This is real truth. Even in relation to many decent projects that's the sad truth... market is just overflowed with various tokens and that's the result.

As for me this year is deciding for crypto - if it will be able to overcome all difficulties - it will dominate economics, otherwise it may hit long stagnation.
Currently I'd keep out of investing in crypto because market is sinking. Of course you can hit a lucky ticket if market will grow again but no one can guarantee that it will happen.
Mine is Monero. The reason is simple - it provides real anonimity and security, it is like BTC + coin mixer so I really like that fact. n2 is ETH, of course. n3. BTC because it is the classics.

I am really afraid now. It is very difficult for me to build any kind of predictions about the market currently, but it seems that current times are the toughest for crypto. We should endure that.
Probably sell. I used to be the real believer and romantic but lately those times made me change my strategies and opinions about how things work in crypto.
For me it is likely that it will finally happen one day. Even if now crypto is not in its best positions it still has very good chances to accomplish that in future...
Cryptocurrencies are really safe even with lots of hackers all over the world. However every user of crypto must follow a number of strict rules in order to keep his funds safe.
Alts are very difficult to handle in this year, I'd probably run away from them to BTC/ETH in my portfolio, or maybe go just 100% BTC because lately alts are loosing price in relation to BTC.
I'm not sure if there exists any exact way to manage risks in ICO investments or big trades. Crypto is kind of irrational and non-stable so it's more like about luck, not skill.
Price jumps up and down mostly because of various rumors and news around crypto and BTC itself. It's not always about real reasons, but about peoples beliefs and minds.
I agree with your ideas about this things, actually there are less and less worthy projects and tokens, that's very sad to admit.
Nothing surprising here, you're not alone. Alts became really dangerous after the winters fall, it is very difficult to maintain portfolio and various tokens now.
That's a very risky way, especially in relation to todays market, ICOs are not stable at all and currently there are no proofs that situation will change later.
My tactics is nearly always the same: just stay calm, keep your mind cold and adapt to the changes which happen to the market, such strategy will never let you down!
I think that ICOs won't die in 2018 as well as in 2019 and further... Only if some regulatory laws will be applied to crypto, only in that case I'd believe that ICOs will come to an end.
This is a good advice indeed. I personally recommend beginners to invest in crypto only by their effort and time but not put money directly into coins.
Information has the biggest influence in this question I think. Any news, any rumour make such a strong reaction that there's absolutely no doubt for me about their influence here.
I don't doubt that alts should exist because many of them cope with really important problems. Also many of them can't exist as independent blockchain so they should you other coins platform.
Nothing special in it for me, it is just a serious topic for most of crypto-involved people because all other coins usually follow and support the trends that BTC produce.
