation SR
4. Market maker program
5. Broker partner program
6. Koinal fiat onramp added (Buy #Crypto with Visa & Debit cards in 175+ Countries)
7. Futures mobile ready

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Does anyone from Bitcoin Talk use Metamask? on: October 05, 2019, 07:13:58 AM
Metamask is good wallet extension, so you don't need to worry about the security.
But now i don't use wallet extension anymore after using Binance Dex, many good wallet available on playstore that support multiple coin & token. So more convieience than using Metamask that still limited to ERC20

19  Economy / Exchanges / Re: is closing, remove you founds! on: October 05, 2019, 02:19:28 AM
I see many people opening new exchange, seeing some of the big exchange make fortune less than 1 year. Too many exchange mean the volume with divided among the exchanges which will make the volume on the exchange pretty small to almost zero. You will need to pay for exchange operational which over time if no profit made from trading fee, then be ready to closed the business.
20  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Buying and Selling anything with Bitcoin (apartment,House,Car,Shoes) on: October 05, 2019, 02:13:57 AM

Hi thanks for your post, many customers choose our service based on quality and speed. We not gone take 10 days to make a wire transfer.

We tried to be transparent as much we could be on the fees side, To withdraw fiat  from $1000 to $200000 , we charge 3.9% and usualy local and international wire transfers can be completed within 24 hours.
To withdraw Westernunion, moneygram ,we charge 8.5 , and fund is disponible within 30 minutes to your country.
Same fees for Cash delivery to home   and can  take  between 6 to 24 hours to get the cash to your door.

I think your fee is too high. Most local exchange charge only 1%. Minimum Deposit also to high, if your aim is market place then it's won't work, unless you only aim to be property market then it's make sense.
For Western Union, i believe hardly anyone in blockchain family use their service. Blockchain exist to solve the problem on traditional banking like high fee, long process.
