1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Market Decouples more and more from Bitcoin on: June 14, 2018, 09:23:39 PM
once btc becomes PoS 'mined' where it doesnt cost a penny to mine it.. down will drop the cost and down will come the price.

Why on earth do you think that's gonna happen? Proof of stake is, as of now, still unproven as a reliable method to secure the chain. Proof of work does, the only drawback being high energy consumption. Bitcoin will never be proof of stake. It'll be long gone by the time developers even consider going pos.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: alt season? on: June 11, 2018, 07:15:12 PM
I’m pretty sure we’re in a long term downtrend. All signs point to it. In my view it’s gonna be at least a couple years before we can even consider something similar like the December run.
3  Economy / Economics / Re: I almost lost my rock solid regular job because of crypto on: June 11, 2018, 07:06:07 PM
I was able to comfortably for a few months by focusing solely on making money from crypto. Guessing my luck is starting to run out. I’m kinda burning through my reserves right now. Also not being paid by certain bounty campaigns is taking its toll. Gonna stay away from crypto for a while.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Bitcoin go under 7,000? Please participate! on: June 11, 2018, 10:01:21 AM
Things are not looking well. By any means. I'm going to reiterate so that maybe some of you are spared the disappointment of having lost a lot of money in this market: the tech is not better than it was a year ago, adoption and awareness are slightly up (but there's also a downside to this due to the speculatory nature of the space - people are scared, basically). Manipulation appears to be at its heaviest and there's barely any outside money coming in. I'm suspecting a long bear market, until some major breakthroughs are on the horizon.
5  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is global regulation of cryptocurrencies possible? on: June 11, 2018, 09:50:50 AM
Regulating a decentralized thing? Impossible thing to happen.

Talking about governments view about crypto which is definitely true and once they do have that kind of perspective from the beginning then changing it would really be hard. As of saying "First Impression Do Last".
Once decision is set then you cant do anything about it.

What do you mean impossible, lol? It's already happening in places like Japan and Malta. Suspect the US will follow suit soon enough. Some sort of regulation will be absolutely necessary. For this space to thrive, it needs oversight and protection. I hope you're not thinking crypto will enjoy mainstream adoption without being heavily overlooked. That's just a pipe dream. Maybe possible in self governing, autonomous communities. But that's science fiction for now.
6  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does bitcoin will double its value by the end of the year? on: June 11, 2018, 09:45:38 AM
Despite recent price woes, experts are predicting that Bitcoin will double in value by the end of the year.
https://www.newsbtc.com/2018/06/07/experts-predict-bitcoin-will-double-in-value-by-the-end-of-the-year/

Do you think this will happen? If this will happen I will invest most of my money in this bitcoin.

What do you mean if this happens you will invest lol? If this happens and you're not invested by that time, you've essentially missed the train. Anyways, the point I'm trying to make is These experts based their opinions on TA mostly, not tech usage and most importantly they're not taking the heavy manipulation into account. I'm willing to bet btc will be down to 3000$ by EOY.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to make money on risky ICOs? on: June 11, 2018, 09:42:01 AM
Unless it's some heavily shilled project, I wouldn't even consider investing in ICOs during such a bearish market. You'll almost guaranteed to lose money. During these times I cash out literally everything I have and stick to doing bounties and whatnot.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin will End Friday with $6200 on: June 11, 2018, 09:39:04 AM
As  bitcoin is now $6700 then I am tempted to believe that by the end of coming friday bitcoin will be $6200. A lot of analyst are predicting that bitcoin will end the month of June with a price of 5000 USD. What do you think.
Pretty sure we're gonna see it go below 6200$ by midweek. Yesterday, 14 billion $ were turned into smoke in a matter of minutes. The overall feeling is overwhelmingly bearish. We will see 3000$ by EOY. Bar some major developments that will actually bring use to crypto other than speculation.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The market does not look good! on: June 11, 2018, 09:30:55 AM
i am bored about these hacking news.
in every 6 months, one exchange hacked and all prices are dumping. all investor lost confidence about market

It's got nothing to do with some obscure exchange getting hacked. It would be pretty sad if that were the case. The market is a continual correction (manipulation). There's basically no new money coming in. It will drop, based on my analysis of former trends, to 200 billions. Below 200 is something we should be really worried about. If that's to happen, there will be a couple of bearish years. Or until some legit products take the stage.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Being aware of SCAMS on: June 11, 2018, 09:26:26 AM
Study their team, look into their past experience. That's the easiest and fastest way to tell whether a project is a scam or not. Don't even consider investing in coins with anonymous teams. Extensive research is always welcome, but in 90% of the cases, you'll be able to tell from the get go whether it's gonna be a scam or not.
11  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin again 6k$..... on: June 11, 2018, 09:23:30 AM
I'm seeing most of the previous bullrun fade into nothingness. At this point, there's so much manipulation going on and so little outside money coming in, that I don't think we'll be seeing consistent bulls for at least another year or so.

13  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin on: June 04, 2018, 11:24:25 AM
What do these speculations serve other than to inflate the ego of a post-purchase-rationalization suffering individual? I mean, speculation is healthy, but there needs to be a basis to it. What is your basis for this figure? Why not 50k? Or 100k? or maybe 1k? People who are making these assumptions, can you please explain why a certain figure?
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitTorrent Creator Bram Cohen Attacks ICOs on: June 04, 2018, 11:21:54 AM
Because of the greed in this space, ICOs have been turned into a get-rich-quick scheme. Their value as a crowdfunding method is undisputed, imo. Regulation needs to be imposed, to allow ICOs to be the future of investments.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: best exchange for traders on: June 04, 2018, 11:19:27 AM
Guess technically binance. You have access to USDT and you can convert leftover dust (unsold fractions of a certain coins) to bnb, which effectively allows you to pay half the fees. By far my favorite exchange. Bittrex was on top at some point, mainly cause it has a tonne of obscure coins.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs gonna end someday ? on: June 03, 2018, 05:12:15 PM
I'd say they're just getting started. A great crowdfunding tool for legit projects. We do need some regulations, though. I think in the future all crowdfunding will be done through a system similar to ICOs.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dont you think that crypto market is still overvalued? on: June 03, 2018, 04:54:09 PM
Probably. We can't really attribute accurate value to an emergent tech because we have no idea whether it's gonna succeed as a global payment standard. But when and if it breaks out from the stigma of unprofessionalism and shady practices, it will be a revolution that could dwarf pretty much any other development since the internet and smartphones.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]⚡⚡⚡ Dock.io - Decentralized Data Exchange Protocol w/ Live Beta App⚡⚡⚡ on: June 03, 2018, 04:40:56 PM
DOCK hurry to pay the reward token. This dragging on the development of the project itself will make people lose trust and confidence.

At this point, even if they DO in fact pay their dues, they will have lost a lot of confidence. I would not recommend anyone deal with these people given their attitude of censorship and unreliability. I wish we could step up and actually make more people aware of their practices.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Its time to move on, and ignore the BTC !!! on: June 03, 2018, 04:31:44 PM
If you have lost hopes on bitcoin, just leave the crypto field. The alt coins are completely manipulated and are of no use in long term.

That's where you're wrong. The seed of the crypto garden that was bitcoin will be a relic, within the next 2-5 years. The very idea of decentralization cannot be upheld by one single currency. It's the very definition of centralization. There needs to be a plethora of valid cryptos with different usecases that compete and evolve through said competition.  Bitcoin cannot be the only currency of the internet, just like we can't have the dollar the sole currency of the world.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How we can stop scam ICOs lanching? on: June 03, 2018, 04:23:28 PM
I think the only way to stop them is for people to lose interest in investing in them. Which I think may happen over time.

Pretty much. However, come next major bullrun, stupid money will be thrown once again left and right. Mainly because during such periods it's hard to lose money. And so the cycle continues. Regulation is the only thing I can think about that would certainly curb the enthusiasm of serial scammers.
